This amazing, 1st floor unit in a 1930 Tudor home was just updated with modern amenities while keeping the old charm like stained glass windows. This comfortable, 2 bed 1 bath unit is within walking distance to all that St. Charles has to offer. .4mi to the Arcada and walking distance to Everything downtown from Restaurants and breweries to shopping. Located just 2 blocks from the river and Mount St. Mary Park and the Fox River Bike path Trail.
Strict Covid cleaning requirements

The house is a 2-flat and this unit is the first floor. Both apartments have separate heating and cooling including central heat and air. This unit also has exclusive use of the unfinished basement which has a washer and dryer. The Single car wide driveway is also exclusive for this unit.

Best host, great location!

We had a last minute trip. Host responded immediately. Home was adorable and as advertised. Location is walkable to downtown breweries and eateries etc. LOVED IT!

St Charles family trip

We had an excellent 3 day stay at this in-town St Charles location. The owner was very responsive to communications, even letting us in a bit early for check-in. The property was spotless - everything was nice and comfortable. Can't wait to come back again. Thank you.

A comfortable and convenient spot!

This was our second stay (or was it our third?) in Jeff's Tudor. A great location, close to shopping & eating in St Charles & Geneva. Quiet, roomy, & comfortable with a respnsive host.. Only caveat is the somewhat steep front steps.

We've tried several hotels while visiting family in Chicago, decided to rent a house this time, it was a good decision, much more privacy, more relaxing. This house in particular was great,beautiful neighborhood, don't regret it.

Amazing House

The cutest house and an amazing location within very close walking distance to downtown St. Charles. Host was amazing and house was in pristine condition - very clean and great accommodations. Will 100% be sure to return - highly recommend!

Super clean, comfortable convenient stay!

Jeff is a great communicator; the house is well stocked and comfortable. The location is unbeatable and in walking distance of some of the best parts of Saint Charles. Would highly recommend!

Perfect reunion spot

Charming cottage in a super convenient location in St. Charles. We loved all the historic details of the house, and it was just right for my parents and I. The location couldn't be beat--we were just a 5 minute drive from the friends we were visiting. Though it's off a busy street, it was also very quiet. Would stay here again!

Absolutely Wonderful! 5 Stars all around!

This property was so cute. The location was absolutely perfect being in a very nice neighborhood where we felt 100% safe walking our dogs or going into the town..which is just a couple blocks down the street. Tons of fun places to go and see. The unit was clean and comfortable and as expected. Communication with the owner was prompt and we had zero issues while we were there. Definitely hoping to rebook there again soon!

Accurately described and perfect location

This property was exactly as described and very clean - was a block or two from downtown St. Charles and minutes drive to Geneva (my favorite). It was 4.9 miles from Lamplight equestrian center where I was competing. Check in was a little sticky - I didn't get instructions ahead of time and the code did not work - I called Jeff, he answered and immediately resolved the issue. Would stay there again!

Lovely Tudor Home in downtown St. Charles

Very clean, comfortable, spacious home with everything one would need. The kitchen was very well equipped.Excellent television coverage and convenient to restaurants, grocery, breakfast cafes l, and wine bars. We had dinners at two of the restaurants and they were exceptional. Close to walking along the Fox River. Jeff was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. We will be back the next time we are in the area!

Quaint and comfortable

Stayed here with three kids for a lacrosse tournament in Elgin. Ventured into Geneva and Chicago in our free time. Lots of restaurants nearby. Kitchen had adequate supplies and I cooked a few meals. House is old and creaky, so the upstairs neighbors couldn’t help but make noise sometimes. Otherwise, they were very quiet and we tried to be as well. Would stay here again. Loved the area on the Fox River!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, roomy, and well-appointed

Not enough complimentary words to describe this property! The first floor of a tastefully updated older house; new windows; new appliances; new furnishings; a very well equipped kitchen; the bed we used was very comfortable (and the property is replete with thoughtfully placed night lights!); and a killer air conditioner! We were here through an August heat wave and were very comfortable. Add the location (should I have done that first?). Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in downtown St. Charles; Two miles to the shops and restaurants on Third Street in Geneva! In a neighborhood of updated early 20th century homes; on a corner lot, but the new windows insulate from most traffic noise. Excellent WiFi; large TV with Direct TV & WiFI. Add on a responsive owner and you have a winner! We will be back!

A fantastic Thanksgiving getaway!

I periodically return to the Tri-cities to visit my son's. Jeff's property is first rate, clean and we'll a pointed. We had a great time! Excellent communication with host, prompt responses and very accommodating. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Perfect location!

I’m a St. Charles native and was back in town for a wedding. This home was the perfect distance from downtown, where everything is a 5 minute walk away! We enjoyed the historic nature of this home and it’s touch of modern renovations. Very clean and comfy, we would definitely stay again provided the opportunity to return to STC!

Very cozy

Great location as soon as you walk in you feel like your home ... I loved it I have stayed at a lot of places and this one was one of the best.. if I was to change anything I wished there were more then one TV.. I had workers we were here for the scarecrow fest in st Charles and every worker had different tastes on what to watch other then that this was close and absolutely perfect.... if they'll have me I'll be back next year.....

This property has so much character! It was built in 1930 in a great downtown St. Charles location. The stained glass windows in the living room and dining room and the beams in the ceiling mixed with the arched front door and entry way just make this an amazing architectural gem that I couldn't pass up! It is built in the English Tudor Style which was re-popularized in the 1930s in the US and we have brought parts of that English heritage into this unit using artwork.
