C'est la maison de vacances de nos familles et aucun détail n'a été négligé. Vous trouverez le luxe et les commodités que vous ne trouverez dans aucune autre propriété. Car encore une fois, c'est la maison de vacances de nos familles que notre famille veut partager avec vous. Et à quiconque a déjà loué, vous connaissez la différence. Si vous voulez sortir par la porte et faire de la plongée avec tuba et / ou du poisson, prenez la meilleure pizza au homard de tous les temps et descendez 3 miles de la plage sans voir une autre personne jour après jour, c'est la maison de vacances pour vous. Cette maison est faite pour être appréciée avec un intérieur décontracté, confortable et luxueux. Notre maison est adaptée aux enfants et aux adultes heureux!

Nous venons également d'ajouter récemment une 7ème chambre à la maison principale ainsi qu'un cottage 2 chambres à l'arrière pour les groupes plus importants.

Perfect property!

5 Palms is a lovely home for 3 generations to gather. The beach is private and, thanks to the reefs, the waves are not overwhelming for children. The reef is close enough to reach snorkel and kayaking. We found out how hard paddle boarding is! Literally everything is provided for beach and pool play. The house is perfect for finding a space away from the group and/or to join in the group. Pool and pickle ball added to the fun. There are games and DVDs galore in the gameroom but we were all too exhausted by evening to do anything but go to bed! I feel very fortunate to have found this property. Thanks to Susan, Beryne and Julius!

Amazing Home in Gorgeous Setting

This home was perfect for our party of 11, ranging in age from 20-80 years old. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of room to spread out, watch movies, eat dinner together at a giant table, sit at the beach or on the deck, in the sun room. Plenty of furniture, beach toys, shaded areas right by the water, umbrellas, chairs, everything you need. Little extras like paper towels, toilet paper, spices, flour- all of these were just available. Beryl and Julian did everything to keep up the home and answer any questions for us. Susan is a fabulous communicator from start to finish. She arranged all of the transportion from the airport and back and had vehicles for us to rent. Weather in Eleuthera in March was perfect!!! Highly recommend.

Great family vacation

We have traveled a lot as a family and I can say Five Palms is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. We had 20 in our group from grandparents down to 6 months old . The house and guest house were large enough to house us all with plenty of room for the grown ups to enjoy coffee on the screened in porch while the children played in the game room . The beach was amazing , the pool was great, and we all had fun learning to play pickle ball . Berle cooked all out meals and they were amazing . She also answered our many questions . Her husband Jillian kept the grounds so nice and quickly fixed anything that needed attention. Susan, the owner , was the best to work with . She always quickly answered any questions I might have and sent me lots of information before the trip to help me plan. If I could give it 100 stars I would. We can’t wait to go back !

A Slice of Paradise

We just returned from 5 Palms in early April and had the best Spring Break vacation. The house is just as wonderful as it looks in the listing. We had 4 families and 5, 16-year-old boys. The setup of the house was perfect for our group. Everyone had their space and the boys loved having their own space downstairs. The screened porch was wonderful to enjoy our coffee and Beryl's Mom's delicious cinnamon buns in the morning or wind down with a cocktail in the evening! The pool was wonderful and the boys loved hanging out there after a day on the beach. We played pickleball, beach volleyball, and basketball, but I think our crew enjoyed being able to snorkel off the reef in front of the house the most! Beryl, who manages the home, and her husband Julian, who takes care of the grounds and the pool, are nothing short of true treasures! We enjoyed the time we spent with them and all the meals Beryl prepared for us. We ended up having her cook more than we planned because everything was so delicious! This was a dream vacation at a dream destination in the perfect home! We are already looking forward to another stay at 5 Palms!

More than your typical VRBO!

This house comes fully stocked with everything you might need including water toys, life vests, snorkeling gear, fishing gear, and sailboat. Lots of extras you wouldn’t expect. There are a few local food options but I would highly recommend the optional cook that keeps the house up. The best vrbo that we have stayed at.

Beautiful Home and Location

Our home at The Five Palms house was the perfect post holiday trip that my family needed! We had plenty of room to spread out , the house was very well stocked, and we loved the convenience of the beach and pool right at the house. The pickle ball court was also a huge hit! The house manager and her husband were more than helpful! Hope to go back sometime soon:)

As good as you could hope for...!

Three generations of our family (10 in all, ages 2 to 82) rented Five Palms Beach House for the week between Christmas and New Years 2019-2020. Five Palms exceeded every expectation we had as a place for our family to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  What is not clear from its website is that the home is blessedly alone on its own stretch of beach facing the Atlantic. We had our own surf, our own beach boards and kayaks (provided by the host family), our own ample inside space with the main rooms looking out over the surf. With its “bohio” (palm-covered porch on the sand by the waves, its wooden deck at the side of the house for watching the stars, its gem of a swimming pool on the non-Atlantic edge of the home next to its Pickle Ball court, our clan had a fully-equipped and beautifully maintained isolation that is almost never found in the rest of our crowded lives. Five Palms is not a resort; it is its own private treasure of a place.  You are not renting a commercial vacation beach house, you are sharing someone's well-equipped home. There are a variety of spaces for small group discussions or large group gatherings (a favorite of ours was the breezy screened-in porch overlooking the ocean); the range of activities available at the house kept us coming back from any Island excursion glad just to be “home.”  The support staff led, by Beryl (home keeper) and her husband Julian (outdoor manager), made us feel like we were enjoying an informal Bahamian version of “Downton Abbey.” We happily hired Beryl to prepare four of our six evening meals—and relished not only her dinners but also her leftovers. Note: Beryl cooked to meet the needs of our Celiac-affected family and made no big deal of it; the chicken, pork, stone crab legs, and fresh-caught lobster were delicious AND gluten-free.  Our interactions with the owners were special -- positive, useful, friendly. Good people all. Our family loved every bit of our stay, and hope to return. (To wake up to the sound of surf and shore breezes and to spend the night looking at stars is well worth the hassle of getting through Bahamian airports.) R&C Morgan

Wonderful family destination!

We have rented this home 3 times, and it has been amazing every time. We travel with a large group of children and adults. The home is decorated perfectly and stocked with everything needed for a stress free trip. The location is rural, so if you have a group looking for a “party scene” or “night life” this is not the property for them! We like to cook, read on the beach, snorkel and sit by the pool so this home is perfect! We always rent the van so we can go to Governor’s Harbor for the Friday night fish fry, go to the grocery store and do a few day trips to the pink beach and Tippy’s. It is a beautiful and relaxing property.

If we could give it 10 stars we would

We went to five palms not really knowing what to expect. We had never been on a "real" vacation before and we were traveling with a 10 month old child. We were absolutely blown away at the piece of paradise that is five palms. The property is so private, and peaceful. The beach is amazing and unlike any other I have ever been to. We never saw another person on the beach the whole time we were there. It was like we were on our own private little island. The house was stocked with absolutely everything you could imagine/want or need. There is no easy way to explain how nice it was to feel like they had literally thought of everything. There were beach toys, pool toys, house toys, kitchen gadgets galore, super comfortable beds, lots of space and just a really great vibe to relax in. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. As a group it would be where we reconvened after the day to watch the sun go down, enjoy some drinks, listen to the ocean and enjoy the sea breeze. The stars at night are amazing because the island genuinely gives off no light pollution. It was one of the best sky's I've ever seen. All in all, the property was absolutely amazing and exceeded every expectation we had. The staff are SO good at what they do and really great people. Beryl's cooking is the absolute best. It was an incredible trip and we will be back. I don't think this is the kind of place you could only do once, it's genuinely that good.

Secluded perfection!

There really are no words to adequately describe the beauty and seclusion of The Five Palms homes and property. The utter relaxation our entire family felt and the time we were able to focus on each other because of it’s seclusion, is unmatched. The hours of conversation under the beach tiki, the late night swims, the snorkeling, watching the moon rise over the ocean, the daily am conversations with Julian, the delicious Beryl meals - memories we will never forget and I’m just scratching the surface. The house and guest house was the perfect accommodations for our group of 12 adults and 3 children. And if you’re bringing children, they have everything at for them - from high chairs, pack-n-plays, toys, books, coloring station, movies and more. There is a nice sized grocery store about 15 minutes from the house, but hire Beryl to make as many dinners as possible! Delicious and affordable. If you want to fish or snorkel, definitely bring your own gear. The website says there are glass bottom kayaks, but according to the caretaker those are long gone. They do have two that work good, sans the glass bottoms. We will absolutely be back. All of us are in agreement that we have to go back and we have to stay longer. It’s totally worth the day of travel!

Repeat visitors

Our group of 8 returned to Five Palms in March after a Christmas stay in 2017, and for us, that says it all -- we love to travel to new places and try new things, but Five Palms made repeat visitors out of us. The property is in fantastic condition with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, an amazingly well-stocked kitchen (and wine pantry!), and vast amounts of entertainment options from water sports to DVDs/books/games. Beryl is a font of all information as well as a terrific cook -- I've seen reviews recommending one or another of her dishes, and can tell you they're ALL good. The owners are a delight. The optional rental van was well maintained (and relatively easy to drive on the "wrong" side of the road!). The pool and beach were perfect, and taken care of daily. We honestly love this place and highly recommend it to groups of all ages -- they have plenty of child-friendly features & equipment for the youngest travelers, teens will love it, adults can't do better. There's so much to do just on the property itself that you might miss out on cute little restaurants, boat tours, snorkeling, deep see fishing, or excursions to nearby beaches or islands. Five Palms makes it really hard for us to want to try any place new when they do it all so well!

Wonderful!

I can not say enough great things about this house. Our family stayed here for a week (9 adults and 4 children) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beach is RIGHT there and the pool is great! Beryl and her family are fabulous and help out with anything you need. They are there everyday to check on you and clean the beach. It's fabulous. I would not hesitate a moment to return there next year!!

fabulous place to stay in Eleuthera

The property is exactly as advertised - comfortable, well equipped and well taken care of. We had everything we needed for our 3 generations of family. The house manager Beryl was attentive and helpful and made us two delicious meals. Grounds are well maintained. Snorkeled off the beach with all equipment provided, great location with easy access to Rock Sound. We used both the main house and the guest cottage and rented a van from the owners. Enjoyed the beach, the pool, the kayaks, the basketball and pickle courts. Everyone wants to return.

BEST VACATION EVER!!

This home was built for my family...It had everything we needed and then some. The beautiful views and perfect location to everything was fantastic. There were 19 of us and we had so much to do everyday. Swimming, boating, dune buggy rides, the food, the beach. Too much to mention. We will definitely be returning to Five Palms. The most amazing trip... EVER.

This is our 5th time staying at the Five Palms Beach House. People often wonder why we don't stay on one of the big island at a resort.... Well, Five Palms Beach House IS why. Everything about it. The house, the staff, the island, the beach right in the back yard. There is even a gorgeous and well maintained pool for a more low key water experience if you have someone in your crew who prefers that. The way that everyone involved in your stay at Five Palms treats you is truly mind blowing. It seems that you are in another reality because it is everything you could dream of for a beach getaway. There is SO much to do on the island. Not to mention, super quick boat rides to other islands. I could go on and on and onnnnn about how much fun we have when we come here. One thing I can't forget to mention is that you MUST make sure that you choose the Blueberry Buckle as one of your breakfast options. We pinky-promise that your life will never be the same ;)

Incredible and beautiful home in a great location!

This house is just amazing! It has everything you could ever want! The kitchen is incredible and has every possible appliance and implement you could ever want. The rooms are decorated beautifully, the furniture is great and comfortable. There are more rooms than we could keep up with. We loved sitting in the screened in porch, the chairs and table on the upper deck, hte chairs and table at the tiki hut on the beach, and the cairs and table at the pool - so many great options with beautiful views, where you could hear the waves crashing. There is also every possible beach and pool "toy" right there - canoes, paddle boards, a hobie-cat, floats, chairs, snorkels, etc. The owner ws fantastic to work with to make sure that everything was perfect for our vacation. We rented the van, and easily drove to some of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen ( and we've seen beautiful beaches in lots of places!) Honestly, the house could not have been better -we all loved it!

GORGEOUS (and PERFECT) Oceanfront Vacation Home

Five Palms Beach House is a stunning oceanfront property in Eleuthera. Located inside the sleepy town of Tarpum Bay, on its own stretch of beach (with some of the most amazing reefs), it is the type of vacation home that people DREAM about. As you round the top of the driveway, the sight of the turquoise water will take your breath away...until you see the gorgeous yellow house (which you will soon call your home). This was our 5th stay at Five Palms. As a long time guest I can tell you that the ONLY thing that has changed here has been the height of our children and the ever growing list of amenities the house has at your disposal. Need a car=check. High chair=check. Wine fridge (stocked)=check. Gorgeous views=check. Snorkel gear, sailboat, SUPs, kayak=check. Fantastic tiki hut for those that want to be by the water but not in the sun=check. This house has it all! The staff (Beryl, Julian, Earlene) are kind, hardworking, hilariously funny with their stories of the island, and know so much about the island. Meet them once and you are family forever. Working with the owners to arrange your stay and pickup once you are on the island is as easy as drinking the margarita you made from the fun Margarita machine in the kitchen. Our stay this year was with 13 people--4 of which were teenage boys. Phones and iPads were put away for TEN days. TEN days people! If that isn't island magic I don't know what is. The house is superbly set up with each nook allowing for privacy while at the same time having enough space for large groups to gather and chat. The house caters to large families with enough kitchen items to feed at least 20, seating for huge groups (we easily sat 13 at the dinner table), two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two coffee pots. Every aspect of the house has been well thought out. It is a house meant to be enjoyed. It reminds me of my Italian grandmother, it takes you in, hugs you and makes you fall more in love with it every time you visit. PERFECT get-away for ages 4 to 73!

Five Palms was the perfect get-away for our family, ranging in age from 4 to 73, as we laughed and played and soaked up to sun in celebration of our 50th Anniversary. The house was spotless and the staff was professional and friendly. Feeding our gang of 13 was easy in the thoroughly equipped kitchen. With the bedrooms separated by the living spaces, we were under one roof but we had our privacy too. The property is secluded but just a few minutes away from a pretty settlement with little shops and only 15 minutes away from a larger town with a big grocery store and Sammy’s - a must stop for a Bahamian meal of cracked conch or grouper. If you’re looking for an elegant, family-friendly place to stay, Five Palms is perfect in every way!

Five Palms; Eleuthera, Bahamas: The Potter Family

This was our third trip to Five Palms with 14 of us since 2014 which includes our 6-grandkids from 6-16 years old. And we've never heard the word bored! From the breath taking views, the pool, tremendous beach with a super cabana, snorkeling equipment, boggie and paddle boards, various kayaks, Hobbie Kat sail boat, volleyball, beach chairs, great grill, etc. The kicker is the world class snorkeling opportunities!I'll tell you how much we enjoy it, we just booked again for 2018! To say Five Palms is a special place doesn't begin to describe the reality of our visit!

Great home, very family friendly!

Our family of 12 stayed at this home for a week and we loved every minute of it. There was so much room that we had several beds we didn't even need. We spent a lot of time bouncing between the pool and the beach and loved playing with all of the beach toys. We hope to be back again to stay at Five Palms!

Absolutely perfect vacation at Five Palms

Our family of 10 stayed at Five Palms over an April school vacation. What a wonderful house! Five Palms is perfect for families with children of all ages. The large room on the lower level, separated from the upper living room, screened porch, dining area, and kitchen was a great space for the teens and younger children. It was stocked with games, books, videos and almost anything one could ask for. The bedrooms off that space were perfect for the older ones. Susan and her family have thought of every kind of pool and beach toy including kayaks, sailboat, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, floats, etc. The lovely cheerful colors, spotlessly clean rooms, and comfortable furniture, including wonderfully comfortable beds in every bedroom helped us immediately relax when we arrived. Our delicious welcome dinner supplied by Beryl was the perfect beginning, and introduction to the island. Working with Susan to plan the trip was a pleasure. She sent us lots of information and answered all our questions promptly. We took advantage of having Beryl cook a number of meals. We so enjoyed her, and the meals she prepared. Our days were primarily spent between the beach and the pool with a break on a couple for the days for spearfishing, snorkeling lessons and a fishing trip. The house is stocked with wonderful towels, robes, dishes, and practically anything that one would need for the stay, including waffle makers, frozen drink makers, etc. We can't wait to return to Five Palms for another perfect family vacation.

Best Home on Eleuthera!

I can't say enough about this home! Before arrival, the owner was accessible and accomodating. After arrival, the caretakers of the property were friendly, helpful and made us all feel at home and very pampered! We had several dinners at the house, which were delicious and affordable for a large group. The home is in an ideal setting. Great snorkeling, miles of beach to yourself, and every beach toy invented. There is really no need to ever leave the house! The interior of the house is clean and well maintained. The decor is beachy and beautiful. The kitchen has every item one would ever need. The beds were comfortable. It is apparent that a lot of thought and love went into the home. We have stayed in four homes on Eleuthera, and this one far exceeds all of the others in location, service and unexpected "extras" that helped us create wonderful family memories!
