Great Family Getaway Location!

This two bedroom one bathroom house is situated in a central location to many tourist towns and attractions. Everything but the kitchen has been completely remodeled.

The house is located a minute from the public beach on Loon Lake, 20 minutes from Lake George, and an hour from Lake Placid. The owners are located nearby to help should any issues arise.

Loon Lake
I stayed at Alyssa's property with my 11 year old and his friend. The lake house was extremely comfortable and gave us plenty of options to keep two children entertained while being in the quiet woods. The board games and fantastic fire pit were huge hits for us.

A great getaway
This property was amazing, tucked away in a area 30 min from Lake George. It was quiet, clean and had towels, bedding, stocked kitchen with pots, pans and utensils. All you need is the food. I did bring some of my pots and pans since I like to use certain items. Topps market is 5 min away so you can grab groceries. There is also a deli near Loon Lake. The ice cream there is really good. The evenings were extremely relaxing as the area is very quiet. Sitting at the fire pit was a perfect ending to a busy day. Close to loon lake beach, the lake is clean and fun. Listing says u can walk to beach and you can but I found it safer if you drove. A marina to rent a boat is also very close and extremely friendly staff. Owner was very responsive to my questions and very friendly. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay near the Lake George area!
We were looking for a comfortable place to stay for our family of 5 where we could enjoy the Lake George area, without being right in the center of it. This location provided the perfect solution for us! We were 25 miles or so from the “touristy” area of Lake George, and even closer than that if you’re headed to Bolton instead. As far as the house itself, it’s a great getaway house for a family with tweens or teens. The living, dining and kitchen areas were on the first floor. The owners have obviously put a lot of work into improvements over the years. For our family of 5 with three teens, the indoors were cozy, but not in the least cramped, whether it was in the living room or dining area. Each area had plenty of room for all who needed to be there. Wood ceilings and walls, and great looking plank tile on the floors made the house feel very homey. The bathroom/laundry room had new a and modern feel, with great water pressure, new washer and dryer and no rust stains. The kitchen equipment included a modern oven, a serviceable refrigerator and any small appliances and utensils needed to put any kind of meal you’d like on the table. Outside areas include a deck with an outside dining table for 6 and a gas grill, a nice grassy lawn and a large fire pit area at the other end of the yard. We loved it. I highly recommend.

Awesome stay in the mountains!!!
I can't tell you enough about how gorgeous this property is. The nice wood walls inside this property made it feel right at home in the mountains. It has great access to many of the local lakes around along with close proximity to Chestertown and Pottersville. We enjoyed the games that were at this property each night. The firepit was awesome. There is wood onsite so we didn't have to buy any for our stay. We had a fire each night we were there. The kitchen is stocked with glasses, plates, cooking utensils, and pans which made it nice to cook breakfast every morning. There is a toaster and Keureg here so all we needed to do was buy the supplies. There is a big fridge to store everything that we bought. The grill onsite had propane so we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs along with chicken each night. There is plenty of space to sleep whether it is in the master bedroom or the 2 twin beds that actually fold out into another bed so 2 people can sleep on each twin unit which was handy. The beds were furnished with linens so we didn't have to bring anything to make our beds. There is a washer and dryer onsite to do our laundry before we left. There is a huge deck on the backside of the property where we could just sit and chill with family. There is a couch and loveseat in the living room which we also used for some relatives to sleep. This place also has excellent WIFI and never lost connectivity while we were here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a nice house to stay at while they are visiting this gorgeous area.

Perfect for a ski cabin
I stayed at this property with my 13 and 10 year old sons for nearly a week while we skied / snowboarded at Gore. The place is so close to the mountain and you pass a bunch of grocery, gas and other shopping options on the way to / from the mountain, which is convenient. I was able to go to other towns when I needed something special (i.e. auto parts, medical center). The place is clean and most things look pretty new. There is only one true bedroom with a door. The other two beds are in an open area on the second floor. It was fine for me w two kids but could be an issue if everyone expects privacy in bed. The property manager was super nice and very responsive.

Peaceful getaway
A great place to stay! We enjoyed the proximity to Bolton Landing and Lake George, but far enough away to offer a very peaceful setting. Close to Loon Lake and great hiking trails. Will definitely be back.

Utopia
This house was in the sweetest area. It was close enough to enjoy lake George but far enough away to relax. The outside was such a nice wooded area, with an outdoor deck to enjoy. The master bed was so comfortable and clean, the kids were close by and although we only have 2, the beds are trundle so 4 kids would fit perfectly. We did move a night light up there and plugged it in. The bathroom was new and clean. We were happy there were games in the living room to play with the kids. The kitchen had all the necessary tools, once that is remodeled this home will be just the best retreat. Although the kitchen didn't hinder our time at all,it was still so cute. We imagine this house is simply incredible in the fall. We will rent it again for sure!!

Great location for us and beautiful yard! Kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans. Full size washer dryer a bonus! Would rent again! Only suggestions would be to add hooks in bathroom for towels And a rack or hooks for hanging clothes.

Beautiful camp
Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful camp! The location, in proximity to where our other family was staying, provided us with ease to go to/from their camp on Marina Road. In fact, we were able to walk from this location over to theirs! You can definitely tell that devotion has been put into every detail within the camp..it is literally picture perfect, and adorable! Will stay again!
