Le cottage Element House est spacieux et charmant, situé à côté d'Element House sur une belle parcelle de 5 acres avec 3 acres de vignes. C'est calme et paisible avec des vues fascinantes.

Le chalet a 1 lit et 1 salle de bain. Le coin petit-déjeuner est équipé d'une table, d'un mini-réfrigérateur, d'un four micro-ondes et d'une cafetière. La salle de bain est grande avec une douche carrelée spacieuse. Commencez votre journée en profitant du soleil du matin et de la vue sur les vignobles environnants. Passez une journée à déguster des vins dans plus de 20 établissements vinicoles à proximité. Les vignobles de Fair Play Road ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Beaucoup d'autres activités de plein air sont des options pour vous avec la rivière Cosumnes à moins de 1,6 km. Vous êtes à distance de marche du marché local et du parc Pioneer. Terminez votre journée en admirant un magnifique coucher de soleil, puis en dégustant un verre de votre vin préféré en admirant le ciel étoilé de la Sierra Nevada.

Quick Overnight Stay

We decided on the spur of the moment to do an overnight stay and wanted to be near the wineries where we had club pickups. This was the perfect location!

Hidden Gem in the heart of wine country!

A wonderful cottage close to element 79 with a great set up that was comfortable for us and our 8 week newborn to share. Plenty of space heaters to keep us warm too :)

Nice retreat near multiple wineries

A great stay with only minor issues: (1) gate code was very temperamental and (2) you have to pull the cottage door towards you when trying to lock the door. Love the location. Close to wineries and a gas station.

No kids weekend

We always love coming to the Fairplay area. This was a new place to stay for us and we really enjoyed it. It has everything you need in a beautiful spot. Our only complaint is that the bed is really hard, too much for our liking. Get a foam mattress topper on there and it would be perfect.

Beautiful place

This was such a cute little cottage! It was our first time away in almost 3 years since we have kids so it was very special. Kelly allowed me to check in early so I could decorate the room to Surpise my fiancé . And when we got there, there was a welcome board personalized with our names and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.

The Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our short stay. The owner was very flexible with our changing arrival time. The one thing that maybe could be improved was the directions to the actual cottage once you are through the gate. We missed the immediate left turn ( was not it the directions) and since we arrived after dark it was a little more challenging to find the access. But we found it fairly quickly and enjoyed the place very much. Thank you!

Wonderful escape

My husband and I “escaped” from the confines of sheltering in place to attend a funeral nearby. It was a delight to stay at the cottage and to get a change of scenery. As soon as we walked in, the place smelled refreshingly brand new! It was charming, clean and fresh. The cottage was appointed with fluffy white towels, high-end soaps and lotions, a well appointed kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster and small fridge. The cottage also had access to a sunny seating area where we ate breakfast and dinner (Chinese takeout) outside with a view of the property’s vineyards. Because of Covid, we were unable to wine taste at the owner’s Element 79 winery, but we were greeted with a nice bottle of zinfandel from the vineyard in our cottage. We look forward to coming back when they re-open for tastings! The winery is as inviting and trendy as the finest Napa wineries. Met the owners and they were delightful people. We’ll be back!

Weekend stay

Everything was just wonderful! The cottage was very clean, welcoming, and quiet. We enjoyed staying there and celebrating our friends that got married in the area! We would recommend people to book, and stay there to relax and enjoy! The communication and help was superb as well! Thank you Kelly for all your help!

Wedding and Wineries Weekend

What started out as just a place to stay while attending a wedding in the area turned into a nice weekend get away. The Element Cottage was clean, comfortable and great place to relax after a day exploring area wineries and the historic town of Placerville. We will definitely return.

Clean, Quiet Cottage in the Vines

A wonderful overnight stay in a clean, quiet cottage in the vines. My only problem is we should have stayed longer. Checking in at Element 79 tasting room was delightful with a gorgeous view and wine tasting of their delicious wines. Our cottage awaiting us less than a mile away with a bottle of wine which we enjoyed as we watched the sun set over the vines with their autumn colors. Spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend. We will definitely return and plan a longer visit to explore the area. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

Nashville getaway

The property was perfect for our group of 6 mature adults. The property is well located and close to Printer's Alley and Broadway. Very comfortable with high ceilings and the large comfortable Living Room. We had a running pool competition for the 4 days we were there. So fun. We will rent again if available next time we return.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been big fans of the Fair Play / Somerset area for many years and have been coming up here to wine taste and cut our family Christmas Tree for many years. In 2015 we purchased the vineyard and created Element 79 Vineyards and Winery. We make Element House Cottage available to our club members and guests and also want to make it available to others that need a place to stay while they are enjoying all that the area has to offer.
