Let me say the owner is truly a very nice guy and very responsive when called.At check in we had no water. called owner and he sent a guy out. I wandered around back and found a steady small geyser of water coming from a broken pipe. The handy man came and repaired the pipe. When we turned on the water it ran a very deep purple. It did flush out. I found the pump to be running nonstop with no water on. We had consistent water outages for the first 3 days.House was not cleantowels and sheets had stainsmost pillows had small blood stains which I worked at getting out of one about 1 1/2 hoursoutside sitting deck and house had extensive mold and mildew which we cleaned. The upper deck has a soft board with a hole. Faulty light switch above bed on second floor. Thermostat stopped working and there were no good batteries in the rental. Front porch rail is loose at upper level. Windows did not work, and the doors had no screens, so we were reluctant to leave them open because of insects.We had to clean windows to have loose siding made a good racket with any wind on the second floor. We were asked twice to be there to let in an appointment. Washer broke and flooded Kitchen and part of a hallway. The beds are just bad with the second-floor bed a mattress only. We did not notify owner of every problem as we did not pay to have to deal with repairmen. Just wanted a quiet 2 months.
