The Orchard Rooms are located about 40 meters away from the main house and are a haven of peace and tranquility. They offer something to suit every guest whether you are an individual or a group; each varies in style and functionality.

Honey Pippin has comfortable zip-link bed, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

This modern en-suite has both bath and shower facilities. Honey Pippin is a ground floor room, which is quiet and classy, it has an adjoining door with Gladstone.
Alongside a choice of en-suite rooms in the beautiful Georgian country house or self-catering cottages in the adjacent barn conversions, we have a fabulous restaurant serving lunch and dinner and hosting special events throughout the year.

(Please note - our restaurant usually takes bookings two weeks in advance so please do reserve your table quickly! There are no tables set aside for residents!)

The Grove really is a very special place steeped in history, which has been offering accommodation by the same family for 78 years. We like sharing it; and aim to provide you with the space and tranquility to genuinely slow down and relax. The heated indoor pool is ideal for children and adults alike. We are also close enough to Cromer to be able to wander into the town and to the cliffs and pier.

North Norfolk has plenty to offer from numerous stately homes, and National Trust properties, places of interest, bird reserves, to beautiful unspoilt beaches and market towns. There is also lots to do for children. Cromer has its own zoo and go-kart track, and North Norfolk as a whole ranges from boating on the Broads, to adventures in Bewilderwood.

For the golfers, The Royal Cromer Golf Club is about a par 5 away, so couldn't be more convenient.

It was absolutely wonderful

The whole complex is so lovely, we stayed in one of the orchard huts, which was very nice. It had everything you needed great tea assortment and the cafetiere and ground coffee was a lovely addition. Such a blissful stay, loads of nature around, birds singing it was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding 10/10 coffee was delcious too! And the staff were always super kind and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Grove on New Year’s Eve. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal followed by breakfast and afternoon tea the following day everything was first class and delicious. The staff are lovely and helpful and we enjoyed using the pool. Although we were only there for one night, the stay was so relaxing it felt like we’d been away longer! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you to Richard and his team for an amazing stay.

Overall really nice stay and would return.

The room was nice and spacious, the prosecco was a nice touch and the breakfast was lovely. We had drinks when we got back from dinner and the night porter was really lovely. Only small things was the shower curtain stuck to you when you had a shower. The room was a bit hot, maybe a fan would be good. The breakfast lady was a bit mardy in the morning.

We had mixed feelings about our stay as the food and staff were excellent but facilities poor.

We particularly enjoyed eating in the restaurant and generally the food was excellent both in terms of quality and choice. The staff were super too- friendly and very helpful. Proximity to the coast and town centre good.

Beautiful location but communication requires improvement

It is set in a beautiful location with pretty gardens and there’s a short woodland walk to the cliffs overlooking Cromer. We stayed in one of the Orchard rooms which were spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked being able to book swimming just for your group. Think communication needs to be improved however, we were meant to have chocolates and Prosecco in our room when we arrived but did not and we paid for late check out but at 1045 we were being told to leave. Breakfast was also cold.

A wonderful stay with exceptional food.

I loved the garden accommodation with the little table outside, looking over the beautiful garden. We also loved that there was ground coffee and a cafetiere in the room. The food was all so delicious, agreed by our large group who dined there. The staff were all friendly, accommodating and efficient. The location is excellent, not only for the town and the surrounding area but for our family members!

Setting lovely, no traffic noise, staff so friendly , we felt very relaxed The only niggle we had was breakfast . Was too fussy and more like main meals. Would of been nice to have been able to Have a smaller English fry breakfast or just bacon to eat with toast. A lovely place to enjoy a wedding

The most amazing experience!

The Grove is the most amazing hotel, unique in many ways. There is a special atmosphere created by the beautiful style of the place, the Orchard rooms where we stayed, cottages, out buildings and the gardens. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food excellent and the location so perfect out of Cromer itself but actually only twenty minutes from the beach etc via a lovely walk through woods and the cliff path. It was all absolutely perfect and we had wall to wall sunshine which helped!
