This peaceful, newly renovated vacation property is perfect for the whole family, some friends, or even just a couples trip! The house is on the Blvd so it's extremely easy access to all the amenities such as a community pool, tennis courts, fishing areas, etc. The property includes extremely fast WIFI, fully functioning appliances, a golf cart, kayak, barbeque grill, and of course a picnic table outside. Come relax at Jensen beach and stay at our beautiful home!

Perfect family rental

My parents go to nettles island every winter and we rented for a week vacation and it Was perfect. Nice and clean and child friendly. Will stay again!

beautiful house with plenty of sleeping room for a group trip! very pretty area with multiple beaches and the river near by. plenty of cookware and utensils and was kept very clean!

Good Fit For Our Family of Five

Our family loves Nettles Island and the surrounding area. The house fit our needs well for our most recent trip there. We had a couple small hiccups when we first got there but the owner was very responsive and helpful so it wasn’t really an issue. I would definitely consider staying there again on our next vacation to Nettles.

Clean, comfortable and cozy

The unit is exactly as described. It is very clean and has everything you need. The golf cart was a real plus. Whenever I had a question the owner was quick to reply. I have stayed in several units on Nettles and this is one of my favorites. It's got a great vibe! I hope it's available next time I am visiting the Stuart area.

Fabulous vacation

The property manager was responsive, the unit was clean and in a great location. Bed was comfortable and 2 bathrooms was a plus! Loved the location- Hutchinson Islamd has always been a favorite - if you like beautiful beaches, no crowds and are able to drive to commercial areas like Stuart and Downtown Jensen this place is for you.

Very clean and cute

This is a great spot for families. We have older kids (8-16) and felt it was close enough to walk to the pool, Putt putt, etc. the house was very clean and had everything we need to cook, including grill, pots and pans, blenders, etc. plenty of towels too. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Place

We had a great time in this cottage. Very nice open space. It is nicely decorated with everything you need for a beach getaway. We loved being on the main road so close to the beach with nice breeze to have your cup of coffee outside each morning.The owner was very attentive and so easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back.

Week at Nettles Island

The property was lovely, lots of amenities you wouldn't expect including toiletries and lotions. The golf cart to get around was a nice addition. It was very comfortable, well decorated. The property as a community had everything from pool to restaurants to little grocery store. The property host was great, answered any and all questions very quickly. I would definitely stay there again!!!!

Nice area had a nice stay

Had to let owner know that his electric cart did not work and that the bedroom outlets and power did not work we used the bathroom and closet lights he asked if we wanted someone to come Saturday but we went ahead and rented a cart and dealt with the electric situation but area really nice people were very pleasant we had a nice time

Great place for a family with small kids

This place is great....great house in a great location! The house is adorable and the community is wonderful. This rental is perfect for a family with small children as the second bedroom is really too small for adults. The house had great amenities but could use a little upgrading as there was limited linens/towels and no hairdryer. The golf cart could use and update as well as the lights very intermittent and the horn didnt work. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Cockroaches and filth

Upon arrival I noticed black smeared handprints all over the kitchen cabinets and walls and doorways. Disgusting. I spent much of my first day scrubbing and cleaning. To top that there were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathrooms which was horrifying. I read all the reviews except for the one from the week before my stay which was loaded with cockroach issues. I was paranoid the whole time and we had to eat every meal out. Very disappointed and can’t believe someone will take our money knowing their property is infested. Very irresponsible property owner. The place was shabby with sticker back splash peeling off in bathrooms and kitchen. The golf cart was crap and the lights didn’t work so it could only be used in the day time. The picnic table was decrepit also. Beach chairs were broken down crap too. Only gave three passes to the pool so I had to buy extras for $25.00 each. If the place sleeps six, there should be passes for all. Nice community and we will go there again but never to this rental. I was embarrassed to have my kids come.

Bugs

As soon as we arrived we had roaches and a plumbing issue in the kitchen sink. I addressed the owner right away. We got 24 roach baits and put them all around also sprayed. Roaches continued . Anytime we tried to use the garbage disposal it blew up and wouldn’t drain. Used 2 bottles of Drano and never used the garbage disposal again. The outlet in the master bathroom didn’t work nor did the one outside ,which was the one to charge the golf cart. Owner said push red button on bathroom outlet. It didn’t work so we used the neighbors outlet to charge golf cart. I did tell the owner. He claimed he didn’t have my cell number yet could communicate thru messenger on VRBO. The golf cart lights didn’t work and the mirror was broken also. We also only had 3 passes and we were to have 4 ,so we purchased one. The owner did offer to refund that cost plus Drano and roach bait. It’s not the $30. It’s that they weren’t taken care of. I told him to get it bombed for roaches before the next poor person had to deal with them. The area is great and hope next year to return to another place there. Neighbors are very nice and don’t have roach issues. .

Owner Cancelled Our Week 5 Minutes After We Were to Check In

We stayed on Nettle's Island for the first time in April 2022. We loved everything the community had to offer, so I immediately booked for the following Spring Break of 2023. After booking the place with Gustavo/Gio Mejia, I messaged them through the VRBO app on April 10, 2022 with confirmation of our stay for April 2023. I received an immediate reply. On March 29, 2023, I messaged the brothers Gustavo/Gio again to confirm our upcoming stay and inquired about how to receive access into their home. I received another immediate response from them, explaining that I would receive access the day prior to the trip. By 12:30 p.m. on March 29, 2023, I received the "keys" via email. My family of 4 flew into Florida, got our car rental, and drove to meet up with two other family members. When we were not able to access our "keys" at 4:05 p.m. on April 1, 2023 (5 minutes after check-in), I sent a message through the VRBO app. I received a phone call from Gio within 5 minutes. Apparently, they had double booked the house and never noticed, despite my messages after booking and 3 days before check-in!!! I received a refund within the hour. However, our two families were left without a place to stay!!! Gio sounded very apologetic on the phone the day he cancelled our stay. Since then, I have texted with him on April 4th, 5th, 10th, 14th, 15th, and 30th, hoping that he would make this situation "right" for a future stay. To this day, nothing has been done.

AWESOME

Place was excellent. Giovanni was great with communication. We had to check in @ 5pm due to a cleaning delay. Giovanni kept me up to date and compensated for the issue. The place was clean. My kids enjoyed the space. I wish there was bigger parking area. Our SUV could barely fit. It also would have been nice to have porch area to hang out and enjoy the weather without have to leave the house. Overall great experience

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful house at Nettles. Two bedrooms, nicely decorated, clean, and especially enjoyed the golf cart. No problems at all and good communication with owner. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Location for a Relaxing Getaway

My family of 5 loved our week at this property. It’s comfortable and beautiful inside with a relaxing location. The amenities on the island were great. It’s a quiet gated community with 2 large pools, indoor games like pool and ping pong, and a variety of outdoor games like mini golf and shuffle board. The ocean was a bit rough during our stay, but the kids had a blast even just staying near the edge collecting shells. The island offers a private beach across A1A and the included golf cart was so convenient for trips to the beach, the rec center, and even just driving around to check out the other houses on the island. The house had everything we needed and the beds and large sectional were very comfortable. Having the two large bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of closet space was really helpful for our family. We can’t wait to come back!
