This condo, located at Camelot by the Sea, is the perfect option if you are looking for an oceanside paradise! You will love the prime location with direct beach access plus dining options and places to visit nearby. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Not the best

Parking was close to the room. But the floor was filthy and the counter tops needed wiping and had trash on the them. Also had ants in the bathroom

Neglected and over looked.

The size of the room was fine and the view was great. The problem is with the upkeep. The cleaning was not up to par when we arrived, with obvious potatoe chips still on the balcony. We took off our shoes to not transport dirt into the room, only to find ouf feet dirty immediatly. It appears they swept but did not mop. Considering they left a roach visible in the kitchen, even this was rushed. The top of the refrigerator was sticky with a mystery goo. There was no trash can in the bathroom, dirt smears on the wall, and there was still trash in the couch from previous guests. The rest was just basic upkeep that could have easily been maintained by the maintaince department. Loose lock on the door, loose cabinet doors, peeling paint on walls and ceiling, rust on the bed side lights, appliances, fixtures, and coffee pot (which was so rusty, it was unusable). Dont bother with the vending machines, half of them dont work. It was not enough to ruin our stay, but definitly an inconvenience given the price point. I held up my side of the transaction...i would say, they did not.

Until was ok

Camelot itself was great. The unit itself needed to have the floor swept and mopped with some bleach or some strong cleaner. After we showered our feet were black from walking on the floor.

Myrtle Beach -

Although dated, Camelot By Sea is close to many bars, restaurants, and is right in the beach. I didn’t use any of the facilities so can’t speak to those, however, check in went smooth. Did not have my room cleaned durning my stay. I had plenty of towels and soap.

Clean, quiet hotel In the perfect location!

We stayed in Rm 814. Check in was fast and easy. Room was very clean with an amazing view. Kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. Shower had good water pressure and drained quickly. Check out was super fast! Checked out via text and left the keys in the room. Location was prefect! Sits directly next door to my favorite restaurant, Bummz, and it’s within walking distance to the boardwalk.

Needs updating

The location was amazing. However, the bed was horrible. It was super hard. One of the chairs had a broken leg and some of the furniture is in need of replacement.

Camelot Rm 0814

Room, furniture, appliances were nice and in good working order. Parking is in the same building as the rooms which is nice. Elevators were a little slow and a couple of them were out of service off and on, but that’s not unusual in a condo with that many floors. Only real negative was the floor was filthy and left black soot on our feet. If the floor would’ve been mopped and cleaned I would’ve been given five stars.

Only one small issue

The unit was great, the staff at Camelot was great! The only problem was 2 of the 4 elevators were out of order for most of my stay. Nobody's fault, just bad luck. Everything else was top notch.

Disappointed 😞

So we booked this specific hotel for two things the oceanfront view and on sight bar which was only open one day out of four that we stayed and also the lazy river and hot tub jets weren’t even working properly. Also I would suggest maybe adding key cards to gain access to amenities there were several random drug addicts roaming the premises in the Eve hours of the day begging for money and picking up lost items from guests throughout the hotel quarters and out by the pool area . Didn’t really feel safe to walk out of my room even for ice or vending machine. Also I was in room 814 and the whole time we stayed they were renovating room 815 . We paid for a vacation an with the intention to have a peaceful trip not to get woke. At 630-730 am every single morning to beating on the walls drilling and ppl in and out of the room besides . Not only was it disruptive but the staff wasn’t friendly or aware to respect us enough to stop when seeing us in and out of our room . Pretty dissatisfied with the hotel and the noise and amenities not working was hoping for way more by the looks of the pictures when booking the stay. Will not be returning to Camelot inn . The only thing that was nice was the area it was located was in walking distance to lulus cafe and bummz cafe which bothe were pleasant to eat at and to get alcoholic beverages and good food . Me and my boyfriend were also upset that the balcony was gross and someone had spit all over the balcony with there chewing tobacco spit and the housekeeping didn’t even clean it up prior to us arriving. We did get checked in and hour and a half early but wish they would have much rather had the room thoroughly clean instead. The tv was in a separate room in front of the fold out couch and when laying down for bed to relax we couldn’t even view it from our king bed . Overall I won’t be returning because of the cleanliness and amenities we went for in the first place and the front desk never wanted to make it right or help. Only other plus was there was a Dunkin’ Donuts on site .
