Ce charmant chalet est situé sur un grand terrain d'angle à seulement un pâté de maisons et demi de la rue Main du centre-ville de Glen Arbour. Cela en fait une promenade facile vers les meilleurs magasins et restaurants de la région.

Les grandes fenêtres en palladium offrent une belle vue avec beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Un patio en dalles de pierre, un foyer et des terrasses spacieuses sont entièrement équipés pour un dîner confortable et divertissant en plein air. Une douche extérieure offre confort et plaisir après une journée bien remplie dans l'eau ou à la plage.

La rivière Crystal est située à quelques pas de là, avec accès à la pêche, au canoë et au kayak. Bien sûr, le lac Michigan est à cinq minutes à pied ou à quelques minutes en voiture du chalet, vous donnant accès à plusieurs sites de plage et à de magnifiques vues.

Beautiful!

We stayed for a long weekend in the fall. The house was so beautifully decorated, well cared for, clean, and comfortable. It's the perfect place to stay no matter the weather - very spacious and the surrounding area is wooded and peaceful yet still walking distance to town.

Perfect in every way!

The Northerness cottage was so nice. Spacious, on a quiet street within an easy stroll to Cherry Republic, Crystal River outfitters, shops, and an array of cafe choices. Walk to the beach of Lake Michigan or drive five minutes to Glen Haven for beautiful sand and gentle surf. The numerous and large rooms, dens, and patios offered comfortable space inside, and especially outdoors. The fire pit and outdoor shower were an extra treat. The affection of its owners shone in every detail of the property.

A wonderful stay at Northerness!

My family and I stayed at Northerness this past week and it was wonderful! Lots of sleeping space, a great patio, an outdoor shower, lots of parking space, beach towels and chairs for our use, and a short walk to the town of Glen Arbor and the beach! We enjoyed our time and highly recommend! Thank you!

Enjoyable Family Vacation

We rented this property in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we rented it again in July 2024 for a family vacation. The property is beautiful, surrounded by lots of trees and saw several deer walking past during our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 and roasting marshmallows around the firepit at night was one of our grandkids favorite activities. I learned when we arrived that they have made an addition to the house which was a great area for the family to gather. I hope they update the pictures on the site to showcase the beautiful updates they made! Working with Rick has always been easy and he answered any questions we had quickly. Our family is already looking forward to going back for another family vacation soon. I'd highly recommend this property if you're considering a trip to Glen Arbor!

Great Location!

The property is really terrific. Plenty of room for the 8 of us, both indoors and out. Enjoy all of our meals on the porch. Love the living room addition and the upgraded outdoor shower. Walk to everything in Glen Arbor.

Glen Arbor Gem

Beautiful cozy home a stones throw from downtown. Host provides everything you need to enjoy your stay. Really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck. We canoed the beautiful Crystal river, shopped downtown, and had a great time at Art's Tavern and Boondocks.

Glorious DT Glen Arbor in a lovely home

Clean and loaded with all the extras to make your stay perfect! Loved the petoskey stone / up north decor, too.The location was great for biking, beaching, dune climbing, kayaking, and more. Highly recommend this gem of a home.

Beautiful town, beautiful place

I loved our stay at Northerness Cottage! The place itself is darling and cozy, with lots of space on the deck for meals and hanging out, and so much sleeping space! The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the space was clean and well-stocked. I highly recommend the town as well - it is a short walk to the cutest restaurants. I had the best time. My group of girlfriends is already is talking about when we can come back!

Wow! What a stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location, surroundings, and everything about the home was spectacular! We were lucky enough to enjoy the bonfire and outdoor space on our first night, and then the indoor fireplace the following nights. We made use of each meticulously designed space in the warm and inviting home. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a perfect environment for our family vacation!

Perfect Location!

My sisters and I took our mom to northern Michigan for a color tour. Glen Arbor was the idea location to enjoy all that M22 has to offer. This home was amazing. We really felt like they opened their actual home to us. The decor was high end and comfortable. We got so many decorating ideas! The outdoor spaces were vast and so fun. Watching the neighborhood wildlife was such a treat. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our mom slept on the porch and said she wanted to take the bed home with her! This home was walking distance to everything. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Fantastic!

My husband and I got married on Glen Haven Beach. This cabin housed our family but we were also able to host our parents who came up for the ceremony. This place exceeded our expectations on so many levels. The attention to detail and having all of the things we could have needed and more saved us a few times. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Lovely, wooded spot

Perfect layout for a week stay! Lots of beach towels and bikes in the garage. Loved the artwork/decor, fire pit and front decks. Slept well in this quiet neighborhood. Construction noise during the day, but that's temporary. Coffee maker is pod style or french press, just fyi. Tub spout in downstairs bath is the method for making the shower work, but it's a bit confusing if unfamiliar with this style. It's obvious the water handle has taken a few rough tugs. Toilet back up was addressed immediately by the responsive property owner. Bring extra TP btw. Note to elderly or handicapped, there are steep stairs to get into house from inside garage and a few stairs also from the outside deck. Outside shower is good for after a day out and about, but not ideal for daily needs.

Peaceful neighborhood

Nice place to stay for a week close to everything in Glen Arbor. Owners had cottage fully equipped with everything you need plus!!! They truly thought of everything! Really enjoyed time with family in one of our favorite areas!

While living in Boston we chose this area for our destination wedding to share our love for Michigan with family and friends from all over. Spending summer vacations and raising 2 children on Lake Michigan we finally found the perfect slice of heaven in Glen Arbor and called it Northeness. We hope you will enjoy our home and this beautiful area as much as we have.
