Villa Tres Jolie is an immaculately maintained, professionally designed, beautifully furnished, oceanfront luxury villa with all the features necessary for a perfect Caribbean stay. With nothing between you and the beautiful Caribbean sea, the breathtaking view is a private panorama of infinitely peaceful, constantly changing detail. Watch morning mists, changing wave patterns, white sailing ships, and cloud shadows dance against the stunning backdrop of sister isle, St. Kitts, while poolside, on the first-floor patio, the upstairs verandah, great room, or any bedroom. Enjoy evening cocktails and nibbles while watching sunsets as they lead into indescribable nights of magical moon shadows.
The home's interior is gracious and comfortable - Guests can choose from one of two upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen bed, private ensuite bathroom, and verandah access. Equally enticing is the first-floor bedroom, its two walls of glass opening to the outdoors, and an onyx-tiled bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. The owners, all foodies, prioritized the kitchen design, with luxury appliances large and small, unique tile and granite countertops, and, unlike most rental properties, an extensive selection of cooking supplies, utensils, and serving pieces. A full complement of premium porcelain tableware, flatware, glassware, and much more encourages gracious entertaining. The interior design, furnishings, and original artwork by notable Caribbean artists pay homage to historic Nevisian design while emphasizing comfort and convenience. Should the sea breezes be inadequate for cooling, zoned central A/C is an option. Wireless internet, cable TV, retractable screening of the ground floor and upstairs verandah, ceiling fans, Frette and Montouk linens, and countless other amenities ensure comfort and convenience.

Exceptional

Villa Tres Jolie was the perfect haven for our family of five. The house is beautiful and well- appointed with everything we needed, and the setting of the outdoor space, pool and view of the ocean, Saint Kitts and gorgeous nightly sunsets is breathtaking. Kathleen and Suzanne offered recommendations, helped with arrangements for restaurants, a rental car, and transportation-which left us to simply escape and enjoy being together.We spent the majority of our time relaxing and sharing meals at the house but had fun adventures hiking Mount Liamuiga and taking a snorkeling and sailing trip as well. Restaurants on the beach were fun and casual, and restaurants on the mountain offered incredible atmospheres not to be missed. But above all, it was the amazing home that was the real highlight. We all felt very thankful to be able to spend a week there and have such a welcoming and memorable experience.

A Christmas to remember

A stunning property with a view that never gets old. Impeccably maintained with great attention to detail. We lacked for nothing in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. All in all, a simply glorious Christmas vacation. Can't wait to return!

Back in paradise

Cliffdwellers is a great location. As we plan a house build just up the hill, Doreen went out of her way to arrange our transport, and the car rental while there. The house is lovely and the view incredible. See you guys in the Fall.... and thanks for everything!!

This house is extremely comfortable and classy. The furniture and art are beautiful. The kitchen is very well equipped if you choose to cook. There is plenty of glassware, tableware, cookware etc. if you don't want to cook, there are plenty of very nice restaurants nearby. Everything worked, appliances, faucets... etc. The pool was clean and refreshing and the patio is a perfect place to watch the sunset. The view of St. Kitts was wonderful. Watching the pelicans was lots of fun. The grounds are beautiful with very nice plantings and everything was nicely manicured. My impression is that this place was built solidly and expensively. Suzanne, the owner, and Doreen, the manager, were both extremely helpful. They offered up lots of helpful information. Doreen even brought us eggs from her farm. The beach in front isn't the greatest as it isn't really sandy, but you can swim if you like. Not far away are very pretty beaches with plenty of sand. I liked the beach and restaurant at Chrishie's beach club, it was laid back and friendly there. This is a great place to go for a nice relaxing getaway. We all loved it.

Perfect in every way

This was our 4th trip to Nevis and our first time staying at Cliffdwellers. We visited for my niece's wedding on the island and we were so fortunate have this lovely villa as our Nevis home while there. From the start, working with Kathleen, the property owner, was a pleasure. She was a most gracious hostess with great communication and when she learned our trip was delayed a day due to a flight cancellation, she offered us a refund for the missed night without us even mentioning it to her. Acts like that are not common these days, and we were grateful for this gesture. The property manager, Suzanne, was very welcoming and helped us with our arrival and departure, as well as providing, among other things, some essentials for breakfast, which we all appreciated so much after a long day of travel. The home itself was even better than the pictures show. It was spacious (we have teenagers, so space is quite important!), extremely clean and the location can't be beat. Our teens were able to snorkel safely right in front of the villa, as my husband and I sipped cold drinks on the screened-in patio, enjoying the beautiful view of St. Kitts in the distance. By the way, that screened-in patio is electronically controlled and we loved having the ability to open or close the screens as needed - I think that was my husband's favorite feature! The infinity pool was also a highlight - well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the fans and air conditioning made our stay even more comfortable. I look forward to returning to Tres Jolie soon! If you are looking for a gem of a property to stay at while visiting the beautiful island of Nevis, this spot is highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Best Villa on Nevis--but please tell no one ;)

This was our third trip to Nevis. I'm very aware of the various accommodations on the island. Villa 1 (Villa Tres Jolie) at Cliffdwellers is the perfect balance between contemporary ascetic and classic Caribbean charm and represents the nexus between privacy and convenience. It is an extraordinary value, especially during the off-season. Frankly, I’m reluctant to tell you how great it is because I don’t want it to become so popular that I can’t book it again in the near future. The owners are gracious and extremely generous to offer the opportunity to stay in the Villa. They have taken great care to make the Villa absolutely perfect with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The property manager is very hospitable and met us after dark late on a Sunday night to ensure a seamless arrival (not to mention arranging for the necessary Covid tests for our entire family). Luna Restaurant, onsite, is excellent family-run establishment offering inventive, quality food and a special ambiance that is among the best dining venues on the island (and there is stiff completion from the likes of Golden Rock, Montpelier, The Hermitage, and until recently, Nisbet). There is also very easy access to the water for great swimming and perhaps some snorkeling when the “The Narrows” waterway between Nevis and St. Kitt’s is completely becalmed. Interestingly, there is a mirror image Villa nearby that is not as well appointed currently listed for sale for about $1.8 million. I could go on and on but the professional photos and video of this rental very accurately show the splendor of the Villa. If you look at that and the location and don’t understand how fortunate you are to have the opportunity to book it for a week or more, you should not be reading this. We look forward to happy returns. #NevisNice.

The perfect Villa

Just returned home from a fabulous holiday in Nevis. The villa, gardens and pool were absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. The villa is furnished to a exceptionally high standard and has everything and more you would need for a magical holiday. I can not rate this villa highly enough.

We enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean for many years prior to choosing to build a vacation home in Nevis due to its incomparable advantages.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have owned the villa for over 10 years - It was built to our specifications. We were among the first owners in the "Seaside at Cliffdwellers" section. The ownership experience has been akin to watching a child grow up - ie. when we signed the agreement of sale the area was an oceanfront field - Now it is a beautifully landscaped private "village"!.
This is the first we have listed the villa on a "public" site.
The villa, and the island of Nevis itself, has been a place of countless happy memories - wonderful for sharing with family and friends. There is enough room in the home for everyone to have privacy while still welcoming when we come together. It has become a special place for our children who - now grown - have spouses that share our family enthusiasm for Nevis.
Nevis is not for those who may crave a lot of high end night-life, gambling, party Boats, and the like. For those who wish for a very relaxing, gracious vacation or overwintering - there is here is no more beautiful, relaxing, safe, and interesting place to stay in the Caribbean. We hope that, even if a Nevisian vacation at our villa - Tres Jolie - is impractical during this time of pandemic, you will visit in the future.
