This spectacular 2 bedroom duplex apartment offers incredible views of the town and the Monchique mountains beyond.
The large private roof terrace is the perfect spot to sit and take in the amazing views and enjoy a meal cooked in the well equipped kitchen. In the local supermarkets within walking distance you will find all the fresh ingredients you need to cook up a storm. There are 2 cosy bedrooms on the upstairs floor giving ample space and privacy.
The interior of the apartment is modern and bright with huge windows, giving it an airy, spacious feel.
It's only a short walk to the old town centre, where you can explore the narrow streets and enjoy a drink in a quaint cafe. The famous beach of Praia da Rocha is just a short drive away.
This apartment is a perfect base for those looking for modern comfort close to all of the attractions the Algarve has to offer.
** PLEASE NOTE that there is some ongoing construction in the Boa Vista Bayview area. The disruption is minimal, but some noise can happen**

## Neighborhood
Portimão is a lively and historic beach town. You can find several gorgeous beaches, bars, restaurants and shops, and Portuguese folklore in the small streets of the old town in abundance. When you're done relaxing in the sun, you can choose from many activities in the area, like watersports, boating, hiking (mountain biking), and golfing, at one of the many golf resorts in the area. There is a modern shopping center available as well. The apartment is 40min away from the Faro airport
If you want to stay local there are an abundance of pastelarias and local restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. The famous beach of Praia da Rocha is less than 15 minutes drive away and the quaint old town is also just a short walk from the apartment.
You have the very popular Slide and Splash park just a 15-minute drive away in Lagoa. Zoomarine is also easily accessible just a 30 minute drive away.
## Transit
There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended
