We Loved The Ocean View!

Beach access and pools were incredible. Onsite food options were tasty and easy esp when we didnt want to leave the GORGEOUS views of the water. Easy walk to so many restuarants, convenience stores, and night clubs. Would def stay here again!

Beautiful beaches and beautiful people

The absolute best location and beautiful beaches!! We wanted a very relaxing stay which is what we got. Our place had a kitchenette and the walk to Chederauri was 10 minutes, everything that we needed was close. The staff were all wonderful and made our stay that much better. We will definitely be back

Amazing view

Beds and pillows are not confortable and the TV doesn’t work. I suggest a smart TV wich is not a special amenties in 2025. The kitchen is not well equiped. The localisation and the resort are very good!The view is amazing!

The view was amazing. The only thing is that one of the elevator was always put of use so sometimes you had to wait longer cause it was small elevators.

2nd time here back to back. booked a shuttle only problem was shuttle was at another lterminal but we contacted the hotel and they contacted the driver so all went well. check in is 3. but you can change and enjoy the besch and pool. FYI the pool both pools are around 90 degrees . but fablous at night time. room had a kitchen. and we bought food worked well. elevators work well this trip. lots of entertainment with in walking distance and food. the red bus is 12 oesos and goes all around so its easy to use. would we come back.yup in a heart beat. cheers

So relaxing 😌

Beautiful location. Convenient to all of the necessities. Bus stops just a few blocks away. I recommend taking a bus to your destinations, you will save a lot of pesos. Minimum charge for a taxi is 250 pesos. The bus is 12 pesos. The Ocean Dream is a very nice place to spend a relaxing week or longer. The price is excellent for the location 👌.

I loved the location, the beach is amazing and the sea view from the balcony is spectacular. There are restaurants, night clubs and shops within walking distance. The bed mattress in the room is good. The kitchen disappointed me because the plates and cups are made of plastic, you cannot use them in the microwave. The state of the two sauce pans is not good, I didn’t use them. Also, the fact that they don’t take care of the curtains is not good at all as this is important. The building is not old but the metal fittings like the door handles in the kitchen cupboards are not well maintained therefore they are rusty as the salt in the atmosphere is very corrosive. Ignoring this issues, I had a nice stay.

Excellent location

Great view and location ，the vacation rental is actually a room in a hotel! The shower head in my room is clogged and it had little water comes out. After 3 days I figured out the reason and was able to clean and unclog it with cloth. the only problem is the slow checking in process

I found this hotel to be cheap. There was not even something to clean dishes with in the kitchen in our unit. The water fountain was restrictive which to me was a bit crazy. And I was told if I wanted to sit on the cushions on the beach I had to consume. I didn't want to consume as I was with family. And the music blaring songs with curse words at 9 am when there was only families on the beach was ridiculous. I wouldn't go back to this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel during the check in they told us room cleaning was not included so we did not worry about leaving our valuable stuff in sight. One day we returned from the beach and they had cleaned the room and my gold chain was not where I left it.They said they were going to investigate and we never heard from them.

The front desk said would give us a check out pass, because they said we lost 2 towels ,which they charged us $40, . We never took any towels out the room. Our flight was about to leave so we just paid it. O think i was a scam they are doing in order for the staff to pocket th3 money

Nice beach and Pool that over looks it!

This property is right on the beach and has its own little part of it. As well it has two nice pools that overlook the beach. The property itself is okay, the view from the room makes up for anything that is not okay. But the hotel itself needs to get their act together and get all of their elevators working. There is only one of three (we were aware of functional) and it was not really a problem until it came time to check out... We waited over 30 mintues for one of us to get in w/ 1/2 or our luggage and my husband gave up and took the rest down 4 FLIGHTS of stairs. As did the three couples before us. This is unacceptable. Also the 'ramp' that is wheel chair assessable is very steep and would be dangerous on your own and needs a strong person to push someone or anything heavy up it! There is a cool hostel next door w/ good food... Natura something or other. Strongly recommend their breakfast.

Was in town to celebrate my brothers 50th birthday he happens to live in Cancun but when we had him come over to visit he had to pay $40 bracelets just to be able to buy breakfast! Gate employee even followed me to my room to check if he was in our room even though I captor almost bet he saw him drive off the premises. When we checked out they made us wait so that they would check our room for damages which has never happened to me anywhere in the world! My 73 year old mother was with us and when they allowed us to leave we weren’t allowed to wait for our car to pick us up on the premises we were told to be picked up outside by the street! The place is clean and the premises are also clean but the staff needs an etiquette class asap!

Family vacations in Cancun

My family did 1 week in an all inclusive hotel and for the 2nd week, we rented this Condo to explore Cancun. We loved it! The condo was clean & spacious. The only downside was the shower head (4/10). Fewer Strong jets so spaced out that you can't rinse... The shower at the pool was way better. They came to try to fix it, but it didn't work. In our opinion, they had to change the entire head. (just a regular shower head could do the job). The condo is located in the Hotel Ocean Dream in the heart of the hotel zone. Everything is close by walk (shopping, convenient store, grocery store and restaurants. The bus is passing right in front of the hotel so you can go anywhere on Kukulcan blvd or downtown Cancun. We also took a ferry with Xcaret Group to go visit Isla Mujeres. Avoid taking Ultramar: there are a few hidden fees that are not published on their internet site. When You compare with Xcaret it looks cheaper, but it end up more expensive. When you purchase the Xcaret ferry round trip, they give you a free entrance ticket for the scenic Tower in Cancun. Also Xcaret group has a high standard so you get outstanding service. If it wasn't of the shower head, my family and I would recommand to anyone this condo, but I'm hesitant knowing they could have the same shower problem. It's unfortunate cause everything else was great. You have access to 2 pools, beach access. The restaurant is affordable and you have a great selection of food (mexican & international).

Great location, outdated furniture, need upgrade

Great location - walk distance to Coco Bongo area Outdated furniture and room - 1st room had a serious problem in the shower room. The Shower door was not closed because the top bar that holds the doors were not fixed with screws and it might fall to the shower room. It might cause serious injury. We took a shower and the bathroom floor was flooded. Asked for repair, it took a couple of hours. We were not able to use the bathroom for a couple of hours. And, we need to get a new room. 2nd room - Upgraded to larger room - separate bed room and living room. Even though furnitures were outdated, the room was clean and beautiful. However, an airconditioner in a bed room was not working. Asked for repair, however, couldn't be fixed. need to get a new room. So, I moved twice in 3nights and 4 days stay. There were 2 elevators, and one of them was not working during my stays. The capacitiy of the elevator was 3 people, and caused to wait fr 10-15 minutes to use the elevator. Swimming Pools were great, very clean and well maintained. This hotel needs upgrade in many ways.

Not what expected

Hotel and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Beachfront and pools were delightful. Now for the room itself. Yes, it had dishes and utensils and the tiniest pot and pan I've ever seen. Notice I said pot and pan, singular. We were given 2 bath towels. That's it. No hand towels, no face towels. Soap and shampoo dispensers were empty and not refilled upon weekly cleaning. The trash can provided was a bathroom size trash can. There is no way that that size can will hold a weeks worth of trash for 2 people. Again, only a weekly cleaning, not daily. There was no dish soap, sponge, dish towel, paper towels or any way to clean anything you might cook in or eat out of. No way to wipe off counter if anything spilled on it. I expected more since it was a VRBO. We chose a VRBO instead of a hotel room because we were staying for 14 nights. Thought it would lend itself more to being able to cook and eat in if we chose to do so and offer more amenities than a regular hotel room. Not at all. Another thing is the location of the room. Since it is on a corner of the hotel, beginning at 6 pm until 3 am EVERY night, you can expect to be kept awake with the thumping of music and yelling in microphones by DJ's from the night clubs located down the street. That is not the fault of the VRBO, but just another issue with the room. Spoke to other people staying at the hotel about the nightly noise, and they said they never heard it. Very disappointing stay.

To be honest very disappointed and felt i was being scammed. Starting with the property picture is not what it is we were given a different looking room. 2nd our room was not cleaned properly they had to send someone after waiting 6 hours to give us our room. We arrived early because our flight was earlier and they gave us a hard time to check in. Thirdly, elevators were slow and were not working properly security blamed sensors and they have no AC we suffocated while we were in them. We were 5 people they would take 5 towels and give us 4 in the room. The beds were not done daily and when done so they were done poorly my 3 year old can make his bed better. When in the pool, we ask for menu for food at the top pool they say you have to go to bottom pool to get food. They kept blaming being understaffed. Drinks were prohibited in the pool (they applied this rule on who they chose to and not everyone). If you ordered drinks from them they would have been fine. We ordered food and most times came cold. Getting back to the room, the AC was dripping water and wall under it was rusted and smelt like mold. The toilet flush buttons wouldn’t work properly and water was slow. We had to call someone to fix the shower head because it wasn’t flowing the water properly. Funny thing we came to a different hotel now for a fraction of what we paid and we did not have any of those issues. Some staff members were nice while others rude. Being the 24time for us in Cancun its bad.

Sehr laute Unterkunft

Durchgehend laute Musik nachts von den Clubs. Anderes Zimmer als auf den Fotos wir mussten 20 zahlen, weil wir angeblich eine Zimmerkarte verloren hatten.
