Cute Cottage in Midtown

This is a cozy, clean, simple cottage. Perfect for traveling health care workers, couples or singletons wanting to be close to everything! Please note that this unit is located in Midtown, in a commercial neighborhood. Everything is close but there is noise from the businesses and cars nearby. The cottage is behind the house visible from the street and you will access the cottage via the driveway (off street parking). This property no longer accepts pets.

There is one queen bed, a walk-in shower, and a galley kitchen. This cottage is completely furnished turn-key. The kitchen has a 2 burner stove (no oven), microwave, Keurig and pour over coffee maker, blender, full size refrigerator, and other kitchen items to make your short-term stay comfortable. The living room has a smart TV for you enjoy Netflix (guest account included) or other subscription channels. Optional linen service can be provided, but there are plenty of towels and an extra set of clean sheets for you to use during your stay. All utilities, including Wi-Fi, as well as off-street parking for one car are included.

This cottage is located in Midtown Ventura and has easy freeway access, is close to the hospital district, shopping, and downtown.

Cozy, Beautiful and Beachy

Booked this lovely cottage for a ten day stay in Ventura and could not have been happier. Super attentive owner on site and EVERYTHING about this property is outstanding. They're not kidding when they say minutes from the beach. Fruit trees visible from windows in living room. Clean accommodations. Easy access to the 101 and walking distance to several businesses. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Full stop.

The cottage was clean, thoughtfully appointed, and just the right size for two people, with a great little porch for morning coffee. The host was friendly and responded in a timely way to questions and inquiries. Altogether a great place to stay during our week or so in Ventura.

Little Reunion and the Fair

Everything was as listed. This is a great little property and I will keep this as a favorite for return visits to Ventura. The “noise” was light traffic and was never an issue. At night it was peaceful and the bed was one of the best accommodations outside of being home. Far better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. This will be my go too and hope it’s always available when I return.

A darling place, close to beach and activities, clean and quiet

Stayed at the cottage for 5 days for a conference at the Ventura Beach Marriott. (4 minute drive) Alex was an excellent host, accommodated my late check in very kindly. The cottage was the perfect size, cutely decorated and charming, very clean and a super comfy bed with lots of pillows and fresh white sheets. Lots of personal touches like fresh fluffy towels, extra blankets, toiletries and plenty of kitchen items for simple meal prep. Even some sparkling water, soda and still water in the fridge! Parking was directly in front of the door, a great bonus. Felt safe and secure parking my Audi in the drive. Cute porch with seating was great for a little outdoor relaxing and taking a phone call. I’d definitely stay again and recommend this cute cottage to anyone wanting a well priced and thoughtfully appointed place for a getaway to Ventura that is just a 5 minute drive to the beach.

Nice spot, well maintained

I had a nice multi-week stay at the cute cottage. The prop mgr did a great job with the small details in making the place comfortable for my stay. Very attentive the couple times I had questions. Location was very central and easy access for me. Maybe some extra noise at times since it is near some main streets, but not often enough to bother me. The wifi and TV worked great. Nice kitchen with big fridge and enough utensils for whatever was needed. Comfortable bed. Thankful for my stay.

Perfect Cottage for Exploring Ventura

Highly recommend staying here! Alex was great to work with and the location is great. We didn’t have a car and with walking and biking were able to see all of Ventura!

2 weeks at the "Little White Cottage"

I must say I was impressed and very comfortable! I truly enjoyed the welcoming patio throughout the day, whether morning coffee, afternoons, evening wine, or scrolling through my phone. My dog enjoyed having a spacious & safe area to investigate at all times. It was fun to stay in a cottage in the city! I was not familiar with MidCity Ventura but quickly adjusted to its central location to many places. The property management team were very accommodating and responsive. I would have stayed longer but another traveler was booked right behind me. Many thanks to the team! Julie & Ginger

Family Business Stay

I booked this little cottage just for me when I needed to be with an ailing family member. Although there was a small glitch in checking in, it was quickly resolved. And because of the extreme heat wave during my stay, I asked for a small room fan. It was delivered almost magically to the front porch! The cottage is very clean and comfortable. It is located up a driveway with parking literally in front of the door. I felt very safe being alone in an unfamiliar town. The interior of nicely decorated and gave me a nice sanctuary in a difficult time. The bed was extremely soft, clean and comfortable. I really couldn’t have asked for anything that would better fit my needs

Sweet Cottage!

We had a lovely stay at this little cottage. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location is so convenient - close to downtown, the beaches, restaurants and the freeway. Alex is a thoughtful host. There were chilled sparkling waters in the refrigerator, K-Cups for the coffee maker and everything in the kitchen you would need for a weekend. There was shampoo and conditioner in the shower as well as body wash, lotion, make up remover towelettes and a hairdryer. Good quality linens were also a plus. We appreciate the fact that Alex has kept the old beach cottage vibe while bringing electrical and plumbing up to date. The property is charming and we would return any time!

Midtown cottage

The cottage was clean and tidy. The heater was quiet and warmed the place up nicely on a windy Ventura evening. We enjoyed a 7 min walk to coffee and breakfast at the copper coffee pot. We loved being 10 min from our grand baby, we would stay again.
