Situated above Robin Hood's Bay in the North York Moors National Park, this charming cottage is hidden away in the village of Fylingthorpe and invites families or groups of friends with the dogs in tow for a memorable getaway together. Fylingthorpe offers the comforts of a traditional pub and a convenient village shop just metres from the door, while just over half a mile away, the delights of Robin Hood’s Bay await. This charming fishing village is like a scene from a postcard thanks to its winding streets busy with fishermen’s cottages and local restaurants, pubs, and shops. Enjoy days on the beach here, nipping off to buy ice creams, visiting the amusements, and enjoying other classic seaside activities. Lovers of the outdoors are spoiled with picturesque walking and cycling trails leading deep into the North York Moors or along the coast, while nearby towns with heaps of character include Whitby (6 miles) and Scarborough (15 miles)
Hidden amidst serene surroundings and tucked away from plain sight, this delightful, three-bedroom cottage offers enchanting views and sits adjacent to a peaceful creek. Stepping through the doors, you're immediately welcomed by the restored, original flooring, filled with character. To the left, a utility area awaits, perfect for hanging coats and catering to muddy paws, accompanied by a convenient WC. Directly ahead lies the inviting lounge area, wonderfully decorated, and thoughtfully furnished to enhance comfort. A wood burner sets the stage for warm evenings, while a Smart TV provides entertainment against the backdrop of garden views. To the right, you'll find the kitchen/dining room, restored with charming, quirky finishes. Stone fascia over the oven/hob adds character to the well-equipped kitchen, complemented by a dining table with two benches and two chairs, all overlooking the garden.
