Beach Vibes on Barbara is an inviting holiday home in a great location in Whangamata. The Bach has three bedrooms. Two of them have queen beds, and the third is in the garage and has two sets of bunk beds and a queen bed. The top bunks are only suitable for children or teenagers. The garage is lined and carpeted, so it is very comfortable. It's a great space for teenagers, as it has a flat-screen TV.
There are two bathrooms in the home and a laundry with a washing machine and laundry tub.
The open-plan living and dining is a warm welcoming space with comfortable seating in the lounge and a dining table that seats four, with extra seating at the kitchen bench. Guests will also find a great window seat, a relaxing spot to catch up on some holiday reading. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need for your stay including a dishwasher.
If you open the large doors in the lounge it allows the cool summer breeze through and it will take you to a great deck with an outdoor table and chairs under a shade sail, the BBQ is on the deck as well. There is a great lawn area perfect for the kids to run around on and parking for the car and boat.

Whangamata is about an hour and a half from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga and is a popular coastal town with a fantastic surf and swimming beach. Take a kayak tour to Donut Island or take a trip or hike to Wentworth Falls. There are plenty of shops and cafes in the town take a drive out to Opoutere Beach and check out the Coastal Bird Reserve or grab your paddleboard and head to the estuary where the waters are a bit calmer. Let's not forget that Whangamata is home to the famous Beach Hop held every March for a week where vintage cars, caravans and motorbikes from around NZ are showcased. Vintage markets are operating and it's a family-friendly party atmosphere not to be missed!
