We loved our stay here! The room was the perfect size for an extended weekend for the two of us, and we loved having the deck right outside the door with some very nice views! It's an It's a very peaceful and quiet setting in a nice neighborhood. Edwin was very kind and accommodating, as well as super helpful with advice on things to do in the area and how to get around. He and his wife made our stay very easy and pleasant. We hope to go back soon!

Nice Place in Pacifica

This place had an excellent queen bed, plenty of towels, a working fireplace, and available movies for free. The caretaker and his dog are very friendly. If you want something a little different than a standard motel room I think you will like this place. The outside environment was very cool even in the summer. Bring a jacket. Some driving may be necessary to find restaurants but some are within walking distance.

There is nothing I can nip pick about. Edwin even allowed us a late checkout that we eventually did not need. He is accomodating & very nice host. The apt. is exceptionally clean.

The suite is cozy, clean, and beyond tranquil. If you’re going to stay in the Bay Area, Pacifica is the way to go- especially the valley, where this rental is located. We very much enjoyed waking up to the beautiful valley views, complete with lush landscaping and natural wildlife. I could sit on the porch and watch those hummingbirds all day! The suite was the best place to unwind after long days in the city. Edwin (the host) could not have been more accommodating. We were able to come and go as we pleased, thanks to the private access. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to visit again.

Amazing host

The property fits exactly the description, it is very cozy, easily accessible, in a quiet and well-kept neighborhood. Excellent view (for those who like nature), and all the listed amenities work perfectly. We loved it. The host is an extremely attentive, generous and discreet person, accessible at all times, and informed about the attractions of the area. Other people occasionally in charge of the property were also very attentive and friendly. Our stay was great, and we would love to enjoy the place again, which I totally recommend. In particular, we were very grateful and impressed by the kindness and warm welcome of the owner.

Peaceful, clean, perfect place!

My fiance and I were looking for a place to stay for 2 nights just outside of San Francisco. Our original plan was to explore San Fran for 2 days, but in finding this neat, surf town of Pacifica, we ended up only in San Fran for 1 day and explored Pacifica for our last day of vacation. Edwin's home is beautifully decorated and CLEAN. We loved having a deck to walk out on in the mornings and he provided coffee, tea, a mini fridge and a few other items to make us feel like his home was our home. HIGHLY recommend this property!

Nice Place, Nice Location, Perfectly Clean and Comfy

The accommodations, location, and owner (Edwin), were all very nice. Perfectly clean room, spacious shower, comfortable bed. Everything was perfect, until the local electric company shut the power to about 2 million customers, us included. (this was due to wildfires in the San Francisco area....no fault at all to Edwin or his house). The power was shut on our 2nd day, at which point we relocated to San Francisco, where power had not been shut off. Edwin graciously refunded the money for the remaining days of our trip. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Quiet and comfortable. Great location

Edwin was a warm and welcoming guest that made us feel at home. He checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything and was very easy to communicate with. The room was quiet and cozy and very comfortable. The location is superb! Not far from downtown or the beach or the coast highway.

Quiet Quaint Sufficient Comfortable Bed

Tiny but does the job. Great bathroom. Plenty of towels and hot water. Kitchenette could use improvement. Lots of appliances but you can only use one appliance at a time. Lots of power strips. No counter space to prepare meals. No sink. Nowhere to eat. TV trays would have been helpful. Sat on the floor at small coffe table. It was too cold to eat outside. Outside furniture could have been cleaned to make more inviting. Backyard is gorgeous; lots of pines. Bed was very comfortable. Brody the dog welcomed us and was never a problem. Sarah who was taking care of things made sure we had everything we needed. Very sweet.

Great Place

Close to all the cool places to eat and great beaches. We were even close enough to go to the mall to charge the car. Great amenities including coffee, a fridge, and microwave. Better then a hotel and cute as a button. The toilet was amazing!! Host was kind and helpful. Will stay here again.

Very comfortable in Pacifica

My adult daughter and I stayed here while visiting Pacifica. The rental was very comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and towels. Everything we needed was included. The kitchenette was well stocked with teas and coffees in addition to the basic appliances. The issues we had were that the refrigerator was not working. It was stuck on the highest setting causing our farm market produce to freeze :( , and we would have preferred the tv to have been cable. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Edwin the owner had great communication. It was about a 25 minute drive to downtown San Francisco. We would stay here again if we return to Pacifica.

The address was hard to find given the odd ordering of the houses' addresses on the cul-de-sac. Called the host. No response. Comfortable bed and sofa. Nice bathroom remodel. The "kitchenette" was hidden behind some curtains in the photo. It was actually a closet with hangers right above a mini-microwave and refrigerator that was accessible if on our knees using a flashlight to see the buttons. Food prep had to be done on the bathroom counter as the kitchenette had none. Not enough power wall outlets so there were a lot of extension cords with multi-plugs on each for appliances. The fire extinguisher was on the floor next to the mini-frig. The instructions to turn on the TV didn't work. Called the host who showed up and he couldn't make it work so he left to get his password to log on. He got it to work. He was a very nice man.

I am a retired corporate video producer. I've lived in Pacifica since 1973 and love it so much I can't seem to leave. I'd like to share this special place with you if you come and visit. I teach photography classes at the Sanchez art center and stay busy exploring our beautiful coast line. My hobbies include kayaking and stand up paddle boarding as well as tennis and bike riding.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The room I'm renting is part of the main house but has its own private entrance as well as bathroom with walk-in shower and bidet. It feels like you have your own place because of that. You will have access to the deck and an eating and sitting area to enjoy sipping coffee in the morning or just sitting to read. The location is in the Sunbelt of Pacifica so it is much warmer than other areas of Pacifica. It is quiet and serene surrounded by redwoods and Pine trees. It is a great place to relax in a great location for hiking and outdoor activities.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Great price for the quality. Plenty of free parking in front of the house, the location is walking distance to the Gem of Pacifica, the San Pedro Valley Park with miles of hiking trails, visitor center, birding and wildlife viewing. Beaches and surfing 5 min. from the house. The house is in the sunbelt of Pacifica, it is much warmer than other parts of Pacifica. Peaceful and quiet. Welcome!
