160 Gulf Island - Cottage Style Pool home with Screened-in Porch Near Beach

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom island cottage is perfectly located between the beach and bay, just up the street from the island grocery store (Publix)! With the beach, bay, and your very own private pool, what more could you ask for?

The master bedroom features a queen bed with a walk-in shower in the bathroom. In the second bedroom is a full bed, along with two twins in the third bedroom and a twin trundle bed in the sunroom for a maximum occupancy of 7 guests. The guest bathroom has another walk in shower.

The home has a large driveway with plenty of parking space, a fenced-in backyard, and an enclosed swimming pool. There is also a large screened-in porch wrapping around two sides of the home perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a family dinner at sunset. There is also a full size washer and dryer in the unit. Linens are included! We provide all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and even a set of towels you can take to the beach.

Property is located in a quiet zone neighborhood, just steps to a neighborhood beach access point with a gazebo as well as a private fishing pier on the back bay that offers a large tiki so you can relax in the shade.

We would like to note that there may still be construction occurring or construction materials near the property as a result of post Hurricane Ian renovations.

The minimum age to rent is 25. $100 cancellation fee for all cancellations outside of our 48-hour grace period. Please consider Travel Insurance for unexpected situations preventing travel. Great loction, loved the pool just a few items to report.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property. A few things we noticed: For the number of people we had, it would be great if we had more dressers, hooks to hang items, and a couple of full length mirrors. Also, there was a problem with the hall bathroom toilet not filling up. Also, it was super hot for the time of year so it would be helpful if we could have raised the a/c. The trashcan was extremely dirty which included bugs. There was a problem with the electronic door lock and the maintenance man tried to resolve it but it didn't work the whole time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and close to the beach. The only issue I had was the pool was cold. We spent a significant sum to enjoy the rental and didn't enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked. We called to see if the pool heat could be turned up. The gentleman said he would look into it and call me back. He did not call back. This was my only issue that makes me think twice about renting this home. I would like to enjoy the pool more.

Perfect spot for beach access!

We had the most relaxing time on Fort Myers Beach. The house was conveniently located one block from the beach, which allowed us walking access to and from multiple times a day. It was so worth it being near the beach instead of having to combat traffic on and off the island. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds and linens. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. The screened in porch was a huge hit for all of us. !We did prepare several meals in the house, I wish there were kitchen towels, washcloths or sponges. Also wish that a few more supplies were provided in order to keep everything clean.Traffic on the island in the afternoon/evening hours was insane! Luckily, we were close to Publix and Junkanoo for dinner. Thankful we didn’t have to combat traffic every night to get back to a house off the islandWonderful stay!

Excellent cottage in a quiet neighborhood

We are a family of seven - five kids ranging in ages from seven to sixteen years. Absolutely loved the lanai and pool (childproofed by a handle at adult height - wonderful insight)! The screened-in porch was a nice addition for outdoor space. Easy access to the beach; loved the sand toys, beach wagon and umbrella! Very close to Publix; however you will have to drive, bike or rely on the Trollee/Uber to and from most places (no bars/restaurants w/n half a mile). Things to note: older kitchen appliances (no ice maker on fridge; coffee pot which requires you to buy grounds, ect); bring your own laundry detergent/dryer sheets and dishwasher pods (awesome large capacity washer and dryer). Overall, an excellent home and I would recommend it to anyone else.
