VERA MAR - BEACHFRONT COMPLEX

L'emplacement central de ce complexe offre la possibilité de marcher en une minute à pied vers la longue plage de sable fin, la promenade ou le centre-ville.

Il est composé de trois bâtiments distincts qui entourent tous une piscine d'eau de mer. C'est un complexe très calme et la majorité des propriétaires ne louent pas à des groupes de jeunes, ce qui contribue à le maintenir au calme. La plage est juste en face du complexe Vera Mar, tout ce que vous avez à faire est de sortir de la porte clôturée et vous serez sur la promenade. L'emplacement de Vera Mar est vraiment impressionnant.

Cette zone regorge de bars, restaurants, magasins, supermarchés (Mercadona, la chaîne de supermarchés la plus grande et la moins chère d’Espagne, est à seulement 100 mètres).

Une caractéristique distinctive est que nous incluons gratuitement l'accès au parking privé du complexe. Les appartements offrent WiFi en option.

Good place to stay in Los Cristianos

We stayed for 14 days and we enjoyed our holiday much. We travel with our 2 years old son. The apartment is clean and well equipped and the resort is quiet with nice swimming pool and the beach is great for families with children! Jennifer was very helpful, she sorted out all our doubts before booking and also Alfonso who welcomed us at the apartment. In general, we had a good experience booking this apartment. Thank you!

Buenas vacaciones familiares

El apartamento estaba equipado con todo lo que necesitábamos para las vacaciones. El personal que nos recibió a la llegada fue muy atento y servicial en todo momento. La urbanización tranquila y segura al lado de una playa muy bonita y a poca distancia del supermercado, restaurantes y tiendas.

Bella vacanza!!!

Siamo rimasti 12 notti in questo residence di appartamenti. La casa che abbiamo affittato era impeccabilmente pulita e perfettamente equipaggiata. Molto apprezzata la piscina che abbiamo usato praticamente come unici villeggianti. L' ubicazione è fantastica: a ridosso del lungomare e della spiaggia (davvero molto comodo per amanti del mare come noi). In spiaggia l' affitto degli ombrelloni/ sdraio costa 4 euro (alla fine abbiamo optato per comprarci un ombrellone). Accanto al residence c'è un supermercato aperto fino a tardi, vari ristorantini e bar/ cocktelerie con vista mare (un ambiente molto carino, soprattutto la notte). La seconda settimana abbiamo deciso di affittare un' auto. Avevamo accesso al parking gratuito del residence, nel quale c'era sempre qualche posto libero, un dettaglio importante visto che parcheggiare nella zona Los Cristianos non è un' impresa facile. Un grazie caloroso a Alfonso, a Miguel e a Jenny! Consiglieremo vivamente questa esperienza ai nostri amici! Un abbraccio da Monza!

Delante de una playa excelente!!

Encantados con la elección de este apartamento. Limpio y tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar durante unas vacaciones.La playa se encuentra en la misma puerta, además es una de las playas más limpias y con el agua más claro de toda la zona. Fue muy fácil reservar desde el inicio hasta el final. Un servicio y un trato excelente. Estuvimos muy agusto. 100% recomendable.

Excellent Stay

We really love this resort, this is our second stay and would return without a doubt. The location is stunning. Best beach just opposite the gate. The apartment were comfortable and very well equipped with every you need for a self catering holiday. The owners were easy to contact and always happy to help. I would definitely recommend it.

Good position but very dated

This property was in a perfect position. The pictures where different to the inside of the property. We don't think they had been stayed in for a while because it was very dusty and grubby. The first day my husband got an electric shock of the toaster we did contact Miguel and a Spanish speaking lady brought a new one the next day. Second day I got locked in the bathroom whilst my husband was out this must have happened before because one side of the door handle was missing.the shower was pouring water out o the bathroom was soaking. We contacted Miguel and he sent the repair man the day before we left. We asked for a small refund but got offered 15% off our next stay, so we asked for a 15% refund instead but never got a reply. We do think th position is great and is good for walking and restaurant s they just need updating and are a little expensive.

Excellent stay

Perfectly located next to the beach, a number of lovely restaurants and everything else you might need. We stayed 10 days in March and the apartment met all our needs. Alfonso was very attentive and Miguel helped us throughout our stay. They are very kindly allowed to enter the apartment by midday. The pool was virtually empty during the stay and was fabulous. In summary, I would go back and would definitely recommend to others.

we will definitely come again

VeraMar is a quiet complex with a realy nice quiet pool area(almost too quiet for my taste :D).It is situated few steps away from the beach.. When we first arrived we were quite disappointed-because of some misunderstanding they"ve cleaned the wrong appartment for our arrival.Anyway,we left our luggage there and went to have something to eat,came back and everything was clean and tidy.The apartment had everything we needed. Overall the apartment is well located,quiet,tidy so i can say very good value for the money. Next time i'm sure I will rate it with 5 stars. Many thanks, Marius & Rodica

Clean, quiet and very well located

I'm so glad I found this great place to stay in Tenerife. It's centrally located and the staff were helpful and welcoming as well. Reasonable price considering the location. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely family stay

We stayed for two weeks at this property and the facilities and location couldn't have been better! From the moment of booking to arriving everything went smoothly. The complex is family friendly, nice and quiet and very clean. We made great use of the pool. Parking is always available. There is a large supermarket about a 2 minutes walk away. Close to everything, five time in Tenerife and we have already booked the next stay in this complex. Thank you for a lovely time!

Very comfortable, clean and good facilities

This is the second time this year for us at Vera Mar but we were in a different apartment this time. Much better sea view. The apartment was better than the first one we stayed in in April, although both were perfectly comfortable, very clean and full of everything we needed. Fresh towels were provided as was the bedding and the kitchen was better stocked than my own at home. We had fabulous weather and enjoyed our two weeks immensely. Definitely coming back. Jenny is a delight to deal with - always polite and professional. Thank you very much for a fabulous holiday, yet again! Helen, Stockport, UK

Very good choice

We just returned from our vacation and we have been very comfortable in the apartment. It is well equipped and clean. The complex is quiet and the pool is not saturated, something we value highly because in the last holiday complex where we stayed, the pool was always full of people. We travel with a senior lady and we appreciate the good location of the complex because it is directly connected to the promenade. She was in love with the walks in the mornings and evenings. Highly recommended for elderly people for this reason. The contact people were very friendly and helpful, even they accompanied us to the supermarket to tell us where it was. We will come back more days the next time! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Owners not truthful.

WARNING FOR ANYONE STAYING FROM NOVEMBER 2015 ON! I am writing this review while we are still staying at the Vera Mar complex. A very, very noisy construction work is going on in the complex as we speak and it is going to last FOR TWO MONTHS. It is impossible to be inside the apartment during daytime - due to the noise. All windows and doors must be kept close because of the dust. Drying of the laundry in the balcony is impossible because of the dust. THE OWNERS WILL NOT TELL YOU THE TRUTH. We were not informed about this in any way beforehand, yet I found out from other residents that the decision about this WAS MADE IN AUGUST ALREADY. So, we have been misled. I enquired about the work and its timetable from Jennifer, once it had started. I have gotten varying replies and explanations and expect yet another one as a reply to this review. The last explanation I got was that during our stay the work was going to be happening only in the houses at the very seafront, so the noise would not bother us so much. NOT TRUE! Today we woke up at 9:00 a.m. to a God-awful drilling-sound, which was happening under our very balcony. Obviously, they are trying to get this house done as fast as possible, so that they would not get so many complaints from the people arriving next week. Over the phone Miguel gave me no apologies, none! He simply asked me what the heck my problem is, since nobody else is complaining about this... This is outrageous and absurd! He told me I was supposed to merely understand him since this is only an apartment and not a hotel. Both Jennifer and Miguel have made our whole family feel as if we are only giving them a hard time. Finally I even e-mailed them a recording of the noise to prove my point. Obviously got no reply. The fact of the matter is that the owners have not been truthful or straightforward about this and have been unwilling to compensate this in any way. NOT EVEN A PARTIAL REFUND, NO GESTURES OF COMPENSATION, NOTHING. Anybody staying in this complex from November 2015 on should know, that: 1) You will spend your holiday at a construction site. 2) You will listen to unbearable noise from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a max 1 hour stop during the lunchtime. 3) Jennifer and / or Miguel will tell you that the pool area can be used, but in practice this is not the case, since the noise is just too much. 4) You will get a brief "sorry for the inconvinience" -email, but you will not get even a partial refund.

Faboulous apartment

This apartment is in a fantastic location right next to the beach and very central. The apartment itself has everything you need on holiday.Pool area is great lovely and clean and quiet.There was never any need to get up early to get a sunbed.We had a fantastic holiday and would book this apartment again. Recomendamos ir!

Ubicacion excelente al lado de la playa de Las Vistas. Estuvimos muy a gusto. El apartamento perfectamente limpio y con todo lo necesario. La urbanizacion muy tranquila y la piscina genial para zambullirse despues de un dia de playa. Muchas gracias Jenny y Alfonso por la atencion recibida durante nuestras vacaciones. Repetiremos!!

Lovely apartment close to the beach.

Lovely clean comfortable apartment very close to the beach great swimming pool with sun loungers and great views of the ocean.Restaurants,bars and supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The apartment is highly recommended and the location is one of the best in Los Cristiano's. There was only one down side the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. David ( Cambridge uk )

we stayed two weeks and the location was great, we had a view on the pool and the beach, the rooms were ok and everything worked fine, when we asked for a fan, Miguel said that he would see what he could do, and the same day he brought a fan to the app. maybe it would be nice to have a fan in every room on the sealing? we had a great holiday and the custemer service was ok.we are certenly thinking to com back next year. greatings jef & myriam

Excellent location

The location was excellent right on the beach. The pool area is great not busy and lovely pool. The apartment is basic the back bedroom was very basic it didn't have a mirror it' backs onto the main road and is really noisy if you have the window open and to stuffy if window is closed. Would recommend they buy new pillows as they were awful. The balcony is great and gets the sun early evening which is great. On departure day had to vacate room at 10am but had evening flight we were told there was a locked room to leave our luggage but there was not we were also told there was a shower we could use this was the poolside shower which only had cold water.

Fantastic!

It was a perfect location, near Los Americas, Los Christinos and the beach. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets in Walking distance. The apartment was good for four persons with a lot of storage and nice decorated. I really reccommend this apartment.

a cosy apartment just a few meters from the beach

The apartment was clean and cosy. The location is very good - only 2 minutes to supermarket, vegetable/fruit shop, restaurants, beach. We (four adults and two children) stayed there for 2 weeks. The owners of the apartment have thought of small, but important things like sewing kit, shopping-trolley, beach towels and so on, which made us feel welcome. Personally, I enjoyed falling asleep and waking up with the saund of waves braking to the shore. Thanks to Jeniffers kind assistance and help, our stay in VeraMar was a good holiday. We are looking forward to come back there again. kind regards Rima
