ABOUT SPLASH BEACH RESORT
Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi located right next to the main kids play area where the water slides and enormous bucket that dumps hundreds of gallons of water every 45 seconds are located. There is also a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river. There is a poolside Bar & Grill with tables by the pool and a reasonably priced menu. There is an Alvin's Island beach apparel, accessories and surf shop. Also, there is a mini grocery store, coffee and ice cream shop located onsite, giving Splash just about everything that most guests need on their vacation so that they need not leave until they are ready to check out.

Great Spring Break Trip

Perfect stay for our group of two families! Only complaint was from the kids wishing the water play area was heated.

Great for the family who just wants to beach.

The property was amazing. The only issues I had were the pool water smelled funny and it was hard to get an elevator at check out. We waited with bags packed for an hour to catch one. There is not a fan on the elevator either so it could be quite stuffy.

Beautiful room!

Loved the room and kids area at the pool! Only disappointment was that they had listed there was a coffee shop and there was no coffee shop.

Family beach trip.

Check in process was easy. Got door code and instructions before we arrived. We arrived later than 4pm so had just had to do check in next morning, but got into condo that night easily. Once we walked into the condo, it appeared to be clean but further inspection dirty floors, trash under couch, mold of some sort on master bath ceiling. Some storage in fridge/freezer broken(no big deal.) After a day or two, we all had started to smell something foul in kitchen/living area. As we inspected further, under the kitchen sink, someone had placed a large cooking pot that had been collecting water(leaking from sink I guess.) We notified housekeeping and they told us someone would come remove it but never did. The elevators had long lines(to be expected at busy season) but not enough luggage carts. We could not unload til next morning. Overall enjoyed our stay but wish some things could have been better.

Horrible experience,they forgot to clean and they need good repair

We come to Splash resort every year for 5 years and this time we got horrible condo.When we came (driving for 13 hours straight) it wasn’t clean after previous ppl,it was really really dirty ,even check in at 4 and we came at 6!When I called they said so sorry everything will be really clean in 2 hours just go swimm.And they said they will return cleaning fee back to us$,but they never did,when I call they said sorry we don’t have and notice about that!!!So we go get dinner and swam and come back around 9 the cleaning lady with helper was just finishing.So after they clean it wasn’t so clean,I had to clean after them.Looks like this condo didn’t had good cleaning for at least a year.Looks like they just changing sheets and wipes a little in bathroom and kitchen.Plus a lot of things are broke like almost every towel hanger.I was so mad at them. And the price for this condo much more than others good one.

Unit review

The overall property was great. Our unit, however, needed attention. The towel rack was barely on the wall. Pictures were hanging by threads. The sinks were stopped up. There was blood on the sheets of the bottom bunk and sand in the top bunk. The ladder to the top bunk was sticky. I would stay at Splash again but would not choose that unit. I have no idea about other units but if there are no better then I will not be back to Splash.
