Terrible experience
Condo was beautiful and did have 3 very nice TV's that we simply were not able to operate. Host told me after my stay that instructions with needed codes and information was sent by his personal email rather than VRBO . This email went into my junk and I never saw it. Therefore we were accidentally locked out of the condo for over an hour because we used the VRBO information to try to contact host. We called at 12:22 pm and attempted 7 times with no reply until 4:42 pm from a number that came up as SPAM on my phone. During conversation the host gave me cable company numbers and info to contact them to fix TVs. When we left we attempted to clean the condo and take out trash but the only trash bags I could find or washcloths/dishcloths was one dish towel in the kitchen and the trash bag in the trash can, therefore we did have to leave some things that I assumed the cleaning fee I paid would cover. My family suggested that I ask for at least a partial refund for the fact that the TVs didn't work and we were locked out in the cold and could not get in touch with host. I messaged the host through VRBO and told him that I planned to give a review reflecting the experience and did ask for at least a partial refund. He replied with a very nasty response accusing me of extortion/blackmail and lying about not receiving email. He contacted VRBO accusing us of scratching refrigerator and trashing the place and charged me damages and asked them to put me on record to not rent to.
