À propos de cet hébergement

Nous avons construit une toute nouvelle maison en rondins construite sur mesure sur 6 acres LAKEFRONT! Ceci est très privé avec seulement 1 autre maison visible de la propriété! La cabine est de 3 chambres 2 salle de bain complète. Les chambres sont aménagées comme suit: A l'étage Chambre a lit Queen et salle de bain complète avec double lavabos et douche. L'étage principal dispose de 2 chambres: un lit queen et d'autres lits superposés Log Bed.
Nous avons également 2 lits jumeaux roulants pour les invités supplémentaires.

La grande salle a 3 portes françaises qui donnent sur un lac privé de 80 acres. Les portes mènent à plus de 1000 pieds carrés autour du pont. Le pont sera équipé de grande grille, meubles de patio et hamac! La grande salle a une section et une table de cuisine avec des sièges pour 6.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec micro-ondes, cuisinière, réfrigérateur, casseroles, poêles, assiettes, ustensiles et plus encore! La cuisine dispose de comptoirs en granit et sous l'évier.

Un peu sur le lac: Le lac est plus de 80 acres Entièrement stocké avec le doré, l'achigan, le poisson-chat, et le poisson-crapaud. Inclus avec la location, nous avons un bateau à rames en V, un bateau à aubes 5 personnes et un kayak double! Tous les bateaux sont inclus avec votre location mais doivent être utilisés à vos risques et périls.

La propriété dispose d'une péninsule privée qui dispose d'un grand quai pour votre plaisir. Nous avons maintenant un patio circulaire avec foyer pour votre plaisir. Asseyez-vous sur les chaises Adirondack et profiter de la vue sur le lac et la brise! Beaucoup de bois sur place pour le foyer.

Le sous-sol a également été fini avec des canapés, et une table de billard pour votre plaisir!

Cooperstown Dream Park à Oneonta est à seulement 20 minutes!

S'il vous plaît noter dans quel parc vous jouez comme les parcs et les champs sont multilple.

Nous avons actuellement une autre location de maison en bois rond sur HomeAway 3809961 qui est loué toute l'année, donc par la demande populaire, nous avons construit une autre maison en rondins personnalisés sur le lac! J'espère que tout le monde aime notre maison et a de nombreux souvenirs sur le lac! Nous espérons voir tout le monde année après année!

Anniversary trip

We spent five nights at Lake LaFever for our anniversary. Our son was able to come for the weekend. It was great weather at a great venue. Very relaxing, which is what we were after. We all enjoyed the trip and will return again if given the chance!

Quite & Peaceful

Wonderful 5 days spent here. Cabin was nice, right on the lake and we had beautiful weather every day. Wished that the lawn was bigger for our canine, but she had fun regardless. Slight problem with the septic day we arrived. Septic crew had to come and clear the septic tank the following day as well as a gentleman to shop vac the floor in the basement due to septic problem. Because of this, we did not utilize the basement during our stay due to severe dampness on the basement floor. Roomy, with closets in all bedrooms, and plenty of room for your belongings. It did not appear the sheets were changed before our arrival in one of the bedrooms, but other than that, they place was clean. I'm glad we brought our own firewood for indoor and outdoor fires as none was provided. All in all, a relaxed vacation with sum minor bumps. Would definitely rent again from Catskill Cabins, just not this cabin. One with a bigger yard and no carpet in the basement.

Fun outdoor family vacation!

Our family of 5 had our 2nd stay at this house this past weekend. This house is a great place to unplug, spend time playing in the lake (swimming, fishing, kayaking), have bonfires and just relax. Mike was incredibly responsive when we found the paddle boat broken and had a new one to us in a few hours! The house is very comfortable and fun for kiddos, dogs and adults alike!

Cooperstown visit

The cabin was a perfect place for my family to stay in. Large communal spaces inside and out with lake access. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the cabin was extremely clean.

Amazing lake house

This scenic lake house exceeded our family’s expectations - it was quite large, beautiful and clean. Our family enjoyed the row boat and the bonfire pit outside and on a rainy day we loved being able to use the fireplace inside to make smores, relax and watch a movie.

Best vacation!

My family and I had the best time! We wanted to getaway and relax for a few days and this property was perfect. The kayak and game room was such a cool bonus. We enjoyed the fire pit and that awesome porch as well. Definitely returning!!!

Perfect Getaway

This property gave us exactly the comfortable, nature filled, peaceful family getaway weekend we were looking for! The log cabin is so beautiful and clean and stocked with everything you could need. Between the house and the serene quiet lake, we were just in awe of the beauty around us the entire time. The stars were amazing, the outfoor fire pit is awesome. Had so much fun going out on the row boat. We hiked the property across the street too and found so much interesting and beautiful woods scenery. Couldn't have been happier!

Quiet Seclusion in Winter

This was a wonderful cabin located off the beaten path. If you are looking for a quiet location and a nice cabin this place is for you. Our stay was in the winter, so there were very few people around, but it was just what my friends and I were looking for.

Cozy lakefront cabin

We were so impressed with this home with magnificent views of the lake. Immaculate home built with attention to detail. The house had everything we needed from towels to toiletries and linens provided. Our girls loved the game room in the basement and we all loved warming up in front of the fire after a ski day. They still had decorated for holiday with a lit tree and garland with lights on staircase. Looking forward to coming back in the fall! Beautiful home!

Great cabin

We booked a last minute trip just to escape the city before the holidays. What an amazing cabin. Beautiful inside and out and they even decorated for the holidays which was a great surprise. It was cold out so we couldn’t utilize the lake or fire pit but we definitely would have. Loved having games and a pool table in the basement. They even had blankets and toys in the cabinet for our dog. Feels like they thought of everything you would need for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

Family meet up

Immaculate. Beautiful location. Marker for arrival poor. Address written in sharpie on a shed. Not easily visible. No “anchor” landmark. On the front side… a typed paper with some television/direct tv/streaming prompts would have cut down on settling-in time. Strongly suggest shower gel/shampoo containers be mounted. Don’t see reason why no spices and/or some condiments could not be available. Pretty remote and frustrating for cooks. Have been to many vrbo’s and never experienced that. A written guide to programming digital HVAC controls would also be helpful. 4 electronic savvy adults. Always treat properties as if they were our own. Just didn’t feel the guest warmth in return. A few little thoughtful touches would be great for future guests to this beautiful home.

Wow What A View!!

I wan to thank Michael for his hospitality and always available communication for our stay at his property. If you want to get away and experience up state NY near the Catskills then this is the place. We came for Cooperstown Baseball Ha of Fame which is about 35mins from the property. It’s a quiet location on a long dirt road sitting on a lake with incredible views, peace and tranquility. All appliances including the gas grill outside worked and it was very clean. We were 3 adult men but would be great for 2 couples with kids, one of 3 bedrooms room had bunk beds and there are additional cots downstairs in the game room. Outstanding stay and hope to come back again!!!!

Family Weekend

We just returned from an amazing weekend on the lake. Even with rain everyday, we were able to fish, roast marshmallows over the fire pit and spend quality time as a family. The pool table was an added bonus. My nephews now love the game. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Stay at the Lake

We enjoyed our time at the Lake house! Beautiful property and everything was clean and organized. Only issue, the identifier of the entrance point was missing. Our motto was "Where's the anchor?" All weekend. We had to ask a neighbor who was kind enough to confirm we were in the correct place. Other than that awesome time

A Great Week of Baseball and Lake Life

We had a wonderful stay at Lake LaFever Lodge while in the Cooperstown area for our son's baseball tournament. The house was a bit of a drive from All-Star Village, but we loved having access to the lake. The fishing was amazing — our 8-year-old caught a 5-pound bass! And the rowboat, kayak and paddleboat made it easy to explore the entire lake. The house was perfect for our family. Thank you for a great week.

Beautiful Home

We stayed here when our son played in Cooperstown and it was so nice to come home to such a cozy beautiful home. The area is quiet and we had the best time fishing on the dock and taking the boat, peddle boat and kayak out. We enjoyed making smores. Loved it would highly recommend.

Fantastic Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The cabin had all the essentials and the property is beautiful and private. Being right on the water was great and we all had an awesome time using the boats and kayak. We caught a ton of fish (catch and release) and enjoyed being on the quiet lake.

Remote and peaceful

House was great! Just as advertised. Really remote location so bring everything you need. Boats were pretty dirty so be prepared to clean them if you’re planning on using them, but that’s to be expected when they’re kept outside. House is really clean and the basement is a great bonus area. Lake is beautiful- super peaceful and loaded with fish! A great vacation for all - highly recommend.
