Lovely place.

Overall, this was a great and ideal place to stay. Condo was clean, efficient and the property manager was very sweet and accessible during our stay. Also, we were given directions on places to see and things to do, but definitely come back in the near future. Great location.

The property is beautiful. The only downfall was the stairs but once at the top, the hike up is forgotten. . View from the balcony is stunning. Everything needed for a great vacation was accessible. Would gladly come back again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Stanza Mare Gem

Really enjoyed our one month stay at Lynnette and Don's condo in Stanza Mare. The condo is very well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. The deck setup is very comfortable and the view is amazing. You can tell there is pride of ownership in the condo. The Stanza Mare complex is beautiful with all the plants and trees and a gorgeous pool at the center of it all with plenty of lounge chairs. The absolute best part is the stunning beach and ocean with plenty of palapas and beach chairs. The host Linda made the check-in/check-out and airport transportation seamless. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

best vacation spot yet

For a relaxing down south vacation this ticked all the boxes...it was everything the pictures showed and the descriptions on line were accurate. With 24/7 security we felt 100% safe. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed We went outside the condo area before dark several times where you can access small gift shops, grocery and liquor stores and everything was just a short walk. For grocery we took Uber to a jumbo grocery store and it had everything we needed. Our Hosts Lynn and Don we fantastic and we cant wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this condo unit at Stanza Mare! The condo was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and the complex is in very close proximity to groceries, restaurants etc. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Stanza Mare was fantastic. Linda was easy to work with and super helpful with any questions we had had throughout the week. Property was beautifully located with regard to beach access and allowed us to experience much of the local life. Several fantastic restaurants to choose from that met somewhat complicated dining requirements.

Condo in Punta Cana

Condo complex was extremely nice and clean, with great beach and pool area. Was a little disappointed in sleeping arrangements for 4 adults. Upstairs loft was difficult to access with spiral staircase and not very private. Bathroom for loft area was on first floor. But, who goes to Punta Cana to stay in room? Surrounding area had lots of restaurants, etc. Information provided at check-in was most helpful. Airport pick-up and return was flawless.

Great Condo, great location

We were very pleased with the condo and the hospitality of the on-site managers Linda and Vicente. We've rented several HomeAway units in various locations in the past and have never been greeted/treated as we were here. The condo was perfectly as described, and the location is ideal.

Fabulous condo complex

This condo was amazing! Clean , well kept, amazing staff. Linda was always there to help with questions. She was very personable, helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and friendly! The beach and pools were awesome and beautiful! It was a wonderful vacation and the unit was very nice and well equipped. We will be returning every year if possible. Beautiful, Comfy Place on the Beach!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay in this lovely condo unit, # G405!! It was exactly what we wanted -- a nice quiet place on the beach and within walking distance of all necessary shopping and great restaurants. The onsite poolside restaurant is perfect for breakfast or lunch (closes at 6pm) and there are several really good restaurants close by for evening dinners. The beach is amazingly beautiful! The large pool -- which is open until 10pm -- is also wonderful. We had a few tranquil nighttime swims. The managers, Linda and Vincent, live onsite and are amazing with communication and making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend staying here for a memorable Caribbean beach vacation!

Wonderful Time

We (husband and 2 boys 10 and 15) really enjoyed our time in the DR. Airport transport was seamless, quick check in, friendly staff, very clean facility. Enjoyed the pool everyday and found the on site restaurant great for lunch and drinks. The apartment was clean and comfortable with ample bedding and towels. kids enjoyed the loft but could see how it would be less ideal for older/bigger people due to stairs/bed size. Had a problem with the ac units going out but was swiftly fixed thanks to Linda. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony true to the photos. A short walk away are plenty of restaurants, shops, pharmacy, ATM, convenience and grocery store. Uber and quick and easy. Very friendly people we enjoyed visiting with. The beach has beautiful sand but was disappointed by the seaweed, smell it caused and dirty water right in front of the Stanza Mare, which we did not swim in. However the entire beach is public so you can walk just a short distance to find cleaner beach and water. As a whole I found this location to not provide a pristine beach if that is what you are looking for I suggest looking elsewhere. The water is murky and not good for swimming/snorkeling unless you take a boat further out. Some harassing especially at the “shopping plaza” but all other times a polite no thank you was adequate to be left in peace. Would not return as too many other islands to explore and disappointed in beach but enjoyed our time here.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful condo for a week--and could have stayed another month! The condo is beautiful, the pool wonderful, and the beach is stunning. We had a fabulous time relaxing on the beach, enjoying the pool at the condo, and mingling with other guests enjoying their Easter holiday. We were worried that things may be packed/busy/loud because we were there during the Semana Santa holiday, but everyone staying at the Stanza Mare was friendly, polite, and enjoying a lovely holiday. Not once did we feel that anyone was out of control or partying too hard---everyone was having a great time! We loved that our condo was private, overlooked the pool and the beach, and gave us the option to mingle with other guests at the pool and the bar. We loved being part of the Semana Santa holiday crowd and were not inconvenienced at all! The Italian place--D'Angelo's--has great drinks and food, and we LOVED the French Bakery up the street. But the best part---sitting on the beach and relaxing. There were always umbrellas and chairs available--any time of day, and we felt safe leaving our belongings on the beach when we were swimming. HIGHLY recommend this rental if you are looking for a relaxing, wonderful vacation! Can't wait to come back!

A gem!

My family and I just returned from a 7-day stay at this beautiful condo in Punta Cana. We absolutely did not want to leave, but as they say, good things sometimes have to come to an end! To begin, the communication from the property managers, Linda and Vicente, was excellent. Prior to our trip, we were sent a welcome packet of information that told us many pieces of helpful information. We chose to have Linda arrange for our airport transportation. Our driver was waiting for us and immediately grabbed all of our luggage to load in the van. It was a short 25 minute ride from the airport to the condo. The driver carried all our luggage for us! Linda greeted us upon arrival to show us around. As for the condo, we felt it was even better than the photos. The porch overlooking the pool was amazing. It was situated right on a gorgeous beach. You can walk/run for miles along the shoreline! There is a pool bar and eatery that is just for Stanza Mare residents/ renters right along side of the pool. Great drinks and okay food. It was open 7:00 am-6:00 pm. There were plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas available for us to use. At the beach, there were lounge chairs brought out every morning and placed under the thatched roof umbrellas. We did not need to rent a car during our stay. All the local restaurants and shops are just a few blocks from the condo. Water sports and excursions are close by, as well. We will definitely be back! I also loved that we could book Tues-Tues.

Great condo for family vacation

The condo was perfect for our family holiday. Having a separate sleeping area in the loft with twin beds made the condo especially suited for our two kids. The pool and direct access to the beach was also a big bonus as we saw several other condos where the residents had to walk to the beach. The arrival experience was excellent as Linda provided us with all the information we needed for our stay and was available on site for any questions. We arranged for airport pickup and drop off which was very convenient. We tried several local restaurants which were within easy waking distance and the small grocery store provided everything we needed for our stay. We even had a friendly fruit vendor that was parked on the street to provide delicious local fruit at a very reasonable price. We arranged surfing at Macao beach through Punta Cana Surf Adventures and we would highly recommend them to anyone interested in trying surfing. Overall the stay was excellent and we would recommend this condo for others looking to enjoy DR. The one drawback was that the area surrounding the condo is quite loud, dirty and busy, especially during rush hour. A few times we felt unsafe while walking to dinner as cars and mopeds were speeding by us on the very narrow sidewalk. Visitors should also be aware that as soon as they step on any beach or street they will pounced upon by vendors of all kinds which gets tiresome. Linda was very good at warning us to be wary of people selling excursions.

Wonderful Vacation

We just spent a week at the unit (6/10 - 6/17, 2023) and had a wonderful experience. The view was as advertised. We enjoyed a beverage on the patio every evening. I walked (to the right) on the beach each morning at 6am and felt very safe. Plenty of restaurants in the area of lunch or dinner. We ate breakfast and lunch in the room (simple sandwiches), and enjoyed a nice dinner. Walking on the streets to restaurants save a great deal of $$ over the beachfront restaurants. Unless you plan to cook full meals in the unit you do not need a grocery store stop @ the Jumbo market. We found the little shop around the corner from the unit had all that we needed. LVR arranged several excursions for us and each was a delight. Onsite restaurant had rave reviews from others. We found it to be "okay" not great. This could be b/c not in season. Check-in with LVR was great. Going to the complex office on Sunday to get our wristbands not as great of an experience. The person was 30 minutes late opening and only opened after some one went to the restaurant and basically dragged her back. She was chatting with her friend - we had breakfast there and saw her although at the time we did not know she should be in front office.

Wonderful!

Just spent 8 at this property and it was great. To start with, it was very easy to deal with the owners and make the reservation. The property managers, Linda & Vicente were just amazing. Linda set up our airport transfers and was at the condo to meet us . Vicente takes care of the property and took us back to the airport and it was great talking to him. The condo is just like the pictures, with that amazing view from the balcony. We did not do much cooking , but there is enough equipment there if you want to. The security is superb. The entire neighborhood is a very safe place and Stanza Mare has more security at the front gate at at the beach entrance. The beach area is beautiful with palapas and lounge chairs and although someone commented on the pool condition, we thought it was just fine and clean. We didn’t cook because of all the restaurants that you can walk to in a few minutes. There were some comments about the unit being on the 4th floor, but according to my calculations if you go up and downs those steps a few times a day you can have a nice margarita and calories don’t count! ( there are 51 steps !) Catch the fruit truck in the neighborhood and you can whip up a batch of wacamole for a couple dollars. I could go on and on, but this place has it all ! We plan on eventually returning to the neighborhood and will definitely check to see if this unit is available.

Great Relaxing Vacation

Wonderful condo is a very safe and restful property. Very quiet and the condo pictures represent exactly what you are leasing. Everything was pristine and in excellent working order. The property managers Linda and Vincente are fabulous. They picked us up from airport and we spent a day with Vincente on his tour to Samora Island. The trip was loads of fun but beware of the speed boat ride on the way home it is not for the faint of heart.They run a tour service also - LVR tours - excellent. Market and bakery are just a walking distance. Be sure and go to money exchange at a bank ( do not use airport money exchange- we were ripped off) before arriving to condo from airport. Dominician money is preferred at markets and eateries. The only negative of the property was the onsite bar and resturant. They spoke no English and the entire week could not prepare at least 1/3 of the things on the menu. We went several times and they never could prepare a hamburger which was on the menu. They also could not make a margarita!! I would point to the item on menu and they would shake their heads" NO". We ordered two beers and a rum and coke and got 1 beer and 2 pina coladas. This is the most important area in which I think property improvement could happen. Defintely several good resturants close- Eat at Asiain place - Bascani and the very very best was Outside In Bar. Fantastic !!!!! Overall, a wonderful property if you are looking for peace and quiet - which we were.There a few nightclubs close if that is your scene. The property with its beautiful beach (several cabanas for shade lovers and a nice security guard who runs off any kids trying to sell their wares), water and weather were FABULOUS! Can't wait to go back!

What an amazing trip my wife and I just had over the Christmas holidays. We've never rented a condo and I have to say the experience was absolutely incredible. The condo was perfect. It was beautifully maintained, clean and had all of the comforts you would expect from home. It was so close to all amenities and we never had to venture far to get what we needed. The markets were good and some highlights were - The French bakery, Balicana's (a delicious Asian restaurant), Le petit Jardin (Ate here twice serving wonderful French/Italian cuisine). The property itself was beautifully maintained. We spent most of our time at the pool, lounging in the sun. They have a newly opened restaurant called "Sharky's" which serves great food and provided wonderful poolside service. We didn't spend as much time on the beach as it was a windy week. But when we were there, the sand was beautiful and there were comfortable lounge chairs under tiki huts. Security took care to make sure the locals weren't pestering us, we had an amazing view. Lots of sights along the beach and highlight was "Captain Cook's" seafood restaurant. Super fresh and delicious. The only thing we didn't enjoy about our trip was the lack of snorkeling. There isn't really good snorkeling to do unless you pay for an excursion. This of course is a minor detail that was easily overlooked considering what else we had. Don, the condo owner was absolutely amazing getting us ready for our trip. He has a wonderful guest packet to prepare you for your trip, and when our flight got delayed overnight, he was awesome about helping us out over the phone to get a hold of the condo managers. The managers were Linda and Vicente. Both of them were always around to answer questions and were very genuine people. It was easy to lose track of time having a conversation with them. They go out of their way to make sure all guests are well looked after. Overall, it was one of the best holidays I've ever taken. Nothing beat sitting on the patio with a Presidente beer, watching the waves of the wonderful ocean view. I would recommend this condo 110% to anyone. If you're thinking about staying here, stop thinking and book it now. Thank you Don!

Location, Location, Location...

The decision to purchase at Stanza Mare was made based on a number of different criteria. The most important was finding a great location with excellent views of the ocean with a private beach. Our private beach is absolutely beautiful and is far superior to any other private community owned beach front in the Bavaro area of Punta Cana. It is truly awesome, as you will hopefully see for yourself.

"When we found Stanza Mare, we knew we found a true treasure in this caribbean island paradise!"

We also love the people, they are friendly, helpful and generally very happy. Punta Cana was unlike many other Caribbean destinations we have seen and we have traveled extensively in the Caribbean.

Having numerous great restaurants,cafes and bars, a "toes in the sand" beach bar/restaurant (Soles), and Tronco Beach restaurant located just steps from Stanza Mare private beach as well as a Wellness Center/Spa just yards away!
Being a very short walking distance from a grocery store, shopping, many restaurants and services were also very important in our decision making process.

Also, located only 15-20 minutes from Punta Cana International airport (PUJ) was a big plus.
