La ferme Tal-Hnejja a plus de cent ans et est un joyau de la vallée idyllique et renommée de Lunzjata. Cette région regorge de vestiges historiques, archéologiques et géologiques qui vous ramènent dans le temps où Gozo était un paradis pour peu d'habitants et riche en flore et faune. En quelques mots, c'est l'endroit idéal pour les vacanciers exigeants.

L'entrée se fait par un hall qui mène à une salle de petit-déjeuner à côté de la terrasse. Au premier étage, on trouve une cuisine ouverte / salle à manger / salon avec câble T. V., Wifi gratuit, DVD. Outre trois chambres pouvant accueillir huit personnes, elles offrent un hébergement confortable et toutes les chambres sont équipées de la climatisation. Ces unités sont reliées à un compteur de pièces. On trouve une télécommande dans chaque chambre. La chambre principale bénéficie d'une salle de bain en suite. Une douche supplémentaire est également disponible. Un lave-linge et une cuisine entièrement équipée sont également fournis. Une connexion Internet gratuite et un lecteur DVD sont également fournis. Fabulous farmhouse

The outside space was perfect for family of 5. The children spent a lot of time in the pool, despite it not being heated. We loved the scenic view from the terrace and balcony. The supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and bar in town made it easy to stay local if we didn't want to drive. Victoria is also walkable for a change of scene.

Spectacular views of Lunzjata valley. Good sized pool. Equipped with all necessities. Very helpful host. Only drawback - the pool is on the ground floor while all other rooms are on the 1st floor. Would have been convenient to have a small bathroom the ground floor

We loved the farmhouse, the area was beautiful and central, breezy and cool. The pool was wonderful and when we werent eating out, we cooked some lovely meals and ate them on the terrace overlooking the valley. This is a lovely and relaxed place to say and we'd highly recommend!!! Any questions we had were quickly answered by our lovely host who was just up the road.

Very nice, quiet location, easy access to Victoria.

We had a great week here. The villa is in a very quiet and peaceful location but also only about 20 min walk from the centre of Victoria. The host Maria is very nice and was available if needed but we didn’t need to call her as we had everything needed. The pool was great, the view is lovely and the property is spacious. All in all we found it met our needs very well. Thank you!

Lovely stay

Beautiful house with an amazing view. The house had a modern middle ages vibe. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. There are a few small things that could use an upgrade. A bit of new kitchenware and a bit more pressure in the showers can do the trick. But other than that a very characteristic place to stay and a very helpful and thoughtful host.

Very nice as always

We've stayed here (two adults, two kids 9 & 6) before but this time we also had my Mother, Father and Sister-in-law with us who were comfortably accommodated. Maria is local so was able to accommodate a later check-in due to already inconvenient and additionally delayed flight times. She also organised an airport shuttle for my in-laws whose return flights were much later so they didn't have to get up early. As well as generally looking after us very well. Almost certainly some, or all, of us will be back next June. See you then, Maria.

Lovely villa, great location

Had to find last minute alternative accommodation due to building work at original booking. This did not disappoint at all. Great location, only 15 to 20 mins walk to Ir-Rabat/Victoria. Pool was great and a good sized property. Maria was very helpful, quick and easy communication.

Pleasant accommodation

Nice house with plenty of character. It would have been nice to have been informed that there is a requirement to pay tax of 50c per person/per night. The swimming pool was adequate, the size of pool should have been listed. Previous reviews are misleading and that a car is required to visit the beach-45min bus journey otherwise.

Love this House

We had a fantastic 2 weeks family holiday at the Farmhouse and Maria was on hand when needed and prepared a nice welcome pack for us on arrival. There was a good cleaning service half way through and the pool was cleaned too. The pool itself was very nice with a good deep end (2m) and a shallow end for less confident swimmers. The property is exactly as advertised with coin operated A/C - allow about 4-6 Euro a night to keep all bedrooms cool during the very hot times. The WIFI is excellent and the TV has lots of good apps and channels if you or the kids want them. The village itself is very nice and quiet with a good restaurant and mini market round the corner (5-minute walk) and Victoria is only 20 minutes away and has great options to eat in St George's square. We liked the Grapes Wine Bistro a lot. Xlendi is a fantastic beach resort and only 5 minutes by car if you have one. If you do have a car don't always believe the Sat Nav/Google Maps as it may direct you down some streets that are clearly not fit for vehicles. Overall, we loved the property and its location and would love to come back one day

Beautiful farmouse in Kerçum

Lovely welcoming host happy to help with planning trips out. Kerçum has a nice, small local pub which does very reasonable meals and an amazing bakery ... David's bakery. The propery is 20 minute walk from the centre of Victoria down and up the small valley the property looks across. We came back feeling our batteries had been completely re-charged. I forgot to take home a piece of jewellery and Marie went out of her way to find it and post it to me by special delivery. It was back with me within 4 days. Great service from a lovely hostess. Thank you.

A memorable week

We had a great time on our stay in Kercem. The location is great to reach all of the island easily. We hired a car, which we were glad of, as we visited during a heatwave, but had it been a bit cooler, Victoria would have been a fairly easy stroll. The pool was a very welcome addition and got lots of use. The air con worked in all rooms with a coin operated system. Good size fridge and kitchen area, however we did find that more plastic cups for use by the pool would be appreciated. The shower by the outside pool got a lot of use with us, as it had good water pressure and was a nice temperature! Maria was a very welcoming host, easily contactable and on hand if needed. Thank you for the perfect home for a wonderful week spent snorkelling and exploring the beautiful island of Gozo!

This farmhouse has the potential to be a lovely holiday home but unfortunately it was very dirty and dusty when we arrived. The bedroom floors looked like they had not been properly scrubbed and mopped for a long time. Stairs had not been mopped. There were clumps of dust hanging from the ceilings and walls, bird's nesting in the air vents of the walls. The bathroom tiles were filthy dirty, greasy and full of grime with previous guest's hair left around the bath. The bathrooms are also very old and looking quite tired. We did not feel comfortable using the bathrooms. After 2 days I found old chewing gum stuck under one of the bedroom rugs and clumps of dust and hair under the bed. It was clear the house had not been deep cleaned for a long time which is disappointing especially after the pandemic. When I informed the owner with photos she offered to send a maid to clean the house again but by that time we did not feel comfortable staying in the house any longer and we cut short our holiday by 3 nights. When I requested our money back for the remaining nights the owner refused to take responsibility and do the honest thing, even though it was obviously not our fault she had not ensured the house was properly cleaned. Her relative then accused me of putting the chewing gum on the floor myself which I found quite insulting, especially as none of us chew gum. Needless to say we will be staying elsewhere when we visit Gozo.

Vacances à Gozo

Belle semaine dans la vallée de Kercem dans une ferme à caractère rustique. Mary nous a reçu avec le nécessaire pour un premier petit déjeuner. La maison est comme la description, avec la vue sur la vallee et la piscine. Les chambres sont bien et les lits confortables. La clim est un must en été vue la chaleur, et il faut payer pour l'utilisation. Compter environ 5 euro par nuit juste pour les chambres. La cour étant située sud-est, le soleil y est présent dès le levée du soleil, et la piscine est grandement appréciée. Facile de marcher à Victoria ou de prendre le bus. Même si ceux-ci ne roule plus passé 22h, nous revenio ns à pieds facilement. Seule bémol, la pression d'eau un peu faible, et pas facile de calibrer pour une temperature juste. Bref, une belle semaine reposante, je recommande si vous ne cherchez pas un 5 étoiles à la dernière mode.

Zentrale Lage für alle Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Geräumiges Haus mit Grill am Pool und allen wichtigen Haushaltsgeräten. Die Gastgeberin hat sogar für das erste Frühstück vorgesorgt.

Rustic get away in great location

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s property. The house is a traditional Gozan villa and is in a great location - easy walking distance to Victoria and Xlendi. The pool and outdoor area are great for relaxing and dining. Maria was very attentive and met us on our first day to show us the facilities and tell us about some local events. She also left us milk, eggs and other treats in the fridge which was very kind and helpful for our first night. We really enjoyed our stay but would like to point out that some of the facilities could do with modernisation. One of the toilets was very difficult to flush, a shower didn’t have a hook so you had to hold the head over you while bathing and the water never became colder than tepid no matter how long you ran it. As we were there in a really hot period this meant it was very difficult to cool down. Overall a great stay and we’d go back, but worth baring in mind for others who’d find those factors challenging.
