Welcome to Apex Peak! Luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the TOP floor of the Founder's Pointe building with soaring ceilings and views of the mountains. You will love the expansive views from your adirondack chairs on your private balcony! This spacious unit will easily accommodate 6 adults with all the comfort and conveniences of home. Relax with family and friends in the well appointed living room featuring comfortable sofas, a large flat screen tv and a cozy fireplace.

Enjoy preparing meals as you gather in the large kitchen with all stainless steel appliances. Spread out at the dining with seating for 6, or the additional breakfast bar with 3 additional padded stools. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV and plenty of room to stretch out. The primary bedroom has a new King mattress for a great nights rest, and ensuite bathroom with separate walk-in shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom features a Queen bed, and an additional Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Apex Peak offers a washer and dryer in unit too. This unit as it all!

Located in Winter Park Village's newest building, you can walk off the slopes and into one of the many shops, restaurants or bars located at the base. The kids will love the short walk from ski school and sipping hot cocoa on your private balcony. At the end of the day you can enjoy the amenities deck featuring a large spa, grills and lounge chairs to relax and soak up the good times. Apex Peak also offers a private ski locker on the first floor to conveniently grab your gear as you walk out the door, approximately 600 feet, to get those first fresh powder turns. Jump into all Winter Park has to offer from world class skiing, boarding, tubing, snowshoeing, snow machining, hiking, biking, fishing, concerts and festivals. The bus stop is across the street and gives you free access to all of Winter Park!

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Elevations by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 2 weeks prior to arrival by email and text message.

The booking prices during this time are reflective of hot tub/amenities deck closure and construction discount. No further discounts or refunds will be given related to hot tub closure/construction. If you wish to cancel, you will need to do so within 24-hours of creating the booking or within the cancellation period window in order to receive a refund. If you have any questions, please message us.

Getting Around:
The property is located at Winter Park Resort in the Fraser Crossing/Founders Pointe Building. We are located right across from the free community bus, "The Lift". Download The Lift Rider App to see departure and arrival times of the bus and destinations. Local Amtrak service is available at different times of the year in Winter Park and Fraser.

Traveling to Winter Park Resort:

During winter months, Colorado has a statewide traction law which requires a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle to drive on Colorado roads. We are located in a high altitude mountain climate. Snow can occur at any time during winter months. Failure to have a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle will likely result in being unable to reach your vacation rental. No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions. We encourage all guests to consider 3rd party travel insurance if they have travel concerns.

Interaction with Guests:
Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Elevations by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.

This condo is in the perfect location I almost hate to review it bc don’t want too many people to know about this gem!! The kids didn’t want ti leave From the location (literally walk across the street to the village) the giant (hot!)hot tub, cleanliness and roominess of the unit it was Perfect!! We’ll be back! This is a hard review for us to write because you can tell the owners take great pride in this unit. Has plenty of character, board games, and well decorated. Great 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with a quick walk to the slopes and food/shopping. It seems by reading reviews that the owners turned it over to Portoro homes to manage sometime this year. We were pretty disappointed with how the property was managed. The complex has a great pool/hot tub that we typically enjoy. We found out that this was closed in April which was not disclosed in the listing when we booked. There are several other units that disclose this. We got an email about 5 days before our stay that the hot tub area was still closed, well past the cancellation date. When we asked about it, we were told “it was out of their control”, even though they knew about it when we booked several months earlier. Friends of ours booked a similar unit and received an 800 discount for “construction”. We never asked for that amount to be refunded, but appreciate the up front discount offered by a different management company/owner. The property management company supplies 4 1-oz bottles of shampoo regardless of how long your stay…definitely not on par with this price point. They do not respond to messages on vrbo, only through email. Also, you will pay your entire stay up front, not in installments as advertised on VRBO. We were truly torn on whether or not to be honest in our review. We just felt that if it wa

Not the first time to Winter Park Resort and I will say the location is perfect if your wanting to be as close to the slopes and all the pavilion has to offer. The unit was in perfect condition and very homey. My wife and I and our children (5 and 11) felt perfectly at home. It was clean, beautiful and had a perfect view of the mountain. The icing on the cake if your dealing with good, honest people . I left around $250 cash in my nightstand, my wife called (about 1 hour) after we left a and they said “no worries we’ll be sure to get it and send it to you” and they sure did! It’s good to know your doing business with folks like this anymore. our 4 night stay and skiing trip were amazing! Don’t miss staying here. Thanks to the host. See you again soon!

Manager just doesn't care. We never had heat for 5 days, we left. Told to use oven and fireplace. February, -6 degrees and no heat. in either bedroom etc. Crying children because they are so cold. Lied to us for 5 days. Provided no portable heaters and refused to send a competent repair person. Vacation ruined by lazy dishonest incompetent Management.

Brilliant property for ski vacay

Wonderful property especially for a ski vacation. Easy flat walk to the Gondola (maybe 3 minutes?). Beds are comfortable. Amply stocked with utensils, plates and pots/pans/etc. Balcony overlooks the hot tub courtyard with a brilliant view of the mountain. Great showers (VERY important after a day on the slopes). Top floor so no sounds of ski boots above your head. Parking is inside a heated garage which was WONDERFUL. Be aware that it is an extra daily cost but worth every penny. (Host is very upfront about this with clear instructions on how to get this set up before arrival.) Speedy response from host before our stay and I'd assume there would have been a similar speedy response during the stay...but we didn't have any issues so no need to contact the host. VERY easy check-in/out process as the unit is keypad controlled. Ski lockers on first floor are a wonderful amenity meaning no need to lug heavy equipment to the condo. Elevators work well which is nice given the 6th floor condo. Easy access (remember that 3 minute walk?) to the Winter Park Village and a short drive (or bus I think...but we had a car) to the town of Winter Park (with ample restaurants and the like). This condo is now on our "repeat list" when we return to Winter Park.

We will return to this unit. I can't give a more glowing recommendation than that. It was clean, spacious and fit our family of five perfectly. The furniture is comfortable and the dining room table was great for our family meals. The ski locker is large and easy to access. You can't get any closer to the Winter Park Resort Village and base area lifts. The hot tub is spacious, clean and offers a great view of the ski area. We had over 30" of cold snow while we were there and the skiing was terrific. The hosts are very accessible and easy to communicate with. We will return and had a terrific visit. Highly recommended.

Great condo at Winter Park

This is the second year that we rented this condo and it is perfect. Kitchen is well equipped and we cooked thanksgiving dinners in it two years in a row. Perfect location with an easy walk to lifts. Condo is exactly as shown and Michelle is fantastic about responding to questions.

Wonderful ski vacation

The property was perfect for a family of 5! It was clean and cozy with great furnishings and had all the essentials. It had a spacious, comfortable living area to hang out and a large dining table. It was close to the slopes, had a convenient ski locker and the underground garage was perfect in the snow! It was a great family ski trip location!!!
