Charmante maison de plain-pied Newport Beach dispose de 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, salon confortable et une cuisine rénovée avec salle à manger. La cuisine est entièrement équipée comprenant un lave-linge et sèche-linge. Le décor est apaisant et relaxant dans les tons bleus avec des meubles et planchers de bois franc blanchies à la chaux. L'espace extérieur comprend une table avec parasol, 5 chaises et un barbecue à gaz. Littéralement pas du sable de cette propriété est située dans le quartier le plus prisé sur la péninsule de Balboa entre les piliers Balboa et Newport. Juste une maison loin de l'océan et une courte promenade à travers la rue de la baie. Selon la période de l'année, vous pouvez entendre le bruit des vagues sur le sable la nuit. Newport a quelque chose pour tous les âges, que vous veniez pour vous détendre ou de prendre dans toutes les activités qu'elle a à offrir.

Notre emplacement de Newport beach offre tout cela!: Plages familiales amicales avec des miles de sable et de la mer pour nager, prendre le soleil, le surf, volley-ball, la construction de châteaux de sable et regarder les gens. La promenade est agréable pour faire du vélo, patin à roues alignées ou à pied. Découvrez crabes, coquillages et autres formes de vie de la mer à proximité des jetées. Dans la soirée, profitez d'un crépitement du feu dans les anneaux de feu désignés sur la plage tandis que la torréfaction vos friandises préférées et partager des histoires. Basket-ball, volley-ball, et une aire de jeux pour enfants est à seulement un pâté de cette charmante plage retraite.

Boutiques, épiceries, restaurants, gastronomie, vie nocturne, les locations de vélo-kayak-bateau, croisières dans le port, les bateaux de pêche charte, Catalina Island bateaux d'excursion, le ferry pour l'île de Balboa et la Fun Zone Balboa (un des plus anciens parcs d'attractions côtières de la Californie) sont tous à distance de marche. Garez votre voiture quand vous arrivez et marcher à tout cela pendant votre séjour!

Our happy place

This was our second time at this same place. Love love love! It’s our happy place…a perfect retreat for my girls and me. Terry was an excellent host-timely responses and great communicator. Looking forward to returning again!

Great location. Small Space.

Ideal spot for walking to Newport beach and restaurants. (Try Lighthouse for brunch across the street). But space is very small and a bit dark. No views at all. There were no toiletries, so bring your own.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. When there were WiFi issues, Terry was responsive and came over and fixed it promptly. Great communication. Great location. We want to book another stay soon!

Grandparents plus one 5 year old grandchild for a Fall getaway. Perfect set up. Roomy livingroom, eat-in kitchen (NO dishwasher). Includes beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels. Very nice! aware...)

Incredible location!

We have two younger children (3 & 5), and being so close to the beach on the ocean side, the bay side beach, and the incredible playground right on the bay was perfect! There's a small market right around the corner for essentials and so many walkable restaurants.

Cute Cottage Near Beach

Loved our stay in this comfy, clean, cute cottage that is right near the beach. This place had all that we needed and was walking distance to food, shops and the water...bay or beach. It was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental.

Perfect place to stay. Beaches very close. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Great patio. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Grocery store near by. Parking was easy. Owner was very nice and made the renting process easy. Very professional. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location

We just stayed 3 nights and it was lovely. The beds were comfortable and it is as advertised. Cozy but everything you need and imo much better than a hotel for that price! Half block to the beach and the Newport area is great for walking and my kids even went in the freezing ocean! Easy to find parking and communication with Terry was also a breeze.

Always a great time

This was our second time staying at this property and the location is just SOOO GOOD. Steps from the bay and the beach. Not too close to the pier so there arent as many people which is nice. Has everything you need for a great vacation. Plan to stay again many times.

Location, Location, Location!

We really enjoyed staying at this adorable beach house! It was perfect for my husband, my 12-year-old daughter and me. Street parking was not difficult to find, and being able to walk out the front door and be on the sand after a one block walk was fantastic. The beach there is beautiful and huge. We also enjoyed the dining recommendations from Terry.

Charming Beach House

We had a wonderful stay. The house is just around the corner from the beach. Very conveniently located to everything. The house has all the amentities you need. It's nice to sit out on the patio in the evening to look across the street at the bay. It's very safe and great neighborhood. Would highly recommend.

Almost Paradise

Great location and perfect for 4 people. Home could use some upgrades and some TLC. It has everything you need in the kitchen but bathroom was sparse (towels). No reserved parking but that wasn’t too much of a problem. Furnishings were very dated and worn.

cute one floor house on Balboa Blvd - few steps to the sand nice kitchen area and outside patio with table und chairs Communication with Terry, the friendly owner was perfect plenty of parking spaces on the road - convenient walks to shops , beach, both piers, internet in the house did not function most of the time - it worked in one of the bedrooms most of the time though. the floors could use better cleaning - walking barefoot not recommended the matrass and matrass cover could use replacement.... I would recommend this suitable little house any time.

This property has a great location. Steps to the beach and they are not kidding! If you are looking for a 5 star place this is not for you. But if you’re looking for a cute little bungalow by the beach, you’ve found your place. Clean, has all the amenities (could have had more T.P. & paper towels) , great beach chairs, toys, etc. The neighbors were a little sketchy/odd, but never a problem. You can’t pick your neighbors. We would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place, but.....

Nice little 40's bungalow, good location. None of the houses near the beach in Southern California have air conditioning. That's never a problem. The next door neighbor to the north SMOKED non-stop, all day, and all night. We had to close our windows because of this guy. Just a heads up to the non-smoking vrbo peeps. If cigatarette smoke bothers you, I'd look elsewhere, or maybe this guy moves out next year? Who knows. No fault of the owner though.... Just tough with 4 foot setbacks. We couldn't use the front patio table/chairs, as the smoker dudes window was right next to the front patio.

Will rebook without hesitation!!

This comfortable cottage is in a prime location with homey amenities. The place is a half a block from the beach, a block from a convenience store, 5 blocks to one pier, and a mile to the other pier. The street parking is standard beach parking: somewhat hectic in the afternoon, but fine in the morning and evening. The two bedroom cottage has a living room with comfortable couches and cable TV. The kitchen and grill are great, and we used the washer/dryer daily. The beach toys, chairs, and boards added extra ease to the beach vacation. The kiddo and I found the beds to be comfortable too!! Communication was good as well. Emails before the trip, a phone call at the start of the trip, and text messages during the trip answered all out questions. I would rebook this cottage on our next trip. We were very pleased with the booking.

Acceptable stay

First thing I'd say is that if you have an understanding of the area and know what to expect from a rental, then I can say it was a good place to stay. Newport beach area is busy, especially on Balboa Blvd. This house's front porch faces Balboa Blvd and is on the ocean side of the road, not the harbor side. This is not totally clear based on the photos for the listing. The house was well stocked with beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards. Any they were all in good to new condition. Much appreciated. The house is small and fits on a half lot. This was expected and fine by me. The only concern in the house one may have is that the bathroom is fairly small. So, if you are a larger person, it will be a tight fit if not inconvenient. Another unfortunate situation is that the house on the back lot has an outdoor space that backs up to the bedroom windows. Although no one bothered us on our stay, the motion light for that space blinked on an off into our window a couple nights. I could see it being a problem if you were trying to sleep and they neighbor wanted to sit on the patio and have a conversation with their guests. The biggest drawback was no fault to this house, but the house next door on the corner hosts some questionable residents who blow cigarette smoke onto your patio 24/7. This was a bit troublesome for us and caused us to have to keep our windows closed at night. Not trying to be too negative, as we did enjoy our stay.

Terrible experience

Choose a different property. There is public parking only, most of the other properties include parking. Parking is an issue on weekends and especially holidays. Everyone else that rented Vrbo in our group was assigned a code to get access or a lockbox to their rentals. We only received one key for the 4 of us. We were promised to stay til 1pm instead of 10 am and of course this it is in writing. They told us to vacate early the night before by 11:30 and he never remembered the discussion. I even sent a screenshot of the listing stating parking, but Terry said he couldn’t see the picture even though it was an iPhone to iPhone. I sent a screen recording of where it listed parking in amenities. Then I sent him the conversations the month prior to when he agreed we could check out at 1pm. He said he never agreed to that. We left at 8 :30 since we could not attend our function and have enough time to pack. We had to park 6 blocks away as there is no parking except public parking!
