Historic Lake Rosseau - Pour toute la famille

Propriété rénovée toute l'année de 6 chambres avec exposition sud et une pente douce vers le lac. Sortie de la cuisine à un grand porche blindé et terrasse enveloppante. Il y a un salon, salle familiale, salle à manger et salle de bain complète au premier étage et buanderie au sous-sol. Le deuxième niveau comprend 5 grandes chambres (toutes des lits queen size) et une salle de bain complète. Le dernier étage est un loft grand ouvert parfait pour des dortoirs supplémentaires (lit queen size) pour les grands groupes ou un endroit pour les enfants à jouer. Le chalet se trouve sur un terrain plat et a un rivage sablonneux (l'entrée douce est parfaite pour les enfants). Il y a une grande aire de feu de camp avec plusieurs chaises muskoka et deux entrées séparées offrant beaucoup de stationnement pour les grands groupes. Cette propriété fait partie du Thorel House Resort d'origine et capte toujours tout son charme et son caractère historiques.

Il y a une télévision dans la salle familiale avec satellite ainsi qu'une playstation / lecteur dvd et une collection de films / jeux vidéo. Il y a une deuxième télévision dans le loft équipée d'un lecteur DVD - un endroit parfait pour que les enfants regardent un film. La location comprend l'utilisation de hobie cat, canoë, plateforme de bain, gilets de sauvetage et jouets de sable. Il y a aussi un berceau dans l'une des chambres et une chaise haute disponible pour utilisation, si nécessaire. Il y a aussi un barbecue à disposition.

Le chalet est idéalement situé juste en bas de la route (5 min en voiture) de SWS Marina, JW Marriott Rosseau Resort & Spa et Cleveland House Resort. SWS Marina propose des locations de bateaux et de motomarines et abrite la boulangerie d'Abbey et un certain nombre de boutiques éphémères. Il y a aussi un sentier pédestre reliant la marina à Cleveland House - c'est une belle promenade avec une glace de la boulangerie d'Abbey! Également juste en bas de la rue (5 min en voiture) est un golf de classe mondiale à The Rock, un parcours conçu par Nick Faldo.

Family Cottage Weekend

We had the best weekend at this property. the cottage was beautiful and so well appointed, we could not have wished for anything more. lots of toys for the kids, the beach was nice and shallow and the dock perfect to relax on. We will certainly come back !

Beautiful lakefront oasis

I stayed here with my husband and family at the end of May/beginning of June and could not have had a better experience! The property was immaculate, the dock and view of the lake were beautiful, and it truly felt like paradise there. Brian was very easy to communicate with and we could tell the property was well loved and cared for. My family and I will 100% be coming back to this place again and we encourage everyone to see the magic for themselves!

Wonderful place for a cottage getaway

We had an amazing weekend getaway with our family of 12. The place is clean, well equipped, and had plenty of indoor or and outdoor activities to keep everyone busy. We loved our stay and would love to visit again. Brian was very kind and generous, he was also very quick to respond to our questions. I highly recommend this cottage for your next family vacation.

The perfect getaway for six women of a certain age

It was clean, spacious, cozy and very well equipped with all the amenities. We each had our own bedroom to retreat to when we needed to, away from the others on the lovely dock or on the beautiful deck. The kitchen allows for lots of cooking, the tv room is comfortable and the dining room is perfect for larger gatherings. The grounds are well cared for and easily accessible. It was a memorable and fun time.

Great time

We had a great time at the cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with lots of space and great location. We unfortunately didn't have the best weather, but were still able to get outdoors and enjoy the water and outdooora at times. The cottage has all the amenities you will need. Hopefully one day we will be able to return.

Perfect cottage for a large family vacation

A perfect cottage for a large family. We were 11 adults aged 23 to 83. We were all able to find our own space if we wanted some privacy because the layout of the cottage. The shallow water made it easy to play water games and the fire pit was perfect for evening gatherings. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Getaway

Brian’s cottage was absolutely perfect for myself and some friends to get away for the weekend. It’s exactly as listed, the view is breathtaking. It’s such a peaceful area with lots of activities to do. Brian always replied in a timely manner, and as a bonus we were pleasantly greeted by a bottle of wine and a lovely note. I would highly recommend staying at this cottage. You will not be disappointed!

An amazing stay at a beautiful, family friendly place!

We had a wonderful stay at Brian's cottage. It was in a perfect location with many family friendly activities for all ages including a playground, sandy beach, a paddle board, canoe and magic carpet mat! We all had a great time and look forward to coming again. Brian was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. 10/10 would recommend!

Great stay

Great cottage for my wife, myself and our 3 year old son. Place was clean and had plenty of kids toys. The outside property and shallow water around the dock gave us piece of mind for our little guy playing outside. Overall great trip and hope to be back again soon. Thanks for letting us stay here.

Amazing weekend

Spent 4 days at the cottage with friends. Brian, the host, was very easy to deal with. Great location for swimming, boating and fishing. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room a for group of 8 adults. I would highly recommend this location to anyone that asked.

brian was one of the most reliable and helpful host i’ve had so far, he helped us with everything we needed and made our stay one to remember, the cottage itself was very well kept and homey, it had everything we needed and nothing less, will definitely be returning and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a family friendly place to kick back and relax and get away!

Beautiful

We enjoyed the cottage very much. We especially likes the fact that there was plenty of seating for all of us (6 adults). The dining room was large as well & could seat 8-10 people comfortably. The view of Lake Rosseau is spectacular. We enjoyed the outside as much as the inside. Again, lots of places to sit & relax & enjoy the view.

Perfect Family Vacation

Ideal for all ages. The shallow water in the large sandy bay is great for small children and for adults alike. The property provides all the amenities required for a fabulous holiday including many water "toys" (including Hobie Cat), shade with the umbrellas on the deck, the playground set with slide and swings, a well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets. Cottage experience highlights included "dock time" (on the dock and in the water) and family meals on the deck and in the Muskoka room. Brian is a gracious and helpful host.

Lovely lake front cottage.

Beautiful lake and cottage. The lake front cottage is beautifully situated with breath taking views in a quiet neighbourhood. The cottage has an open and an enclosed deck and a dock on the lake. There are plenty of outdoor equipment, 2 large BBQs, plenty of lounge chairs with large umbrellas on the dock with non-motorized activities. There are dining tables and chairs on the open and enclosed decks. The owner, Brian, has thought of everything to provide an enjoyable family stay. Inside the cottage was like the home away from home with all you need and want with games and an attic well equipped for kids stay. Cottage is located close by to stores, restaurants and trails. Also, don’t miss the sun set view from the Huckleberry Rock Lookout, which is less than half hour drive away. Give time to climb the rock as the climb is steep but it is worth the climb.
