Paradis scandinave au milieu de nulle part

Little Lazy Lodge is a family owned Lodge+Venue. This property used to have a one bedroom shack on it that we would all pile into every November. We didn't get a whole lot of hunting done but so many of our fondest memories were made on this property; playing cards, exploring the land, cooking up delicious meal, playing jokes on each other, etc. When it burned down in 2014 we knew we wanted/HAD! to rebuild and this time we were going big! My dad and I started our labor of love project in late 2014 and finished in early 2018. We took the opportunity of building the lodge ourselves so I could learn from the 50+ years of carpentry experience my Dad has while being able to be certain of quality and design. We all have our distinct skills and qualities that allowed for the perfect team project. My dad (Tony) was lead carpenter; at 70 years old he is still is out-working me :) I (Ashley) was the apprentice/designer, my sister (Megan) was the decorator/interior designer, my mom (Marcy) was camp cook and fed all helpers and crew filling the house with incredibly delicious smells and fun and my other sister (Erin) would facetime every few days from Lake Tahoe, California and check on progress so we would tease that she was our "support line" We all had a hand in completing Little Lazy Lodge (Also there is a venue on property) and we really couldn't be more excited and proud to share this amazing lodge and all that the North county has to offer; hiking, biking, private trails used for snowmobile/ATV/cross country skiing/etc, stillness and solitude and endless wilderness all while in the comfort of a luxury lodge that provides the perfect setting for family and friends to make memories that will last a lifetime.
