Thanckes Lodge - 3 Bedroom, 6 Sleeper Bungalow
This rural, quaint, 3 bedroom detached lodge set out over one floor in an elevated position looking out over the sea, is situated on the drive just above 'The Guillemot' group of houses.
Entry to Thanckes Lodge is up 3 little steps and through the front door on the left of the property. This leads to a little entrance hall where you are able to hang your coats and leave your shoes. Straight in front of you is the utility cupboard, which holds the hoover, iron, ironing board, mop and broom. The entrance to the bright and well equipped kitchen is to the right of the entrance hall. This cosy room with breakfast nook has a large window extending along the full length to show off the view and let the sunlight in to brightening and warm the whole area, making it the perfect place to enjoy an early morning coffee. In here you will find all the necessary appliances – fridge/freezer, microwave oven, undercounter oven, hob, slimline dishwasher - and all the crockery and cutlery needed for your stay. This includes the washer/dryer machine under the sink counter.
The open plan kitchen leads into the large living room fitted with a smart tv and comfortable settees and sofas, there are also board games and books provided for your leisure. The dining area is situated in front of the double sliding glass doors that lead out onto the balcony. The balcony has tables and chairs under an overhanging roof enabling you to take in the amazing sea views and coastal air during your stay.
Towards the back of the lodge are the 3 bedrooms. The entrance to Bedroom two is right opposite the living area with a small double bed and blinded windows on the far wall. Bedroom one, the master bedroom, with TV and freeview box, is to the right with a zip-n-link bed which can either be made up as a double or 2 singles and then bedroom three with twin beds is the last bedroom in the property. Opposite the master bedroom is the bathroom with, a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet. The design of the bedrooms and beds means that it can comfortably accommodate between 4 and 6 people.
Guests can book into our Spa (Sauna and Steam Room) facilities. This is free for all our guests and can be booked in 1 hour time slots, making it private for your use during that time.
Please note - In order to keep the cost of booking down, we no longer require an upfront damage deposit payment of £250 for any of our properties. Instead, the card details used to make the booking are securely stored with our payment provider and in the unlikely event of needing to make a claim for damages or excess cleaning, we will notify you before deducting the amount from your registered card. We're also pleased inform you that we are able to provide flexible payment options that suit you to pay the balance of your booking. Just send us a message after placing your booking and we'll be happy to set this up for you.
