Stayed here for a few days in March. The place was clean and equipped with everything you could need. Would stay here again!

Winter getaway

Great location for our needs.The condo is very nicely decorated and comfortable.The bed could be better.A few items could be added to the kitchen like, a kettle, a casserole dish or two, place mats. Scatter mats in the bathroom are a slip/trip hazard. Overall a great spot to put up your feet and relax.

Great Property

Overall everything was amazing and just what our family of five needed. The only issue had is the amount of noise and stomping you hear from the upstairs guests.

Condo was exactly as pictured! Great location! A few steps from the pool which came in handy on really hot days! Also want to mention the great attention to detail with things around the condo….I.e first aid kit in the bathroom. 10/10

Amazing property!

The community was excellent! The rental was beautiful and it was super quick to get to the beach. The house came with 2 chairs, an umbrella, beach toys, a wagon and coolers. I loved it and would definitely stay here again.

Florida getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. My boys loved the lake and easy access to the pool. It's a short walk to the beach. It was all very clean and just as listing described. There was a ceiling fan in the floor of the sunroom and with us having 3 small kids was an inconvenience of keeping it out of our way. I would have given everything 5 stars of the ceiling fan wasn't there. Owner was very responsive to our questions.

Great condo, could be cleaner

Overall, the condo worked out well. Check in and out was easy and communication was great. The main issue for us was the overall cleanliness of the condo. The floor in particular was very dirty, our feet were completely black after only a few minutes of walking around. The rugs and bathmats were also not very clean. Having a toddler who spends a lot of time on the floor, this was extra concerning. We have stayed in several other seascape properties over the years, loved the location on the lake, and we would have considered staying here again if not for the cleanliness issues.

As Advertised…

Nice stay. Easy check in/out. Unit had a beach wagon, two beach chairs, two beach umbrellas and two boogie boards. Very pleasant surprise. Shower/tube was nice. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable. Pull out bed under tv was a big plus. Kitchen was very nice and well stocked. Easy walk to beach. Be sure to bring toilet paper. Was only provided one and a half rolls. Would definitely recommend

Second stay at this location

Overall the condos at Stewart Cove are nice, but the area is too congested with people. I will find another area in Destin to stay in next time. The condo was clean and nicely furnished but the patio was very disappointing - The screen door was broken and the couches were dirty and stained. The refrigerator needed a new water filter as well. This condo is a five minute walk to the beach and on Lake Stewart which is a plus. I have stayed in another condo on these grounds and it was awesome so just don’t choose this unit and you may not be disappointed.

Two main problems

1. The patio door would not lock. We reported it but nothing happened. Finally, my husband bought a screwdriver (there were no tools available) and fixed the problem. I felt unsafe having the door unlocked. 2. The bedroom closet housed the ironing board…it would not collapse so we managed to use it to lay pieces of clothing on top of the ironing board. The location was great and we had good weather. We enjoyed our stay even with the problems.

Disappointed!

While the location is great as it concerns the beach, the condo is not great. We had to wear flip flops in the condo as our feet turned black due to the lack of cleanliness of the floors. The furniture is lacking any support and is very uncomfortable. The mattress is old and worn out as is the bed springs. I could not get out of bed without waking my wife as they creaked extremely loudly. We were notified that we would have to purchase toilet paper as they left only two very small rolls for six days. However, the notification only came the day before checking with the entry and WiFi codes. This is something that should be noted in the site so one can prepare properly. The cable remote didn’t work so we’re expected to wait around for the local cable guy to come. This is something the maintenance people should address after every customer leaves. The water is very small so the second person showering will only get Luke warm water at best. Will never rent this again nor would I recommend it!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Access to the pool and beach were very convenient. Great view. Clean, well-kept property. Communication with the owner was prompt and detailed. Will hopefully be able to book this unit again! Thank you!

Nice Getaway

Very nice condo. Just one bed room but our two kids enjoyed the couch and loveseat over pulling the two pullouts out. Nicely remodelled. Close to the pool and board walk to the beach. Very nice countertops with bar. Will be back!
