Nestled among the rolling Tuscan hills and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, our lovingly restored barn is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable holiday. Located just 30 minutes from Florence and 40 from Siena, it is the perfect base to explore Tuscany’s treasures, including San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, and Lucca.
I Glicini offers three uniquely styled apartments, each thoughtfully designed to create a warm and authentic Tuscan ambiance.
Every apartment features a private entrance and its own terrace, equipped with a table, chairs, barbecue, and sun umbrella, perfect for savoring a glass of Chianti as the sun sets. Inside, you’ll find fully equipped kitchens with an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, and iron. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed and comes with its own private bathroom. In our garden, surrounded by the tranquility of the countryside, you can unwind by the pool or simply soak in the breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape.

perfect location

We've been going to Italy for the last 15 years. This place was clean, conveniently located and perfect for a couple that need a quiet break. And the views of the surrounding hills were spectacular. We will be back, if we're lucky.

This is a true quality accomodation at a good location, just outside the village. House, interior and exterior are very well maintained and equipped, with all you need for a relaxed stay. Nice swimming pool with great vieuws. Roberto and Lucia are very nice and helpfull persons,caring about your well-being as we have experienced.

Tranquility in Tuscany

The pictures of this property did not disappoint. The location was perfect. Close to many beautiful locations. The views are stunning and the pool area was perfect for the hot days when we just felt like relaxing around the villa. Lucia and Roberto are exceptional hosts. Friendly and willing to help with any of our needs. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing!

What a perfect place to come to and relax. Right from the first interaction with Lucia and Roberto, I knew that my mom and I picked the right place to unwind and enjoy a getaway together. They were absolutely incredible, greeted us with a warm welcome and with their beautiful hearts. I felt like we knew each other for years. I felt comfortable and right at home and that’s exactly what my mom and I were looking for! From the breathtaking grounds, to amazing recommendations, we were so grateful to have found this home. Thank you again Lucia and Roberto for your hospitality, and we will definitely be back again.

Schöne Ferienwohnung sehr zentral in der Toskana

Eine super schöne Anlage mit Pool, der auch täglich von Roberto sauber gehalten wird. Lucia und Roberto waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und hatten viele tolle Tipps. Leider mussten wir unseren Urlaub wegen Krankheit abbrechen, wir werden aber sefinitiv wieder kommen.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir waren etwas länger wie eine Woche Gast in dieser tollen Location. Die Lage ist Ideal für Kurztripps in der näheren Umgebung als sich für Tagesausflüge nach Florenz oder z.Bsp. ins Chianti. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche übrig.Lucia und Roberto sind tolle Vermieter die sich im herzlichst um das Anwesen kümmern.

Von An- bis Abreise: Erholung pur!

Für alle, die auf die Highlights in der Toskana aus sind, wie z.B. Florenz, Siena, Volterra und San Gimignano, ist die Lage des Anwesens einfach perfekt, da besagte Orte von da aus in gut einer halben Stunde erreichbar sind. Dazu sind auch noch kleinere, vlt. weniger bekannte, aber durchaus interessante Orte der Ghianti-Region zu entdecken - nicht zuletzt auch deren Gastronomie! Die FeWo Glicini 1, in der wir 14 Tage verbrachten, ist ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil: Geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Dazu noch die nicht einsehbare Terrasse, die zum Aufenthalt einlädt. Der weitere Außenbereich der Anlage ist gärtnerisch sehr liebevoll angelegt. Der Pool mit seinen 12 x 6 m war jeden Morgen absolut sauber und hat uns zum Schwimmen eingeladen. Lucia und Roberto haben uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und standen uns jederzeit für Fragen und Empfehlungen zur Verfügung. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung guten Herzens weiter empfehlen und planen schon einen erneuten Besuch im nächsten Jahr.

Super toll !!!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und vor allem auch der Pool. Es ist sehr ruhig. Die größeren Städte sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Die Vermieter Lucia und Roberto sind ganz lieb und nett. Wenn es ein Problem gibt oder Informationen braucht, kann man sie kontaktieren und sie helfen einem auch weiter. Traumhaft schöne Ferienwoche!

Wir haben eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung Glicini 1 verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und in der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was man für die Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Das Grundstück ist schöne angelegt und gepflegt. Der Pool ist verhältnismäßig groß und wird täglich gereinigt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ländlich aber doch zentral gelegen. Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Besitzer Lucia und Roberto sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und man spürt, dass sie die Ferienwohnungen mit Herzblut betreiben.

FANTASTIC !!!

Fantastic ! This wonderful place is so deserving of a 5 star review.. My husband Les , and I loved every minute of our stay ! It was our first visit to Tuscany and the house was so ' authentic' , full of charm.. Has a spectacular view of vineyards, and country side... Close to amenities, and close to Florence , Lucca and Pisa and much more. The hosts were SO wonderful and gracious and were so kind and helpful.. The place was immaculate, and the pool was super clean and well taken care of ! We would LOVE to go there again ! Special thanks to Lucia and Roberto ! GRAZIE !!!

Urlaub im Spätsommer

Wir haben uns kurzfristig für eine Woche Toskana entschieden und die Wahl unseres Ferienobjektes nicht bereut. Die Vermieter Lucia und Roberto einfach nur Zucker. Perfekter Check-In mit allen nötigen Informationen zum Objekt und drumherum. Keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet. Die Wohnung selbst sehr sauber und in perfektem Zustand. In diesem Fall passten die Fotos zu 100% zum Original. Das Grundstück sehr gepflegt mit einem tollen Ausblick. Zum Schluss gab es von Lucia noch italienische Gartenpflanzen den heimischen Garten. Die bekommen sicher einen Ehrenplatz.

Ein großartiger Aufenthalt im Paradies

Es handelt sich um eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einem alten Haus, das sehr liebevoll und mit Blick fürs Detail saniert wurde. In dem Haus befinden sich zwei weitere Wohnungen, die aber so liegen, dass man sich zusammensetzten kann, wenn man es möchte, aber immer auch seine Privatsphäre haben kann. Eine kleine uneinsehbare Terrasse gehört zur Wohnung. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und liegt traumhaft schön mit Blick über die unverbaute Hügellandschaft der Toskana. Die entscheidenden Städte für Kunstfreunde sind gut erreichbar: Florenz, Siena, Arezzo, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca etc. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, so dass man sich wirklich erstaunlich gut erholen kann. Die Vermieter Lucia und Roberto sind ein Dreamteam: Lucia spricht sehr gut Englisch, so dass man sich prima mit ihr verständigen kann. Roberto kümmert sich morgens um den Pool und sorgt dafür, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Menschen, die keinen Wert auf viel „Schischi“ legen, aber dafür die Ruhe, die Natur und einen unerschöpflichen Kunstschatz zu würdigen wissen. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei Lucia und Roberto und wollen wiederkommen! Grazie mille!

Un endroit magnifique, avec accueil par des gens professionnels et adorables.

Si vous êtes en voiture, c'est l'endroit idéal pour découvrir la Toscane et ses nombreux charmes. La piscine et le calme, vous permettrons matin et soir d'encadrer les excursions sublimes toutes a proximité. Un grand merci à la propriétaire pour ses conseils et un grand bravo pour son francais.

Ideal rural Chianti stay

Our stay at Glicini was wonderful. The property and pool were spotless, Lucia and Roberto made every effort to ensure our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The local information they shared with us - where to park on our journey into Florence, local vineyards who offered great tasting afternoons and more was really helpful. This is a beautiful, rural, peaceful spot ideally placed for visits to all the "hotspots" of Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano and more.

Great views, comfortable accommodations and amenities, delightful hosts, perfect location.

Perfect HQ for traveling Tuscany. Just sitting outside Glicini 1 is all you need to see of Tuscany landscapes. You can see forever looking past the vineyards and olive groves. Co-Op grocery store is nearby and has all provisions you need. Wine is priced right so we enjoyed several bottles a day. Lucia and Roberto’s list of restaurants was right on for cuisine and pricing. Everything on one level was a great help for my wife. This is our best Home Away experience and we have had some very good ones.

Einfach traumhaft, Toskana pur

Wir haben uns bei Lucia und Roberto sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden herzlich aufgenommen. Lucia gibt tolle Tipps was man sich ansehen sollte und wo die Weinprobe am Besten ist. Sie hat uns sehr gute Restaurants empfohlen, wo es typische Toskanische Gerichte gibt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sehr geräumig und alles mit Liebe eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und auch die Dinge die man so braucht sind alle vorhanden. Von unserer Terrasse hatten wir einen wundervollen Blick ins Land mit Olivenbäumen und Weinreben. Was es nicht gibt sind Zudecken im Bett, wir hatten uns 2 Wolldecken mitgebracht und diese dann mit den Laken kombiniert das war ausreichend. Ansonsten ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Heaven in Tuscany

We spent five nights at I Glicini in October. What a gem of a place! Ideally situated between Florence and Siena, the apartment itself comes very well equipped - we at several meals there when we did not feel like going out for dinner. Lucia and Roberto are fantastic hosts. We met Lucia the first night of our stay, and she provided many tips and tidbits about where to eat, buy groceries, shop, tour...and she was more than willing to answer any question. The property itself is a short five minute drive from the town of Tavarnelle and about 30 minutes from Florence - and very well located to visit many towns of Tuscany. While there are many choices available in this area, I would highly recommend I Glicini, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Staying at this property was the highlight of our trip!

This property is absolutely beautiful! It exceeded our expectations in every way. We had and incredible stay. Lucia was the perfect host. She had prepared lots of great information about the area for us, and greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. I would definitely like to come back!
