Updated, open concept cottage. Located on dead end street with Crystal Lake access ~100 feet from cottage on Outlet Bay and sandbar. Large kitchen and easy access (park next to cottage, one step up to enter). Custom beds maximize sleeping space in second bedroom. WiFi, Roku TV.

-Betsie Valley Bike Trail 1/2 mile away on quiet road (and Betsie River outlet from Crystal Lake); Bike to Beulah or Frankfort on the trail
-Frankfort (5 miles): Lake Michigan beach & Point Betsie lighthouse, restaurants, shopping
-Beulah (5 miles): Crystal Lake beach, restaurants, shopping, Cherry Bowl drive-in movie theater
-Crystal Mountain (15 miles): Year round activities
-Sleeping Bear Dunes (30 minutes)

Professionally cleaned between guests.
NO AIR CONDITIONING (fans available in each room).
No pets allowed (we do bring our dogs so cottage is not pet-free).
Paddleboards (two) and kayaks (two 1-person and one 2-person inflatable) available May-September (life jackets are not provided).

Great summer spot

We had a fun time staying at this cottage! Great location, we enjoyed being so close to Crystal Lake and easy access to the bike path. So much to explore in the surrounding area. The cottage is nice and open, we loved the big kitchen. The bunk room was a perfect setup for kids.

Great!

We had a great time staying in this cottage in Frankfort. It was very clean and the kitchen has tons of room for cooking, etc. The only issue we ran into was our infant, who didn't sleep well in his pack and play in the sunroom, so we moved him to the bedroom and slept on the couch. The hosts were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here!

High humidity and dog odor don't make for pleasant stay

Didn't realize the cottage wasn't air conditioned . My bad! But we walked through the front door and the dog odor hit us like a ton of bricks. Indoor temperature was 77 deg. and the humidity was 78%. Was instructed to open all the windows but there was no air movement . Slept all night with sore throats. Next morning humidity was 81%, indoors. Next day was better. Indoor temperature got down to 74 deg. humidity was still around 78 %. I do realize this was probably unusual weather for the area. Very high humidity outside . Since the cottage didn't have AC we had to sleep with the windows open . There was a lot of road noise noticed from the front bedroom. We left early. Didn't stay our 3rd night. Plus side , cottage was very cute. Short walk to the water. Shoreline starts off rocky but within 20 to 30 feet transitions to beautiful sand. The cottage definitely has potential.

Wonderful home!

Such a beautiful house. Such an incredible kitchen - we didn't actually get to use it as we were visiting family, but it's amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Near beautiful Crystal Lake! We hope to return!

Frankfort Get Away

Very clean and comfortable house in nice residential area within short walk to Crystal Lake. The kitchen layout and amenities are great, plus we made use of griddle grill in backyard. Host provided guide resources of things to do in area, which was helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Crystal Lake home

Such a cute modernized house with great location and water access! We loved the open floor plan and layout and the home was really well stocked with everything we needed for our girls trip, even an ice machine. We enjoyed bonfires in the backyard and watching movies in the comfy living area, and sunsets at the lake. The location was perfect for Frankfort and Elberta, and trips to Sleeping Bear and so many great beaches and wineries. The bunkroom was also fun, us 3 girls shared the room sleepover style and had a lot of laughs. Thanks for sharing your perfect home with us!

Wonderful cottage

We loved our stay at this cottage. Crystal lake is beautiful, Frankfort is a super cute little town, and we loved checking out sleeping bear dunes. Our favorite beach was Elberta beach on Lake Michigan, it’s a hidden gem for sure.

Get away Up North

Beautiful home set just steps away from Crystal Lake. The house was super clean and great communication from the owners! It was great for our family 3 under 5 and plenty of space to enjoy as well as great location to explore the area from! Thanks for a great family getaway spot!

Great lakeside Stay

Everything was great! Easy check in and out, great location, beautiful area. Room set up was nice, kitchen had pretty much everything you might need, and the house has a good layout. If you have more than a few adults parking may be an issue, so just check with the property owner to make sure you’ll have enough space.

Very nice versatile lay out. Well furnished, including kitchen gadgets! The location is perfect, close to Lake Michigan, small towns, Sleeping Bear dunes. Quiet neighhood. Also, comfortabke and felt safe.

Great weekend getaway with the family

Great place and perfect location. My family and I loved the lake and the walking trail. We rented a boat for the day and the fishing was incredible. Caught over 50 fish. We also went to Lake Michigan and walked the town of Frankfort. House rental included kayaks, paddle boards and tons of games. It was equipped to make it feel like home away from home. We had the best time and will definitely book again in the future.

Stayed here with family and friends. The purpose of our trip was a fishing trip out of Frankfort. The accommodations and location met our needs. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem!

My family had such a great time here! The house is equipped with everything you’d need, is absolutely darling, and the owners have gone out of their way to provide extras that make a trip to the UP memorable. Crystal Lake is beautiful. We all (4 teenage boys and their parents) enjoyed exploring on kayaks and paddle boards. Neighbors were kind. Very quiet area. The proximity to the lake, Betsie trail, Beulah, and Frankfurt is fantastic. Great rental! Great trip!

Beautiful home and amazing area

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We enjoyed our days playing at the lakes and beaches, sightseeing and just enjoying the area. The house was a great place to rest and recharge for the next days fun. We have two kids (age 4 & 5), they lived the bunk room! We definitely want to come back.

We fell in love with Crystal Lake and the surrounding area while on vacation a few years ago. We've always dreamed about a lake house "someday" and decided to stop dreaming and not wait to make memories with our family. We were fortunate to find a little cottage of our own and are excited to share the area with you.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love that this cottage is on a quiet bay with sandbars. Plus it's a short distance to the bike trail so we can easily bike or drive to the local communities. We love to do all sorts of activities on Crystal Lake, Lake Michigan and the bike trail.
