3 week stay

We stayed for 3 weeks for our son’s wedding and a little getaway. The grounds of Sawgrass Country Club were fabulously maintained and beautiful! Checkin was very easy and Karen had alerted the staff at the gate of our arrival so that went very well. The condo could use some touch ups and minor maintenance but all in all the place was clean and worth the money! Karen was quick to send her maintenance man over to change an outdoor lightbulb and he was very service oriented. The king size bed was very comfortable and the space was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the area!

Great location

We were looking for somewhere quiet but close to the beach for the long 4th of July weekend. This property in a gated community with beach access and a pool fit the bill. Close to restaurants, shops, and a short jaunt to St Augustine via A1A made it a great spot to get away. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic stay in Ponte Vedra

I rented Karen’s beautiful place for family visiting from out of town. We live in Ponte Vedra and are members at the sawgrass country club so we know this area extremely well. Her place was perfect. Very clean and well appointed. Check in, permissions at the gate were all seamless. Very conveniently located. She is incredibly responsive if you have questions. We will definitely rent from her again. Our family loved staying there.

Wonderful home in a great location

This was our second time staying at this property and we always have a lovely time. It’s centrally located near the beach and very close to the community pool. Grocery stores, pharmacy and restaurants are all very close by and accessible. Karen is a wonderful host who is always very accommodating and reachable in case of any questions. We are so grateful to Karen for sharing her lovely home and hospitality and would love to return again.

Weekend Getaway

Karen was an excellent host. Always available and responsive. Felt welcome immediately. Townhome was immaculate, well stocked and convenient. Close to restaurants, Publix and activities. Walked to the beach at Sawgrass and enjoyed the golf course view. Highly recommend

Clean, Quiet, Comfortable

This is a nice two bedroom condo on the golf course. It is comfortable and perfectly quiet. It could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and some bathroom updates, but at the price point, it is a great deal. Perfect communication from the host. Everything that needed to be communicated and nothing else.

Tranquil, Comfortable Convenience

I chose this Sawgrass Villa as a recovery spot post surgery from the Mayo Clinic. I found the location to be quiet, tranquil, extremely safe and convenient to everything that we needed to access. The beds are super comfortable, which for me, post surgery, would have been very important to the overall satisfaction of my stay there and my comfort while recovering. I was so pleasantly surprised to be so very comfortable. Karen, the property manager, was super responsive, easy to work with and very accommodating. I hope to stay again when back for a subsequent visit.

Adequate

This condo is in a good location near everything, but is in need of updating. It seems like it has seen quite a bit of use and bathrooms and kitchen are tired. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. The furniture is worn. The owner maintained great communication and was highly responsive. Good TV. Internet. Nice little welcome gift. Appreciated the beach chairs and towels. It is just time to put some investment back in.

Very disappointed.

The pictures online looked very nice. Unfortunately, we were never able to enjoy the outdoors, because there is only one access to it and you could barely open the door because it is so old. In addition, the screen was ripped and we couldn’t enjoy fresh air because of the geckos that kept coming through the screen. The property was filthy. Food explosion in the microwave that was never cleaned, dog hair throughout the condo and also in the shower of master bedroom. Dust and filth on ceiling fans, and lamps and a used bar of soap stuck to the top of a game box in the living room! In addition, we had to replace batteries in two of the three remote controls. These should be standard procedures after each group exits the property. Obviously this property was never cleaned thoroughly although, when we first arrived, the smell of bleach was overpowering. That’s when we discovered, we couldn’t open the patio door without having an issue with the geckos. I honestly think the cleaning team sprayed bleach into the air so you would think the property was cleaned. I did contact Kim at the management office and she offered to credit us the cleaning fee. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nicely updated. We also enjoyed the foosball table.

A beautiful townhouse in an exclusive gated community

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Karen’s Sawgrass Fairway Dream rental was clean, comfortable and quiet. My daughter and I came to Jacksonville for a month of treatment at Mayo and this was the perfect place for us. It was safe, quiet, and we were even able to bring Callie, our little shipoo dog. With tile and hardwood throughout it was easy to keep clean. The view was nice and we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio. It is a great walkable community where we were even able to walk to the beach (about 15m walk) to see the sunrise in the morning. If we come back to Jacksonville we will contact Karen again!

Golf- Beach! Who could ask for anything more!

This family of golfers and beach lovers had the most perfect week! Location, location, location!! The townhouse served us very well. We had everything we needed and the property manager Karen, was super responsive and a pleasure. THE BEACH !!! clean and just beautiful! TCP!! amazing !! Even if you don’t golf. Go!! Our Storyteller was delightful! My only recommendation would be to re convert the lanai back to its original intended space. Would have been a great way to enjoy the afternoon thundershowers Thank you so much Karen Laing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location, location, location was refreshed since our 2019 visit, but still needs a few changes. The doors and windows are original (30yo) and especially the sliders which now require three men and a boy to slide. The electrical switches in both bathrooms were miss-wired with one switch on one way the other on the other way. The owner bath door would not latch and might be awkward if children were present. The condo is great and the pool was beautiful. The access code worked but the bathrooms were also on keypads and those codes were not provided. The kitchen had most everything and the addition of a grill was welcome. A hose would make the outside faucet more conducive to rinsing off sand and such. The place was pretty and again, the location is prime.

Just as described, great location & spacious home

The location and surroundings were ideal! Walk to the beach was easy and pleasant. Home was nicely decorated and clean ( although a fresh coat of paint in a few rooms would be helpful). Host Karen was enormously helpful, communicated well and very quickly. Would recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future:)

A Lovely Place

This property was wonderful! The owner even left me a charcuterie plate from Publix! I stayed a week and it was perfect. Will definitely stay here again when I come down to visit relatives!
