The Kitchen is fully stocked for delicious home cooked meals and the ample dining seating gives everyone room. A large back deck for Barbequing and relaxing while nature takes over the background noise and the mountain air sets in. Want to eat out? no problem, Mountain Top retreat is close to great restaurants! Need something to do on a rainy day? Relax in a brand new 7 person Hot tub. Then kick back in the cabin playing on the pool table, or do a puzzle or watch a movie on Netflix. not only is Yellowstone national Park close and convenient, there are many other things to do ATV, kayak, Snowmobile, Family fun theatres, bike, hike, spot wild life such as moose, elk, deer, bear, and sandhill cranes. Wildlife is abundant so bring your camera! We are at about 6200 feet, so even in summer things can turn chilly. Bring a jacket and great hiking shoes to be safe as you walk the many trails. Great experience!

We came to Island Park for a snowmobiling trip with 8 people and the cabin was perfect! Plenty or foom for everyone and having the heated garage was fantastic. The cabin is very conveniently located and there is a nice parking area that easily fits multiple trucks and trailers.

Family Yellowstone trip

We had a blast! This cabin was perfect for our home base for our family trip to Yellowstone. All of the kids said it was the best trip ever, and we go to Yellowstone a couple times each year.

Top Notch Experience

This experience was the best we have had all around - from asking questions to the owners and quick responses while planning, to last minute questions and thoughts - the owners were amazing. Everything was exactly as advertised and even better - our family of 5 had a great time and the experience overall was incredible. We spent time in the hot tub, around the fire, played games in the garage and cooked every meal in the kitchen - everything worked great and exceeded expectations! The drive to West Yellowstone was amazing and it was over before you knew it - so many great things to say about this property - you will enjoy!

Family Yellowstone vacation

We stayed here for your yellowstone vacation. We loved this place. Place was clean and easy check in. Its about 25 minutes to west Yellowstone entrance and most restaurants.. Hot tub was clean and game room was an awesome addition. All the bed were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect property

This property was exactly as it was described. Very clean, spacious, great gathering spaces for our group of 8 and good location for Yellowstone adventures. It is close to a road but not much traffic down the road. There was new construction going up next door but it didn’t bother us as we were gone during the daytime while it was being worked on. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen had all we needed. The activities and TV in the garage came in handy when the weather was less than perfect. The hosts were very quick to respond prior to our stay and during. Would rebook in a heartbeat!

Awesome Rental Property

We recently stayed at this property with two families, totaling nine people with kids ranging in age from 13 to 20. Overall, we had a fantastic time and loved the house, especially the rec room and jacuzzi, which were big hits with everyone. However, there are a couple of things to note for future guests. The property is listed to sleep 12, but that count includes a pull-out couch, which is suitable for small children but might be uncomfortable for adults. Our main issue was with the hot water situation. After just two showers, the water would turn very cold, which made it difficult to get ready efficiently, especially after a long day of hiking in Yellowstone. With everyone needing to shower before bed, we found ourselves having to wait about an hour between every two showers for the water to heat up again. While we managed, it was a bit frustrating, and I would recommend upgrading to a tankless hot water system if the house is being marketed for 12 guests. Despite this, the property itself is great and in a fairly quiet neighborhood. It’s also in close proximity to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, which was very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend this property, just be aware of the hot water limitations if you're planning on having a full house.

Property was good for the most part. Cabin is right off the road and not set back in. We could hear highway traffic which was unfortunate and construction from near by cabins. Location overall is good…close to Yellowstone and Mack’s inn hubbub. I liked that cabin is new.

AMAZING STAY!!

We stayed here for our Yellowstone vacation. The place was PERFECT in every way!! The house comfortably fit us and was beautiful! The beds were extremely comfortable. There were fans and heaters in each room so everyone had control of their own environment. The hot tub and fire pit added allowed for relaxing evenings. The garage had a basketball hoop, pool table and volleyball net. The kids had a blast in the evenings when we got back from our Yellowstone adventures. The property owners responded quickly and went over and beyond for us. I would recommend the house and them to anyone!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Wonderful time and relaxing get away!

Wonderful Cabin

This was a fantastic property that had everything. Plenty of room, comfy beds, stuff for the baby (the high chair was so convenient and saved us having to haul our own out to isalnd park), and the garage was full of fun activities. This was also a great home base for our adventures in island park and yellowstone! Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay here!

Great place to stay!

Property is perfect for a large family or group of friends. It's located in a very nice area, and although it was a lot of driving, we were able to use it as a base to see both Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks and Jackson Hole without changing locations. Our only regret is there was so much to see in 5 days, we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy the hot tub and other amenities in the cabin!

We enjoyed our stay so much. So much to do at the cabin for the family. We weren't there much, but it was so nice for when we did have down time. Nice central location for heading to Yellowstone or staying local and enjoying Macks inn and island park.

Yellowstone Fun!

We stayed here because it was close to the west entrance to Yellowstone. The house was gorgeous and perfect for our family of 7. The girls and I loved being in the hot tub with the cool air outside. We did not get a chance to play with all the fun stuff in the garage because we were too tired from sightseeing, but there was plenty to do. The house is set up perfectly for any season or weather. Thank you for letting us stay in your home for our much needed vacation. Oh, I almost forgot… the grocery store was so close and convenient. We never went without food to fix or cook!

Snowmobile weekend

We are a family of eight, ranging in age from 14+. We were in Island Park for a snowmobile weekend. There was plenty of room to park our two trucks and trailers. We loved that we could snowmobile directly from the property to the trails. The town accommodates this well. After a few hours or in the snow, we loved being able to play games and sit in the hot tub. It was cold and snowy are entire trip. The hot tub didn't get above 96.degrees. We tried to get it warmer but it stayed at that temp. It was warm but never hot. We were ok with that. There were lots of plans available to cook. We like that for our big group. When i booked, I didn't realize all the activities the garage offered. We loved the pool table, TV, basketball hoop and pickleball in the garage. There was a heater to warm it up and lots of chairs and stools that we used to play various games around the pool table. The place was clean and warm and spacious. I would recommend this property.
