Beautiful House

Although there were many houses around, the trees helped to make this home feel private. We loved the jet tub and walk in shower.

Very nice

This place is secluded in the woods and a short walk to the ocean. The pier was around 1 1/2 mile beach walk away. We stayed a week and this was the first vacation where I wasn’t ready to go back home when it was done.

Dated but quaint

Overall decent stay. Pictures are definitely dated- house is more worn, shrubbery and trees way overgrown, etc. There really isn’t a bad location on Topsail Island so the spot was good. We had issues checking in, and were never given our own secure entry code that worked. The property is slowly being taken over by huge black ants - inside and out. The house came with beach toys/chairs/boards - definite plus.

Family trip

When we arrived to our house, the grass yard was unkept. Grass was high. The parking area was dirty, with trash laying around and also run down filling. The AC case was off. (Later unfortunately found out the AC wasn’t working on the main sleeping for (we were not informed). They had window units in the bedrooms on that floor but one didn’t work at all. The kitchen was not stocked well (especially for a large family cooking in most days) pots were in really bad condition, cooktop vent would not stay. The ice/water are broken on the fridge. When we got there and went to use it the whole facing fell off. There were half smoked cigars left on the main deck area. Dirty clothes and trash on the 1st floor deck. The door handles to two of the rooms were falling off and we had to tighten them up before they fell off. Tried to vacuum but the vacuum doesn’t have weeks. The couch was disgusting, full of sand and a vape pen. Took it apart and cleaned it ourselves because no one wanted to sit on it. The main bedroom mattress pad is falling apart, but we still used it because the mattress is yellow and pretty gross. The unit itself is sat back in the woods, and a easy walk to the beach. A lot of construction going on so it was loud starting at 7am. This unit could be a great unit with a little TLC. Someone needs to come in and do a overhaul of pots and pans and kitchen utensils. We had to wash a mattress pad in the bunk room because it had blood on it. Also a vacuum would help.

Great location, pet friendly, private

Wonderful location and easy access to surf city and the beach (100-yard walk). Love that it is pet-friendly. Lots of trees which makes it very private. The only downside is that it gets buggy due to the trees but nothing terrible. The inside is excellent with everything you could need. Would stay here again! :)

Perfect location for peace and quiet.

Great location. Very close to the beach but nestled away from pretty much anyone. Floor plan was laid out perfectly so the living area was the center of the home. Would love to stay again in the future.

Treetop Views

This location has as unique feel to it. Look out the many windows and feel as though you are living up in a tree. Yet the beach is only a short walk away. It provides privacy in a great location.

Relaxing and beautiful!

The house and views are exactly how they are pictured. We had trouble with a door knob that was broken when we got there and the host sent someone the same day to fix it. We loved this house and would definitely stay again!
