Fraichement restauré, je suis heureuse de vous présenter ce magnifique appartement . Sa situation exceptionnelle au milieu des jardins de Sé dans le coeur de la ville ancienne, entre le château Sao Jorge et la Cathédrale de Sé (la plus ancienne de la ville), dans le plus ancien quartier de l'Alfama, sa vue magnifique sur la ville et le taje, vous serez séduits.
A proximité vous trouverez tous les transports, le tramway 28 a 100 mètres, le metro baixa chiado ou terreiro do paco a 500m, les bus a 200 m.

Pour 2 personnes se trouve au 1 er étage avec ascenseur. Il est spacieux (80m2) et lumineux (plein sud) il est constitué d'un tres grand salon de 40m2, d'une grande cuisine de 20m2 toute équipée , d'un long couloir et d'une chambre. Sa terrasse de 20m2 surplombe la ville et vous offre une vue dégagée sur la ville, le taje, et la cathédrale de Sé (la plus ancienne de la ville). Sa hauteur sous plafonds est de 3,50m. La campagne en plein cœur de la vieille ville de Lisbonne aux portes de l Alfama.

Great apartment

Plenty of space, nice kitchen, clothes washer was helpful. Beautiful patio overlooking the harbor and neighborhood, which we couldn’t use due to record rain! Would definitely go back!

GREAT SPACE IN ALFAMA

This is a comforable and hip apartment, perfect for a couple. the neighborhood is safe and quiet, but restaurants, coffee shops, transportation is close.There is a grocery store (Pingo Doce) at the end of the street. The kitchen was well equipped and airy, but the big appeal is the terrace. The view looks out on Corcovado, the river, the bridge, the Cathedral and the Praca do Commercio. Magnficent at night and sunset.I would gladly return.

Perfection!

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment… So stylish and well set up with everything we needed, in the best area, and of course with the magical terrace and views! Waking up to the birds singing in the trees and feeling like we were in nature even though this is the middle of the best part of Lisbon was just incredible. Totally perfect for us!

Old Portuguese Charm

Great old, Portuguese-style place, beautifully decorated. Place looks like the photos. Quiet location, great views, and very walkable to sites and restaurants. Big bookshelf of wonderful resources—tour books, guides, restaurant books, etc. Loved sipping wine on the spacious deck. Place smelled and looked clean with the exception of the bathroom which had black mold around the sink and shower stall.

A great place to stay in a great area

This apartment has been beautifully decorated. You will love the high ceilings, the light, the views. If you like history, you will love the location, it's between the cathedral, the fort and the ruins of the Roman theatre. It's also easy to walk down the hill to Pingo grocery store, to shopping and restaurants in Baixa and to the river. About a 15-minute walk to the famous Santa Justa elevator to Chiado. Going east is Alfama, the oldest neighbourhood. In other words, there is something of interest in every direction. Also, the apartment is very quiet. I would stay here again.

Great location

Superbly located part way up the Hill to the Castelo Sao Jorge. Spacious with lots of character and a cool kitchen and large patio with an awesome view. Host was communicative and flexible, allowing us to drop off our bags early. Would definitely stay again.

The flat was in a quiet, and lovely area. It had a great roof terrace with a fantastic view. The flat was well equipped, bright and airy. It was easy to walk to good restaurants and bars.

Old city gem

ideal location in historic Alfama neighborhood. Despite steep ascent on one of Lisbon's hills to the flat, the location and view made it worthwhile.

Gorgeous spot inside and out

We loved the fantastic location of the apartment. It allowed us to explore during the day and get some rest from the heat in the early afternoons. The large, large doors/ windows let in plenty of light and we really enjoyed the space to rest. The balcony with a fantastic view is a nice spot for the evenings, even though we mostly spent ours walking around in the neighborhoods around us. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect hideaway

Very central but quiet location. Lovely old building and the view is exactly as described. Exceptionally well equipped. Estelle is a gracious and thoughtful host. Definitely worth coming back to.

Spacious, well located apt

This is a spacious, well-located apartment. The living room and kitchen have excellent views, and the terrace is lovely. I would recommend this stay, noting however that it is not quite as clean as the typical VRBO (e.g. some cat fur, smelly toilet).

Authentic apartment

I traveled to Lisbon solo for a few days and wanted to stay in an authentic apartment that oozed Portuguese charm. This apartment was exactly that. It was clean, updated tastefully, had reliable Wi-Fi and was in a safe building and safe area. The terrace was absolutely lovely and included a view of the bridge and water.

Great apartment in Alfama

The site lives up to its description. Very roomy, bright, comfortable, and well-furnished and equipped (especially the large modern kitchen), with bonus of large balcony with a splendid view. The unit is an excellent base of operations for the wonderful old Alfama neighborhood. Although it is near shops and major attractions the unit is very quiet. I would note that the Alfama area and especially the immediate area is extremely hilly. Be prepared to climb up and down very steep streets.

Bohemian apartment in Old Central Lisbon

It is worth staying in this apartment for the view - of the river and bridge and one of the towers of the Se illuminated at night. And all of central Lisbon is within walking distance. It has a modern and well equipped kitchen. We didn't master the vagaries of the shower but this is not an uncommon experience in old European buildings. For Australians worth knowing that the StayZ app does not always work for communications re access arrangements. But Estelle was immediately responsive when the vrbo help desk let her know of our difficulties.

We love this apartment

My wife and I stayed here for over a month, it is probably our favorite vacation rental of many, many. Great views from every room. You see the Cathedral while sitting on the couch. The Roman Theater is just a few doors away. The whole apartment is beautiful, but kitchen terrace is special, particularly at sunset with the sailboats on the river, the starlings and then the bats swirling through the courtyard, the lights of the city and the bridge coming on. It is located in the ancient Alfama neighborhood, but even though it is right in the action, it is very quiet and peaceful as the apartment itself is up a hill and does not face the street. The owner Estelle was a pleasure, she always responded promptly to any questions. One thing to know if you do not like to walk or have mobility limitations, it is near the top of a hill and is a walk from any public transit. But a car can drive right to the front door as well and there is street parking. We loved ending our days with the lovely walk, the hill is not difficult, and it is one reason why the apartment is so quiet and peaceful but just something to know about. For us, it could not have been better, we did not want to leave. We own an apartment in Lisbon and will still want to come back and stay here!

Presentation unacceptable

Nice area. 5 min walk to eateries. Supermercado is a 10 min walk. Easy check-in. Amazing view. Accurate photos except lounges were covered with blankets as protection. Excellent range of amenities. Generally the apartment was clean but in the Bathroom: There was a used bar of soap in the shower. At the basin was a dispenser with 5 mm of soap in it, and another dispenser with such diluted soap 6 pumps were needed to get any suds. Bedroom: The bed was badly made, then the linen looked and smelt used?! I laundered the linen myself to ensure it was washed hygienically. After washing it all I discovered we had a queen size duvet but double size cover. So we used the cover as a top sheet instead, as it left us uncovered at the sides. Photos were sent to the owner. Owner's response:"Oh I am very sorry because _____ could called you if I knew it and pass there again"...."Sorry this unconvenient generally I am there to meet my guests and check the apartment".
