Paisible lac-Front Maison - Jardin clos

Situé directement sur le lac de diamant, cette maison 3BR / 2BA a une cour clôturée, 70 'quai, et des lits pour 9. Situé sur le côté ouest du lac, avec un bluff derrière elle quitte le calme de l'eau, même sur une journée venteuse.
Diamond Lake est le plus grand lac intérieur dans le sud ouest du Michigan (il a un ferry de voiture sur une île résidentielle). Diamond Lake est l'idéal du ski nautique, la pêche, ou lac de plaisance, avec beaucoup de rivage pour visiter la ville intéressante par bateau. Et parce qu'il est si grand, il semble rarement bondé avec des bateaux, même les week-ends d'été.

Cette 3BR / 2Bath (douche uniquement) la maison est à 2 heures de Chicago, à 30 minutes de South Bend, et à 1 heure de Kalamazoo. MBR a une reine coussin, deuxième BR a 2 lits jumeaux, troisième BR a un lit double et un lit gigogne journée avec, en plus d'une canapé-lit dans la grande salle. Great Room a 14 'Redwood planche plafond cathédrale, cheminée et AC unité à une extrémité, une cuisine à l'autre. Planchers de bois franc partout. Sunporch face au lac, avec wrap-around pont au-delà.

Il ya un patio et «bac à sable» (pour les incendies de soleil / Bon) par le lac. Chambre pour vollyball entre la maison et le lac. Sandy bas sur la poitrine profonde; accueil pour 3 bateaux. Accueil est pas accessible en fauteuil roulant. Tournez-clé meublé, y compris les draps, barbecue, etc. Plusieurs terrains de golf dans les 15 minutes (2 à moins de 2 miles).

Love the location, house was just right. Loved the fenced in yard for the dogs. Loved watching the sun come up over the lake while enjoying our coffee. So relaxing.

Lovely lake house.
The house and yard were perfect for our needs. The house had everything we needed and my pups loved the yard. Beware of the steps. Unpacking and packing is a little bit like an olympic sport ;) the steps down to the cottage.

Fun Family Vacation on the Lake!
The home worked great for our ten person, three family group. ( Grandparents, kids, and grandchildren) It had all necessary amenities to make our stay enjoyable. The yard and lakefront were perfect! The whole family enjoyed boating, swimming, bon fires, and playing in the sandy beach. We would definitely like to return.

Comfortable and quaint. Everyone enjoyed being there. Just be sure you can manage steps down to the house. Nice yard for kids and dogs to play in. If you want to take a boat ride, bring your own boat or rent one at the marina nearby.

Wonderful Lake View and Awesome Cottage!
We spent two weeks and enjoyed every single day! The cottage was perfect for us. Our dogs had the best time in the fenced in yard. The cottage had most everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Diamond Lake
Great piece of property and nice location on the lake. Nice sandy little beach and large yard which was wonderful. We had a great time! House is a definitely a cottage inside which is cool, wonderful A/C for those hot days. The only thing that would have made it better was a bit of dusting and updating the inside to help those of us who had allergies, but hey, it’s the lake! We went outside most of the time anyway.

The photos didn't do justice to this wonderful lakefront house. Fully furnished with modern appliances including modern washer/dryer and dishwasher. Down side was the pet fur on the furniture.

April hiking trip
Very spacious. Great setting on large, quiet lake. Good response from property manager. (Some expected soap products were not available when we arrived but soon provided by property mgr.) Comfortable bed. Previous occupants did a terrible job of washing the dishes. (For example, there was grit inside coffee cups.) There was food debris in silverware drawer and on some of the kitchen cabinet shelves.

Very Relaxing and Quiet
Great 3 day getaway. Very nice people at the near by Marina offered to let us use the fishing boat for free for the remainder of our stay aftter he first 2 days of rental, unfortunately we were leaving the next day. Cottage was cozy and all amenities we needed were provided. Only advice would be to use a little less scented room fresheners. Some rooms had 2-3 and was very strong. Thanks David!

Perfect for family. Exceeded expectations.
Texans visiting daughter in Michigan. The house was cozy and perfect for our needs for our stay. Had everything we needed for cooking/ cleaning already in the house. My son was immediately ecstatic about the yard and of course the lake with the little beach area. The chilly water didn’t deter him from walking around gathering shells. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and enjoying the changing colors. It’s an older house. So things don’t look brand new. But that adds to the charm of the home for me. I messaged back and forth with the owner, not even thinking I should message with the property manager. And despite him dealing with the hurricane down in Florida, he responded to me each time. I can’t recommend this property enough. Or thank the owner enough. The whole experience was perfect.

October Stay
Not fancy, but very quaint, clean and comfortable older cabinish feel. Kitchen very accommodating. Just bring your eats. Bedrooms are nice size and comfortable. Sun porch is comfortable for watching the sun come up or just to sit and watch activity on the lake. Fenced yard is bonus for your fur baby or little humans. Loved sitting by the fire at night on the lake shore watching the moon rise. It shined on the lake waters as if the lake was on stage. Beautiful! Thank you Dave for sharing your piece of tranquility!

This cottage is awesome!
We love this cottage. I hate to give such a glowing review because then we will have to share! David the owner is very easy to work with. He answers all emails quickly which is nice. It is very clean, cozy, comfortable and has everything you could ask for. Love the fenced yard. The lake is clean and has a huge yard . Description is accurate. would recommend for sure. We enjoyed the Zeke's restaurant and in Three Rivers Fisher's Lake Inn. You will not be disappointed int his rental. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks David.

Wonderful Rental!
We had an awesome time in this rental. We stayed in early May, and although the weather wasn't all that warm (or sunny), it didn't dampen our time. The home is fully stocked with everything, and anything, you'd need for a wonderful stay (games, fishing equipment, yard chairs by the dozen, a fire pit, a great pier for fishing, and so much more . The yard is large and spacious and the fenced yard was a HUGE bonus because we were traveling with our dog. We rented a pontoon one day and the marina is walking distance away and the pontoon was in tip-top shape. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you'll need (minus food), but the appliances (including the grill) are in fine working order. Local food shopping is limited so plan accordingly and bring your items as you see fit. We brought many frozen items (which worked as ice on our travels) and then ate them through the week as needed. There are plenty of small but tasty food joints in the area which we enjoyed as well. Close to forest preserves, casinos, antiquing, and many of Michigan's quaint lake towns. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a great location and a very reasonable price!

Comfortable, Functional, and Great Amenities!!! Awesome All-Sports Lake, too!!!
Since 2001 we've rented this home approximately 10-12 times. We've made a LOT of great memories here, and we LOVE Diamond Lake (1,000+ acres). The home suits our family perfectly, as it would most any family. When our kids were little, the fence was ideal as we'd put padlocks on the gates so they could play without us having to constantly watch them, and we knew they were safe (there's a 2nd fenced area for pets, too). We appreciated 2 Full Baths, the appliances (especially the Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer), not having to haul bed linens and towels, the Sunroom, the Deck, Gas Grill and Bonfire Pit. You can put your boat in at the marina and drive it over for the week, or simply enjoy fishing off the pier. Although there are quite a few steps to get down to the house, once there, it's great to simply be able to walk right out to the water on a level yard. Even though I'm over 55, I didn't check 55+ due to the steps, but this is great for any age as long as they can do steps; same with disabilities, as long as it's not someone who needs a wheelchair. (Also, I don't remember the date we were there, so I just picked one.) If any questions, feel free to email me.

Perfect spot on the lake
The best part was the fenced in yard/location/view. We loved the cottage atmosphere and wood paneled walls. The stairs coming down to house were uneven with loose railings. Over grown shrubs on way down stairs. Unappealing landscaping. Outdoor umbrella was covered in mildew. Lack of outdoor seating. No lawnchairs. The supplies in house were disorganized. Open cabinets and stuff falls out, some draws dont open and or are falling apart. Mildew smell in kitchen and lot and lots of ants. Bathroom door didn't close. Cobwebs all over ceiling, extra fans coated in dust, multiple light bulbs out. Burners on grill caked in grease. We only grilled 1 day due to multiple grease flare-ups while trying to cook. We did enjoy our stay mainly due to location and we love the lake. The house was tolerable as most of our time was spent on the lake. If we were new to the lake we would have been disappointed.

Second time
This is a great property. which is why we came back a year later. The photos tell an accurate story. The location right on the lake was great for just sitting and enjoying the view, especially the two swans who came every afternoon to preen themselves by the dock. We particularly liked the comfortable sofas and chairs, and the interesting selection of books is a nice thing for a rainy day. Breakfast at the Broadway cafe in Cassopolis was a real pleasure.

Sunrises are the best on Diamond Lake
Everything was great. Cottage was cleaned very well. Just us and our 2 puppies stayed for two wonderful weeks. We ventured into town and discovered the next Saturday was a vintage car and coffee show. We went and had a great time. We had a great breakfast at the Broadway Cafe. Great burgers and ice cream from The Twirl. Looking forward to next year!
