Mountain Remedy is a charming, upscale mountain getaway, with five (5) sleeping areas plus a sleeper sofa in the lower den. It is perched on Appalachian Ski Mountain near the parkway and has easy access to Blowing Rock and Boone. An ideal location with Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Bass Lake, and Trout Lake all within five (5) miles. Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain Resort are less than eighteen (18) miles away, and the village of Valle Crucis is only twelve (12) miles away. Skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, fishing, hiking, bouldering, snow tubing, zip lines, white water rafting, kayaking, and much more are at your fingertips when you stay at Mountain Remedy!

The main level has vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceilings and hardwood floors. The open-concept space features a generous great room. The great room features designer leather furniture, a wood-burning stone fireplace, a large HD Smart TV, a two-seat game/card table, and plenty of room to spread out. The great room and dining area both enjoy sweeping, long-range mountain views. The kitchen offers stainless appliances, granite countertops, wood floors, and custom cabinetry. The kitchen is open to the dining area and a great room as well. The banquet-style dining table seats ten guests. There is a central glass door that leads out to an open-air deck. The deck, furnished with two outdoor dining tables, a stainless gas grill, and ample seating, has expansive views of the Blue Ridge. The lushly landscaped front yard has a wood-burning fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating! Although open with long-range views, this property is also wooded and private. Enjoy the shaded swinging bench nestled among the native rhododendrons.

Two king suites flank each side of the great room. The primary master suite has a king bed, a bay window, access to the open-air deck, a large HD Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second king suite has mountain views, a large HD Smart TV, and access to a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo and granite vanity. Although technically ensuite, this bathroom is accessible from the living area without going into the bedroom, making it convenient for general daytime usage.

The cozy loft is set up with two twin beds and serves as a fifth sleeping area. The views from the loft might well be the best in the house. A large picture window allows sunlight into the great room and provides priceless mountain views.

The lower level features a second kitchen with a double stainless sink, a full-sized fridge and freezer, oven and cooktop, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. The den and game room, furnished with a wood stove fireplace, a foosball table, an HD Smart TV, and a comfortable leather queen sleeper/sofa, are on this level. An exterior door leads out onto the covered lower deck with Adirondack-style seating and the hot tub! There are two bedrooms on the lower level. One is a queen bedroom and has an HD Smart TV and good views. The other is a bunk bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed and an HD Smart TV. The lower level has a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo.

Two dogs, up to 50 pounds, are welcome with your reservation additional pet fees apply. Central heating and air conditioning, washer and dryer, wood-burning fireplace and wood-stove, Starlink Satellite WiFi internet, HD Smart TVs with YouTube TV programming, a Foosball table, hot tub, games and puzzles, and more are all part of the fun at Mountain Remedy!
*Allows pets with an additional fee paid after booking. The fee is $35 per pet per day.

Cancellation Policy:
Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund.
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund.
