Wild Things is a spacious log cabin with vaulted ceilings offering 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, Jacuzzi, lofted game room with 1 twin bed and 1 full bed nestled in a wooded setting centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with convenience to all the attractions and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park!
As you enter the main level, you will find a comfortable living room that offers a gas log fireplace, queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, rocker, large screen TV, DVD Player, a movie library, and board games with wood flooring, ceiling fan, and lots of window to let the natural light in. There is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and wood flooring in addition to a separate dining room area that offers a table that will seat 4-6 with two benches for seating. The master bedroom offers a luxurious king bed, bedside Jacuzzi, TV, log chair, 2 easy chairs, wood flooring, and a stacked washer/dryer in one of the closets. A full bath is located on this level that offers a tub/shower combination with a built-in hair dryer for guest convenience.
Head on up to the lofted game room area, you will find a pool table, pub table for 2, an easy chair, 1 twin bed, and 1 full size bed. Perfect place for the kiddos to sleep or young adults or even challenge each other to a game of pool. Each bed is on the opposite side of the room with small triangle windows to let the natural light in as well as take in the beauty of nature.
The covered front deck offers a double rocker, two wood rockers, and a small table for guests to enjoy taking in the serene sounds of nature. There is a covered screened back deck that offers a hot tub, patio set for 4, checkerboard game, and a ceiling fan for guests to enjoy soaking in the relaxing hot tub after a long day of activities. There is a small yard area that offers a parklike charcoal grill and a picnic table for your grilling pleasure.
Don't forget your laptop! This cabin offers Free WIFI internet access. With all the luxuries that this cabin has to offer, Wild Things is perfect for couples and small families to enjoy making this their home away from home in the Smokies.

Beautiful Location...but....

The location and Cabin was beautiful, however the Central Air was broken, was not able to fix due to warranty issue, late the 2nd day management finally brought window units. The cabin smelled stayle and musky. The got tub smelled like mildew. The cabin had dead insects, and was not theoughly cleaned. We felt like we were getting bit by some kind of insect. We asked for a partial refund due to the amount we paid for the cabin, and the AC issue, was told that the manager would not be back until the next week, will be waiting to hear from them.

Where to start- Straight out of a scary movie

We got to the property around 3:45 hoping to check in at 4. Walked up to the window and heard someone inside, you could hear footsteps, figured it was someone cleaning but we never received an email so called and they said they were running behind cleaning it and wasn’t sure when someone would be there to clean it. And we just figured maybe the house was creaking. I was frustrated we just traveled 10 hours with an infant and 3 kids. So they were over sitting in the car. Called a few times to figure it when they were coming and someone finally showed up about 5:15 to clean it. Received an email at 5:45 saying it was ready for check in, but it wasn’t. The cleaner finished cleaning about 7pm. He did a great job cleaning it, I have no problem there. Well the first 2 nights I was up with my infant baby feeding him at 3AM and heard foot steps and stuff falling on the top floor, I figured it was just the kids and shortly went back to sleep. Told my husband about it the next day and told the kids they needed to go to sleep earlier. Third night my kids slept on the bottom floor, heard foot steps again, woke my husband up and continued to hear footsteps for a couple seconds on top floor and then something fell and couple seconds later my child’s toy went off that was upstairs, my husband jumped up and immediately turned all the lights on and kids were sound asleep and no one was upstairs and nothing fell. We were all a bit freaked out then all of a sudden lots of banging under the downstairs room and animals wining. But that sounded like raccoon’s. Fourth night everyone slept together we heard foot steps and bang again and we ended up leaving and going to a hotel. We finally got a good night sleep at a hotel in town and we came back the next morning and packed all of our stuff and left. There was no way we were staying another night there. The cabin in Haunted. We have stayed at several cabins and some being 2 stories with no issues before. I get that you’re in the middle of the woods and wildlife happens, I wasn’t even annoyed at that part. But the cabin has an evil spirit or something. There was too many “coincidences.”Everything happens around 3AM. I would never stay here again.

Quick get away!

The cabin was nice but needs some major work. The tub in the bath should have BEEN replaced. It is stained and filthy. Made my super uncomfortable to shower. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. It's needs to be thrown out as well. It is an old spring mattress. Definitely has the potential to be a 5 star cabin.

Great Stay

The cabin was exactly as listed and shown in pictures. The location was great! We were a short drive to the national park entrance, pigeon forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg (about 10-15 minutes to each location). On our way in GPS did not bring us to the exact location, use Barbara’s listed directions once you reach the resort and then finding the cabin is a breeze. Our kids 9 and 11 enjoyed the loft space and beds. Great stay would recommend for families.

This place is great!

This is such a nice place to stay and visit the Smoky Mountains National park along with Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. So many things to do are within a short, scenic drive, but the house is in a quiet and relatively secluded area. We even saw a family of bears right outside on 3 or 4 of the 7 days that we were there! We (especially our kids) loved relaxing in the hot tub each night and even sometimes in the mornings before we went out. Everything was in good working order, directions to the place were simple to follow, and communication with the owners was easy when needed. I would definitely recommend this house for couples or families looking for a good home base in the Smoky Mountains area!

Overall great cabin

The cabin was beautiful, clean and great for our family of four. Great location between gatlinburg and pigeon forge, easy access to both. We used the hot tub, jacuzzi tub, and the charcoal grill, all of which worked great. I would say the only thing that people need to be aware of with this cabin is that it is quite a ways off the beaten path, it usually took us about 10-15 minutes to drive from parkway to the cabin, and that’s with me having mountain driving experience. This is not a problem, I think it’s just important for people to know when booking. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed the cabin very much.

Awesome trip!

We absolutely loved Wild Things! the cabin is stunning and the roads to get there are easier than a lot of other mountain roads I've been on! and the parking is flat! We even seen 3 bears while we were there! just absolutely perfect vacation!

Great Cabin!

Loved our stay in this cabin. It was comfortable and clean. We had trouble getting in the first time (you have to push/pull on the door to get the electronic lock to unlock), but after that, no issues. Kids loved sleeping in the little nooks up in the loft. Great location between PF and Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay again when visiting the PF/Gatlinburg area.

Overall, good

Only negative was being told after 3pm that we wouldn’t be able to check in on time. We were planning on arriving very soon after 4pm. We were informed last moment that it would be a 6pm check in.

Initially had some issues finding the road, as it was not in our GPS. Once we found the cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed it’s amenities and coziness. We would rent again.

Great stay

We had a very great stay and the cabin was a perfect fit for our family. The drive made me very nervous the first few days, but then once we made it a few times, it was much easier. Communication via text was the quickest for sure if needed anything or had questions.

Great Time, Great Cabin, Great Location

This place was awesome! Cabin was as described and perfect. Myself, my wife and my 5 year old daughter loved it. We enjoyed the outside grill and picnic table, screened in hot tub and pool table. It is perfectly secluded yet, 10 mins from Gatlinburg out the back way and 10 mins to Pigeon Forge out the front way. Perfect spot and would definitely stay there again!
