Magnifiquement nommée maison de campagne de 1876 avec de vastes pelouses et un vaste patio clos en pierre bleue, parfait pour les barbecues ou les grillades s'mores dans le foyer.

La maison elle-même est spacieuse et pleine de charme. La cuisine est bien équipée avec une salle à manger formelle de garde-manger de majordome pouvant accueillir 12 personnes et donnant sur le jardin paysager. Un porche grillagé surplombe les pelouses devant la maison. Le grand salon dispose d'une cheminée à bois spectaculaire, d'une télévision à écran plat et de sièges confortables. La chambre principale offre une vue magnifique sur les bois et les chevreuils occasionnels derrière la maison où des hectares de sentiers de randonnée privés commencent. La grande grange, située près d'un ruisseau, a été transformée en salle de jeux avec piscine, ping-pong, baby-foot, air hockey, match de basket, fléchettes, etc. Cela garantit que même si le temps est mauvais, il y a toujours quelque chose d'amusant à faire!

La maison est située entre la Phénicie et Woodstock et à une courte distance en voiture des commerces locaux et des stands de ferme.

Sentiers de randonnée: Les sentiers de transport sont vastes. Nous limitons la terre d'état qui est approximativement 150 acres et divers. terrain voisin de 600 acres. l'utilisation de véhicules tout-terrain pourrait être disponible.

A Beautiful Place to Ring in 2025!

Jim’s home is the most perfect rental- the best we’ve stayed at by far! Aside from the gorgeous house, grounds and game room, there are also so many touches that make this property feel like a home away from home. No detail has been spared and I truly can’t recommend it more highly. We are hoping to be back as it was a wonderful stay!

Perfect spot for our Christmas Holiday

We were so happy to have found this gem at the foothills of the Catskills. It wa a perfect respite for our family during the Christmas holiday. The location, warmth of the property, and a little snow made it so much fun and homey. The hot tub was an awesome way to celebrate the end of the day. Jim gave us outstanding support and caring throughout the visit. This home would be a treasure at any time of the year.

Charming Farmhouse

James was very attentive. when we called with questions he stayed on the phone until we found everything. It was a charming farmhouse. We styed the last weekend in November and it snowed. That was beautiful my only disappointment was the hot tub is a distance from any door. So it was a chilly walk in and out. I we would definently go back in the summer for the poo;and the beautiful backyard.

Home

This was our third time staying here, and that’s because there’s no reason to look for another property. Jim always is great with communication, and I’ve noticed he has listened to any “negatives” in the reviews and has addressed them. This is our first time here in the fall, and we still had plenty to do: Game room is always a delight; internet works great; the big comfy couch is perfect for a movie night; the backwoods are a great adventure; house was clean; beds are comfortable; badminton in the front had us running around like we were teenagers again; found serenity in the soaking tub (as did my husband for the first time in his life!); jacuzzi was clean; the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided are devine… and these memories will last forever. We truly feel at HOME when we come, and we WILL be back for a fourth time. HIGHLY recommend this property for any family and/or friends… a short ride to town will have you thinking about becoming a local 😂

Amazing Fall Getaway

I recently stayed at this property for a long weekend with my family and had an amazing time! The house has something for everyone to do and plenty of space to spread out. My 7 year old son adored the game room and it kept him busy for hours. The property is located halfway between Woodstock and Phoenicia so there are lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Jim makes your entire stay a piece of cake from check-in to dinner recommendations. Don't hesitate to book- you'd be missing out!

Fall Bday Get Away

We had an amazing time at the Eyebrow Colonial Home. This was a gathering with our adult children. We utilized so much of what the property and home had to offer. Everyone had their own space and bathroom, we cooked a family dinner, and enjoyed the many seating areas inside and outside. Hot tub! Hiking on the property! Deer sighting! Fire pit! And of course the game room. Popped in there everyday for games, laughter, and wonderful family bonding. Easy access to Woodstock and other outdoor adventures. Highly recommend!

Paradise

This property and its owners have piece of paradise in this home. When they say it’s fully stocked they mean you have everything you could need or want. That said the surroundings were beautiful even breathtaking at times with star filled skies and sunset Mountain View’s. Their amenities were countless. We played we soaked we swam with plenty of room to relax and spread out. Beds were comfy, bathrooms lovely and the decor and ambience perfect. You can’t noo ea visit to this property

This is our 2nd stay to this beautiful colonial farmhouse...and already planning to make it a 3rd. This house feels like a home..it's warm..and inviting..you'll see fresh cut flowers waiting for you upon your arrival. Amenities galore and more... Spent much time with my daughter and her 2 boys ages 3 n 6 in the pool..making a fire inside the pool area fire pit.cooking up smorges..Did I not mention the hot tub..Geeze!!! great nite sleep after!! We all enjoyed the jacuzzi wirh added bubbles. The beds are comfortable.. It's quality all the way!! Host Jim I love his ease..flexibility and availability. Jim gives his full attention and ensures a safe memorable and uneventful stay. Jim..Your the best host!!

Three Nights in the Hudson Valley

This house feels like a cozy old cabin in the woods. it's fully supplied and within an easy 10 minute drive to nearby Woodstock where you'll find a grocery store with excellent selections of organic groceries and fresh produce. We loved he property that includes an easily hikeable private trail up the mountain (approx. 2 miles out and back round trip). We played croquet in the yard and our teenaged kids enjoyed the huge game room and got a kick out of all the wild variety of wall decorations. It's a great home for families... plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Woodstock Memorial Day weekend

We have a family of 5. We love to explore new towns in the northeast! This property was wonderful! Pool, hot tub game room (barn) nobody was board! It was relaxing and a wonderful place to stay! It is only a short drive from Bearsville and Woodstock with lots of shopping food and live music. We explored the Ashokan rail trail and reservoir and Kingston as well! Highly recommend this property!!

1876 Eyebrow Colonial Home

We were looking for a little getaway for our daughter's 25th birthday with family. We wanted a cozy home that could accommodate 5 adults. We wanted to have a relaxing time together around a fire, but we were also looking for some fun as well. The home achieved both, we cooked a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen, played some board games, and were able to enjoy the awesome game room. I could only imagine staying during the summer months and enjoying the pool as well. Thank you for opening up your home, and allowing us to create some great memories.

cozy and lovely stay

my family and I stayed in Jim's home for my birthday and had the loveliest time. the property is beautiful and the house was clean, cozy, and had everything/anything we needed to make it a great stay. the game room was really fun for the whole family and the yard was great for my dog to enjoy. Jim was always accessible for anything we needed. The whole weekend was so special and a great way to spend my birthday.

New year fun!

We were 3 couples and we had a blast. House was perfect. Everyone was comfortable with their sleeping arrangements. The game room was excellent! A lot of competition going on!! James Reuda was so considerate and friendly and made sure we knew where everything was. Short ride to the town. The town was beautiful. Highly recommend!

AMAZING CHRISTMAS

We just spend the most amazing 7 nights during Christmas break at this unique home. We cooked Christmas Day dinner and many other meals. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had 8 ppl total & 2 small dogs. We had lots of space. This home has a lot of character and we truly appreciated it for the holidays. Not to mention the best Game room. We spend hours playing pool & table tennis. My family was visiting from Ireland and they all loved it young and old. Jim was amazing host. Will return in the near future.

Everything-you-need family escape

We very much enjoyed our weeklong stay at Jim’s property with our kids (teens) and parents. The house and adjacent game barn provided enough space for everyone and allowed our kids to have a great time, play their own music etc without worrying about being loud. The large gated pool aria has ample seating for everyone and a big grill. Loved the lazy susan built into the table. Hot tub was very actively used by all, especially as it was getting a little cooler out. The listing has a lot of detail about the games in the barn and it’s all true, but does not do justice to how incredibly well stocked the kitchen is, both in terms of appliances and ingredients. Plus, the big fridge and freezer meant we could shop once and just hang out. We also appreciated how many towels were provided, both for the pool and showers. In case you are wondering, we were, plenty of wood to use in the two fire pits. The location of the property makes it easy to explore the town of Woodstock, is near hiking (with plenty of hiking available kn the property also) and a big super market is just 10 minutes away.

Last minute stay at the Eyebrow Colonial

The house was amazing in every way! Jim was an awesome host. I don’t usually write reviews, but for myself and my family (ages 10-84) this was an awesome vacation. Everything listed is accurate and as pictured. The house is even more beautiful in person.

Catskills Charmer

Traveled several times to this region and have stayed at several rentals. This property by far exceeded all expectations. It's history, location, and amenities cannot be outdone. Terrific host available, helpful an unintrusive. We were completely charmed everyday by this grand lady of a home and the property. We will be back.

Exceptional property

We spent an amazing week at this wonderful home which exceeded our expectations. Our host, Jim, was friendly, communicative, and accessible-check in was seamless and we had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The house is beautiful and huge, but cozy, and was very clean. We loved spending time at the pool everyday and enjoying the mountain views from the yard. The property is enormous and beautifully kept. The game room was also a favorite spot of ours and we enjoyed spending time looking at all of the amazing collectibles in both the house and the game room. There is also an amazing and large seating area/fire pit next to the home which can be enjoyed by a large group. The home is just a short drive to downtown Woodstock shops and restaurants which we found vibrant and friendly. I highly recommend this home and if we ever are back in the Catskills area, we would love to book a stay at this home again.

Perfect Paradise !

This beautifully renovated 1876 house was the ideal accommodation for all 6 of our family & friends, with a variety of sleeping options and tons of space to spread out. Outdoor and indoor activities were plentiful ~ the pool was pristine, the view from the front lawn was lovely and the game room was mind blowing. We cooked and ate every meal in the well-appointed kitchen. The beautiful landscaping provided a sense of ease and calm, a welcome respite. Would definitely rent here again!
