Ideally located for convenience and excitement, this well-designed
studio apartment on Hope Street is the perfect temporary home for
business travellers or holidaymakers wanting to be in the action of the
bustling City Centre.

This stylish, modern apartment is equipped with all the amenities
necessary for a comfortable self-catering experience. Perfectly
designed for two guests, this space offers a compact yet efficient
layout. It includes a fully equipped kitchen for convenience, a dining
table that also serves as a workspace, an additional smaller workspace,
and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV for your entertainment. This stylish
loft-style apartment includes a queen bed in the main area, with an
additional queen bed in the loft available upon request. The loft is
primarily designed for aesthetic appeal, making it an inviting option
for one child aged 6 to 12. The main sleeping area is thoughtfully
arranged to ensure a comfortable experience for two adult guests. The
bathroom features a shower, toilet and single basin in a crisp white
aesthetic. A large floor window adds something special, providing
stunning views of the city and plenty of natural light in the day.

When you’re ready to explore, the apartment is situated a short
distance from a MyCiTi bus stop for easy travelling to surrounding
areas, including Sea Point or Bloubergstrand. Alternatively, guests
will have easy access to explore the delights and hidden attractions of
the City Centre at their leisure that include an assortment of local
and international cuisines, the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Cape Town
Comedy Club.

The Property Manager will arrange a check in time with guests to meet at the property, which is situated at 1 Hope Street, 97, Cape Town City Centre

Nice Apartment in a devastated area

I was looking forward to staying in this Vrbo because I once lived in an another apartment in the same building, 15 years ago. So, I’m familiar with the neighborhood and enjoyed living there, once. However, I did have the following problems with this booking: 1. It is not a direct booking. You are obliged to pay separately from Vrbo, which feels awkward and essentially inappropriate…. At least inconvenient, and perhaps a violation of policy. 2. There are homeless encampments surrounding the property on all sides, which makes it very unpleasant to walk in any direction. It feels dirty and unsafe. This really greatly reduces the attractiveness of this listing. 3. Related to the above, the neighborhood is full of an excessive amount of rubbish, which blows around in the wind. This, combined with the shouting and other noise from the homeless, makes for a very distracting and unpleasant nights sleeping in this apartment. All in all, the owners have done nice things with the flat itself (although the space is too dark, too much furniture and too little lighting) but this is all overshadowed by the unpleasantness of the surroundings.
