You're on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres, located off the coast of Cancun! Punta Sur is the southernmost point of the island, known for its stunning views, picturesque lighthouse (El Faro), and beautiful beaches.

Isla Mujeres is a tranquil and charming island with a rich history, beautiful beaches, and a relaxed atmosphere. You're close to Garrafon Natural Reef Park, a popular spot for snorkeling and swimming. We have the stunning beaches, like Playa Norte and Playa Sol, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear waters.

The Sur Suite: Located on the second floor on the South side, a two story beautiful suite that will accomodate 2 adults, and possibly 2 additional guests at extra charge of $35 each, per night. The second floor large roomy bedroom contains a king-sized bed, a large safe for personal items, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks. The staircase within the suite leads to a third floor living room with a large balcony with views of the Caribbean Sea. The living room contains a sofa with two twin mattresses, a half bathroom, and a kitchenette with a coffee pot, microwave, a refrigerator, and a drinking water dispenser. The suite is equipped with a smart TV and WiFi.

Casa Jardin is in a great location! We are near Kin Ha beach club, El Rancho Capricio, Ulan Eatery and El Borracho Burro Cantina are all within a short distance from each other. We are in the heart of Punta Sur's vibrant dining and entertainment scene for the South end of Isla Mujeres.

If you're looking for recommendations or ideas, we suggest:
- Trying some local seafood at one of the nearby restaurants, like Rosa Sirenas, Limons
- Renting a golf cart to explore the island and visit attractions like the Isla Mujeres Lighthouse or North Beach, or Cultural Cruisers Food Tour

Wonderful b&b with great hosts

Very nice b&b with large rooms and amazing outdoor spaces and views. Very good location on South end of island within walking distance to fun bars and restaurants.

Lovely Stay and delicious breakfasts!

Shelley and Susan were amazing hosts and every need we had was taken care of by them or Marcella, our concierge. The food was phenomenal and the views from the outdoor spaces could not be beat! If you are staying here let them help you with getting your airport transfers and golf cart! They have connections that make it easier for sure! The two story space was great for the rainy days and had everything we needed plus more! We'd highly recommend staying here!

Susan is from New Jersey and graduated from UCONN and had worked for several years in the bar& restaurant industry and then pursued pharmaceuticals after college. She has been working in the restaurant industry for the past 4 years as Managing Partner/Owner of Farm to Fork in Leander TX. Sue has traveled the world and been many places and understands both sides of vacation travel experiences, and the service industry. Which is a great combination of expertise to ensure the experience we want to offer at La Casa de Jardin.

Shelley is from Texas and is a US Army Veteran served in Germany for 2 years. Shelley graduated Le Cordon Bleu back in 2006. Shelley worked for VSM Brands as a corporate research and development chef of recipes that are used for large retail warehouse stores, she then became a successful chef/restaurant owner of a little place called Farm to Fork in Leander, Texas (North of Austin). She is wanting to create and offer a more personalized service in a more relaxed atmosphere to create the perfect StayCation Foodie Vacation Experience.

Together we have over 20 years of bar and restaurant/hospitality background. We want to offer a relaxing vacation for our guests who come to our bed and breakfast. We love to talk about Isla Mujeres: places to visit, special points of interest, excellent places for dinner and do's and dont's while in Isla Mujeres! We do take time at check in and make sure you feel at home. It's your time off, so feel comfortable, relax and enjoy!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We came to Isla Mujeres like most people looking for and expecting a relaxing vacation. We indeed found that, and we also found it hard to leave. We searched for property for a couple years and there was not much available. However, we found two lots that the locals called “The Jungle lots” it took a while to see the vision. Some of our friends who have property on the island said that this would be a great place for us to put down roots on this tropical paradise, so we decided to go for it. We made the right choice!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We actually used graph paper to design La Casa de Jardin much to the surprise of friends and guests . Many have made many comments that we have thought of everything, which is what we were wanting to accomplish. We wanted to build a place that we would vacation at and added the accommodations we expect when traveling.

We have 3 pools on the property. The ground floor pool is heated and the other two have views of the Caribbean Sea and Cancun Bay from our top palapa. The rooms are very large and spacious. We could have added extra rooms to increase the number of rooms for rent, but wanted a more intimate setting that was more comfortable for our guests.

We are a Bed & Breakfast with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef. Shelley Pogue attended The Texas Culinary Academy in Austin TX a Le Cordon Bleu affiliate in 2005. Shelley and Susan owned Farm to Fork, a farm to table restaurant located in Leander Texas. They sold Farm to Fork in 2019 to move to Isla Mujeres Mexico and oversee the build of La Casa de Jardin.

We are located on the Punta Sur end of Isla Mujeres which is quiet and peaceful for the perfect relaxing staycation. We offer concierge services to have your room stocked with pantry items, beverages, chilled champagne, wine or charcuterie boards upon arrival. Private chef lunch or dinner options available during your stay, breakfast is included, excursions, golf carts and dinner reservations can be made for you upon request.

There are 2 large wall murals painted by local artist and art up the stairwells. Many items used at Casa Jardin are repurposed and re-used. There isn't recycling on Isla yet so milk or soda bottles are turned into planters. There is a garden area on the 3rd floor that is being used to grow cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries and other items that will be used on the menu at La Casa de Jardin. Shelley is a gardener at heart as well as a LCB chef that is trying to have a farm to table B&B in Mexico. There is also vertical growing and hydroponics
