Cranford House consists of a kitchen with oven and hob, a dining room for fourteen, and a sitting room with Smart TV. On the ground floor, there is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. On the first floor, there is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) with an en-suite shower room, a double, and a twin. On the second floor, there is a king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) with an en-suite shower room, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a bathroom. Outside, there is a patio garden with furniture and hot tub, plus off-road parking for two cars a short walk away, plus roadside parking. Within 0.3 miles or less you will find a shop, a pub, and a river, and within 0.7 miles, a lake, and please note this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved pet is welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Escape to the countryside of Cumbria with a stay at the wonderful Cranford House. Please note: bookings over the Christmas and New Year period must be a minimum of 4 nights and the owner cannot accommodate check in on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day

Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
