Set in a peaceful square opposite St. John’s Church, this beautifully restored miners' cottage is the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and togetherness.
A Home Designed for Relaxation & Connection
You'll feel at home when you step through the gated entrance. The enclosed garden offers a lawn area for play, a coal BBQ for outdoor dining, and a private hot tub—the ultimate place to unwind under the stars after a day of exploring.
Inside, the thoughtfully designed spaces invite you to make the most of your time together:
* Comfortable Bedrooms – Sleeps up to six with a king room, a flexible king/twin room, and a children’s bunk room (single on top, double on the bottom).
* Two Full Bathrooms – One with a relaxing rain-head shower, and another with a bathtub for a long soak.
* Cosy Snug – Reclining chairs, a log burner, and a Smart TV with all the channels—perfect for relaxing with a book or film.
* Bright & Airy Sunroom – A light-filled space with two comfy sofas, board games, puzzles, and a second Smart TV.
The French doors lead straight into the garden, making it the perfect spot for a games night or a lazy afternoon.

We started with Woodland Barn, drawn in by its breathtaking views over the River Severn. Then came Casita Lodge, a romantic retreat for two. Most recently, we poured our hearts into renovating 24 at St. John’s, a cottage designed for families, friends, and dog-friendly stays.

What we love most is seeing guests make memories—from soaking in the hot tub under the stars, to family film nights in the sunroom, or adventures in the Forest of Dean.
