We had a great experience. Very clean and close to everything.

The property was clean and well kept. We could walk to the games and restaurants. We are in our late life( 75) and found we could still do the stairs. It is very safe area and the walking path is awesome. Just an awesome experience.

Dunedin great stay!

Property was as described. Excellent location, walkable to downtown, restaurants and shops. Very near the Pinellas trail which is great for walking and biking. Very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Walkable VRBO in Dundedin!

Loved our stay at the Hawk’s Nest. There are steps to enter the unit, but didn’t deter us from having a great time! The Pinellas Trail is just one block away. We walked to the American Legion, Eddies for a meal and trivia, the Hog Island Seafood Fish Shack for dinner and Trivia, even walked to downtown Dunedin and ate at the Living Room. It is just a five mile bike ride to Honeymoon Island. The unit itself is very comfortable. No stove though. So we brought a small hot plate to boil our eggs for breakfast. Great water pressure for showers and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub outside was nice as well. A great place to stay if you are in the Dunedin area!

Clean Comfortable Apartment

My wife and I enjoyed our one week stay at the Hawk’s Nest . Being located only a block from the Bay and only a block from the Pinellas Trail it is ideal for walkers , runners, and bicyclists, as well as bird watchers as there are a number of Osprey in the area and we even saw an eagle. While it is located on a busy street we had no problems sleeping— and the bed is comfortable. Accessing the apartment does involve negotiating a set of outdoor stairs and a set of indoor stairs so it is not ideal for everyone , but even though we are senior citizens it was not a problem and even provided us with some more exercise. The apartment is spartan - no stove/oven and a mini fridge- but it had everything we needed and was a good excuse for us to eat out more at the very good restaurants in Dunedin, many in or near downtown and within walking distance. The place is very clean and well maintained. It was oerfect for a week’s stay for us .

Fabulous location

Stayed for 5 nights to attend Blue Jays spring training. Great spot for a reasonable price. The unit was clean, close to the key spots, had everything we needed and the jacuzzi/firepit were an amazing cherry on top. Had one minor wifi issue which was quickly remedied. I would highly recommend this location.

Great place

Great area 1 block from the bike trail with many parks and honeymoon island close. Walking distance to cute town with many restaurants and breweries. Enjoyed the hot tub after long bike rides. Very clean with comfortable bed and nice bedding. Only negative was the busy highway noise heard from the balcony area but a nice shady street on the bay with beautiful sunsets was enjoyed instead.

Great for Couples

This one bedroom unit is perfect for two people. Everything is as you see it in the photos. Yes, traffic noise is a small issue but it's a minor trade off to be within walking distance of the fabulous Dunedin downtown.

Dunedin property near Pinellas Trail

The property is clean with all the advertised amenities and a few more. The owner is upfront about the property being on the 3rd floor and near a busy road which can be noisy. However, we a a short walk to many nice restaurants, shops, bike rentals as well as the Pinellas Trail. If you like to bike and jog, this location is perfect. Behind the property are beautiful water views with nearby parks which are easy walking distance. The spacious parking is underneath the building so it always covered. We were disappointed that we were charged a cleaning fee but were told that we had to strip the bed, empty trash and recycling as well as do the dishes. It took us several tries to get in touch with the host before we were able to check in. After that, she was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful place

We were very comfortable at Hawks Nest. Lovely unit. Convenient location. We had beautiful walks along the water and enjoyed trolley rides to Tarpon Bay and Clearwater beach area. Good restaurants.

Great Location

you can walk anywhere you want to go from this location (peaceful walk down Victoria or over to downtown). There is some street noise as the bedroom backs up to street, but it did not bother us. This was all we needed for a long weekend, a place to sleep.

Unfortunately, would not return.

Very clean space with comfortable bed. Other furnishings comfortable at best. Communication and ease of getting in we’re all excellent. However, the photos do not give you a realistic idea of the exterior spaces. The deck space, hot tub, fire pit, etc. back up to an extremely busy, noisy thoroughfare with a rather dilapidated motel and convince store across the street from the deck. On a better note, a short walk behind the home brings you to a beautiful quiet lane where the sunsets are spectacular.

Convenient Location

This was our first trip to Dunedin, and the Hawk's Nest provided a great way to see the town. It is close to almost all of the downtown restaurants and breweries and, other than a trip to the nearby Honeymoon Island State Park, we never had to move our vehicle. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed for our three night stay.

Should have sheer curtain on patio sliding door since busy street with busy gas station across the street.. for night time privacy.. and on small windows in kitchenette area. Also.. 3rd or 4th step on stairs inside condo has loose carpet… a hazard walking down.. Also a pen with notepad would have been helpful and scissors to remove tags from purchased clothing. A beach umbrella would have been nice to go along with the beach chairs.. Really appreciated the place being clean.

Great Dunedin getaway!!!

This is a great apartment for two! Perfect size, comfortable and very convenient location to downtown Dunedin and the Pinellas trail. Also a quick drive to Honeymoon Island which is a wonderful beach! Also close to many local breweries! We highly recommend it!

1st visit to Dunedin

Property was easy to find. It was in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Condo was very clean. I loved the laundry in the unit! Best of all was relaxing in the hot tub at night. We had a small leak in the air conditioner and Katie responded and fixed it immediately. Great place 5 stars!
