RARE TROUVE !!! - une maison pour un grand groupe! Idéal pour les réunions de famille, retraites, personnel hors site, invités de mariage, vous l'appelez! Nous sommes à 15 minutes à l'est de Roseburg, sur une très belle partie de la rivière North Umpqua, le long de l'Umpqua Scenic Byway jusqu'aux lacs Diamond et Crater. C'est aussi un endroit parfait pour commencer votre visite du vignoble en pleine croissance de la région viticole d'Umpqua Valley! Whistlers Bend Park est à seulement 4 miles de là où vous trouverez l'un des meilleurs terrains de golf à disque de l'Amérique, une structure de jeu pour les enfants, un endroit sûr pour jouer dans la rivière, et une rampe de bateau.

La maison est chaleureuse et accueillante, avec vue sur la rivière de 3 des chambres confortables qui sont meublées avec des lits queen réglable et des rideaux pour la vie privée. Il y a 5 espaces communs, y compris la salle à manger, la chambre River avant de la cuisine, le salon, la grande salle familiale et le ping-pong dans le garage fini. Internet est disponible tout comme un nouveau téléviseur intelligent de 65 "pour votre tube préféré ou votre visionnage Netflix avec une petite bibliothèque de DVD. Birthday Getaway

From Roseburg and we rented this for my daughter to have friends stay at a fun place for her birthday. Each of my daughters brought two friends so it was my wife and six teenagers. They loved it. Huge house, nice kitchen, great view of the river and plenty of games.

What a wonderful place!

We were blessed to find such a beautiful place for our extra large family to spend Christmas. The house and amenities and grounds (and view!) exceeded our expectations. The host(s) and owner were so kind and helpful and we hope to someday stay again. Would highly recommend and give 20 stars out of 10.

Massive, beautiful house!

Overall we had an incredible stay at this place. The space is beautiful, the river is gorgeous, and Id happily stay again. The one thing that I either missed or wasnt explained beforehand is that the house is hooked up to river water with a UV filter rather than a standard sytem. They provided several gallons for us, but then said past that we would need to go into town and pay for filtered water. None of this was a big issue, however it would have been better to know beforehand so that if anyone was really uncomfortable with the river/UV system we could have easily brought some from home to save us the trip and extra money. The hosts were polite and kind, fielding questions quickly. I'd love to go back to this place sometime!

Great stay on the N. Umpqua

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO property, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the access to the North Umpqua River and the surrounding natural beauty. The location is simply perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the great outdoors. Whether we were hiking the nearby trails, fishing in the pristine waters of the North Umpqua, or just enjoying the serene landscapes, the convenience of having these stunning natural attractions so close by made our trip exceptional. The property itself was charming and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. This property's view is awesome!

The view is just one great piece of the property - the house is huge and spread out so a families can mingle but have privacy... Very nicely appointed, not too much deco which is how I like it! Several dining tables, great kitchen with everything you would need.... garage with ping pong table, and lots and lots of parking! Totally recommend this for larger gatherings...Enjoyed our stay very much!!

Healing & refreshing stay

Our family gathered in Roseburg for my sister’s funeral. We’re so thankful for this large and comfortable home to fit everyone. As soon as we arrived, we all felt like we could breathe again. The location and views are amazing. The natural beauty felt very healing. It was nice to be outside and take it all in. Inside was awesome common areas for us to connect. Then lots of beds for comfortable sleep. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked. We appreciated the personal touch of flowers and a card. All communication was smooth. Thank you!

Group of plein air painter/friends

We were greeted by a deer jumping over a fence as we drove up. Wild life is in abundance. Our group of six plein air artists saw deer, osprey, eagles, ground squirrels, ducks, and geese. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We rented the house because of the decks that stretch across the whole riverside of the house so we could set up our watercolors. We had lots of room, sunshine and the comfort of the house to make our stay memorable. Whistler’s Bend Park is close and we went there on two afternoons. We set up to paint the clear rushing water of the river there. We were welcomed on our first day by Iris who helped us feel at home. The house is so well equipped, we shared meals there rather than go out to restaurants. A great house for entertaining family and friends, I would think. We all want to go back again and a friend who lives down the river says we should come in the fall to see the vibrant color. Really just amazing; couldn’t be more perfect. Thank you.

Great stay for family time!

We loved our time at the property. It was a great set up- we put the younger kids on one side of the house for naps and early bedtime, and the big kids and adults still had multiple spaces to hang out. There were cozy blankets everywhere!! The kitchen was so well-equipped with tools and dishes, and the pantry was stocked with staples. We found it easy to cook and serve meals. There was plenty of seating for everyone. The baby supplies (high chair and travel crib) saved packing space. More to love: view was gorgeous, the check in and out procedures simple, and it felt like staying in a home in the best way possible!

The property was amazing plenty of room. we had child hood friends from California, and Washington, meet up and spend the weekend together. It was awesome. A high point for me was waking up early to see three Deer playing and chasing each other around the fence down by the river. It was cool to watch.

A lovely getaway for a family gathering

We enjoyed Thanksgiving with family from five states and had plenty of room to enjoy our time together. With 10 overnight guests we needed all six bedrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed and each room was used. We used yard space for outdoor games. The semi-open floor plan allowed for lots of group interactions. The ping-pong table was a great hit too. This is the perfect spot for what we needed.

Incredible Views

The photos online really don’t justify the actual view you have from any part of this home. The layout offers so much room for people of all ages to spread out and also gather. The kitchen isn’t stocked it is fully equipped with any pot, pan, appliance you could ever need. I was unpacking our food for three teenagers and four adults and was trying not to have it all sitting around when my husband said why don’t you use the walk in pantry and I was like wahh!!!! We went for the eclipse but cloudy, it didn’t matter though, this place is just so comfortable and relaxing I just stared out the window watching the river and all the beds and furniture is very comfy. Bathrooms are gorgeous and we’ll situated. So many bedrooms so all had their own. My husband hopes to come back for a DND guy weekend.

Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful experience at this home in Glide, Oregon. We stayed with our baby and some friends from college for a nearby wedding. The home was clean, spacious, and the views of the river were outstanding! We would definitely stay here again.

A rare find with nature abound

We were there for a retreat with plenty of time for meditation teachings, cooking, and soaking in nature and Whistlers River House was perfect. I was the organizer for a FULL house of folks. I collected feedback from others at the end of the 6-day-stay. Plenty of rooms, with light-filled windows, neatly kept kitchen with all cooking amenities, and well maintained bathrooms. The only part that did not meet our expectation was the "bunk-bed-room, with three beds - an addition to the garage: it was not dusted, cobwebs with flies and spiders on every windows in abundance, beds smelled musty with hair, and there was no air-condition. Folks who slept in that room were not happy at all. We had to vacuum the floors, windows. I would recommend either listing that as an added extension for desperate needs, or upgrading that room to match other bedrooms. WE washed a few towels which smelled bad, but nothing major. Ruth was excellent in her communication and delivered water and toilet paper promptly when we ran out. There was a small fear of forest fire about 4 miles away, and Ruth was super-communicative and kept us posted; fortunately all fear came to an end shortly. Overall, this is an oasis in Roseberg; walking down the river was absolutely lovely and watching all the eagles, deer family, goats, cows, hawks, heron, etc. was delightful!

Oregon get away

This house was amazing due to the fact that it was located so close to the river. Everyone really enjoyed it. It for sure made our oregon trip even better. Will definitely rent again in the future.

Shortly after the purchase, my dad had a stroke and during the extensive remodel, Dad passed away. Now I am helping mom to make this beautiful home available to you so that you can enjoy this beautiful part of Oregon. The Mighty and Scenic North Umpqua River is truly a sight to behold. Travel West to Roseburg to enjoy the Umpqua Valley Wine Country, or travel East to discover countless waterfalls, Diamond Lake Recreation Area, and the incomparable beauty of Crater Lake National Park.
