Carinya Cove backs on to Caves Road and is located a short 10-minute walk (2-minute drive) from the centre of Dunsborough.

The Space:
This spacious, pet friendly 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house is perfect for families or friend groups looking to unwind in comfort. With its expansive layout, stunning outdoor spaces, and top-notch amenities, it’s the ideal place for a relaxing getaway by the beach, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Property Features:

4 Bedrooms: Generously sized rooms with plush bedding, accommodating up to 8 guests. The master suite, located in its own wing of the house, offers a private oasis with an en suite bathroom and private courtyard, while the other rooms are perfect for the whole family or friends.

3 Bathrooms: Family bathroom with bath, shower, vanity and separate WC, and ensuite for the master bedroom with dual vanity, shower and enclosed WC.

The third bathroom is located in the pool house (detached from the house), complete with shower, vanity and WC and a kitchenette.

Theatre Room: Enjoy a true cinema experience with comfortable seating and smart TV for the ultimate relaxing and cosy night in.

Indoor & Outdoor Living:

Relax in the open-plan living space, featuring an inviting gas fireplace for winter warmth and ducted air conditioning for year-round comfort.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house (except for one small storeroom), attached two car garage and outdoor areas of the property. The large garage behind the security gate and rear block is not available for guest use.

Carinya Cove is located a short 10 minute walk to Dunsborough town centre, close to Coles, Woolworths and Southcamp (nearest pub!), so all your basic needs are covered nearby. Drive straight out to Yallingup or Eagle Bay without navigating town traffic, or walk into town without the stress of finding a park. Dunsborough playing fields are just around the corner, if anyone fancies a kick about on the oval.

Dunsborough is the jewel of the South West region, located on the beautiful shores of Geographe Bay. At low tide, the beach has shallow, clear waters, perfect for kids to play and splash around safely, and on a nice day you will find happy groups of visitors and locals alike paddling, floating, fishing and boating in the serene waters of the bay. Just outside of town there are some more secluded beaches, like Curtis Bay and Meelup.

Dunsborough is home to many lovely local boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants, and provides a hub for everyone to enjoy good shopping, food and entertainment. A laidback coastal town with a lovely community feel, it experiences a large swell in population during high season, yet you would be amazed how peaceful holidaying here can still be, thanks to beautiful surrounding bush, leafy suburbs and long stretches of pristine beach.

It's not just about summer here, despite its popularity thanks to the glorious weather; all year round, even when we may be less blessed with warm days and sunny skies, visitors can enjoy hikes, biking, surfing, off-roading, horse riding, cave tours, water sports, fishing, wine and beer tasting, and generally eating and drinking one's way around the area! Visit in spring to catch the whale migration and wild flower season, or in autumn to enjoy quieter beaches and excellent surf.

The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.

Getting Around:
Dunsborough has a number of walking and bike paths, meaning that it is very easy to get around on foot and any wheels of your choice. We are fortunate to have a couple of local businesses offering bike hire, and Dunsborough has recently been included in an e-scooter initiative. Carinya Cove is an easy 10 minute walk from town, and a 5 minute bike ride to the beach, so no need to hop in the car if you want to stay local. Visitors wishing to explore the surrounding area will need a car.

Important information for pet owners - please be aware of the following factors at this property:
1. There is a lot of wildlife (rabbits, quenda, possums, bobtails, giant skinks, snakes) present around the property; please take extra care that your pets and our wildlife stay safe.
2. The rear area of the property is fully fenced, but may not be escape-proof for all sized dogs, e.g. small dogs may be able to slip through the bars of the security gate (see photo provided). Please review the property carefully and ensure it is suitable for your pet(s) before booking.
3. The front yard is not fully fenced.

All linen is provided (excl. beach/pool towels). All of our accommodation is fully self-catered, and as a courtesy we provide a basic starter pack for each stay, including: soap, toilet rolls, tea, coffee & sugar, basic cleaning products, and some cooking essentials (oil, salt & pepper). We provide these items to help kick-start your holiday in a stress-free way, but guests are responsible for the ongoing supply of anything they should require beyond the starter pack provided.
