For those seeking a little friendly competition, the house has game equipment, setting the stage for fun family tournaments. Inside, the home is well equipped making it easy to prepare and enjoy family meals together. The dining table comfortably seats eight adults and enjoys garden views. There are six delightful bedrooms; ground floor with a kingsize double bedroom with zip and linked beds offering flexibility to be changed into two single beds (please request at time of booking) and a bunk bedded room, and a further four bedrooms on the first floor; two kingsize bedrooms both boasting en-suite shower rooms, and two twin bedded rooms.
The outdoor area is a highlight, featuring a charming private lake within its grounds, complete with a jetty. This serene spot invites you to take leisurely walks around its perimeter, enjoy a peaceful moment sunbathing, or revel in the beauty of nature. Riverside offers a perfect balance, allowing you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life, while still being within a short drive of local amenities and attractions. Whether you’re exploring the quaint streets of nearby towns, embarking on riverside walks, or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the property itself. Birdwatching, walking, cycling opportunities, or even a spot of fishing, are all available.
A 30-minute drive is Tydd St Giles Country and Golf Club where day passes can be purchased to enjoy the clubhouse with restaurant, leisure club and golf course (booking is advisable). Ely a market town with shops, eateries its majestic cathedral, and the University City of Cambridge, enjoy a punt on the River Cam, with plenty of shops and eateries to enjoy. The market towns of March, 10 minutes drive and Wisbech, are 25 minutes for shops, supermarkets, plenty of eateries and many other leisure facilities.
