Quiet, clean and comfortable

Superb communication with owners, easy check-in/check-out process, and a clean and well-appointed apartment. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in the area assuming you are comfortable climbing stairs to get in and out.

Such a gem

We love staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The property is great and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great and very attentive. The property is very close to town and there is so much to do in the area in every season. We will be back for a 3rd time soon!

Incredible stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend. Jeff and Shawn were very friendly, accommodating and helpful when planning our weekend out. They even offered to mail us our left behind items.We will 100% be back for another winter getaway or maybe see what the summer time offers. Thank you for everything!!

Great weekend!

Shawn and Jeff are great hosts! They are helpful, accommodating and great at communicating. The apartment is awesome- what a treat to have heated floors after a shower! This is our second time staying with them and it will not be our last!

Outstanding! Great location for a wedding in Walloon Lake. Hosts very accommodating and friendly. House very clean and stocked with everything we needed, and more. If we visit the area again, we will be back!

Every comfort provided

This property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The comfort of the guest was thoughtfully considered and provided for. I especially appreciated the quality of the towels and that the bathrooms have heated floors. It was an easy 10 minute drive into downtown Petoskey for my conference.

This unit is exceptionally clean, stocked with all the necessities, and very well organized. The owners are very kind and personable. Communication was excellent. Softball Tournament Stay

This is a very beautiful apartment just outside of Petoskey. Very clean and felt like a home. Was convenient to get to town and waterfront. We enjoyed visiting with the goats as well! Such funny characters 😁. We will definitely return if our girls play in the softball tournament next year!!

Great Getaway

We had two weddings in one weekend and this was a perfect location for both. One wedding was in Ellsworth and the other was in Petoskey. We also had fun visiting Boyne Mtn's Skybridge, Walloon, and kayaking on the Bear River. Jeff and Shawn's place has everything you need. We'll definitely come back again.

We have lived on our property since 1986, and built both our home and the VRBO rental property. We enjoy our community as well as the surrounding communities, and all they have to offer. After our son and daughter-in-law built their own beautiful home and moved out of the apartment, we wanted to share our rental with others who enjoy beautiful Northern Michigan and everything it has to offer!
