Great host

Quentin our host was great, he communicated well with us and very responsive. The host gave very good tips for our rehearsal dinner and things to do.However, the cleaning crew disappointed and it was communicated with host.

Graduation Celebration

We were just here for a 2 night stay due to a family member graduating at the local college. We were really impressed with the size of the rooms and the cleanliness, The online description of the property was exactly as stated and more. The large family room allows for family gathering with plenty of seating. The house is extremely spacious and accommodating. This was a great find and we just wish that we could have stayed a couple of days more to enjoy the ambiance of the interior/exterior..

The house was in a great neighborhood and was huge with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! It totally met all our expectations and we had a wonderful time in Winston Salem for my niece’s wedding!

Giant Downtown

The home fit the needs of my large family and our stay was comfortable. We had a family member in a wheelchair and the home was very handicap accessible. One of the restroom doors had recently been painted and would not close all the way due to the excess paint. All four of the home’s trash cans were full when we arrived and there was trash On the ground in front of the home. Took 2 calls to get it cleaned up. Small issue overall. hTnask

Great House for Wedding Guests to Stay

Our bridal party stayed at this house for 3 nights. They said it is very large with lots of bedrooms and places to gather. The perfect house for a large group.

>10 guests enjoyed the central dining area & freedom to have space yet closeness if desired. The rooms were shown as described on VRBO. We definitely want to stay here again although one of the beds was broken and the double queen room didn’t have a curtain, it all worked out well! Highlights are the central eatery and kitchen plus the living room!!! Thank you to the cleaning crew for letting us put up groceries prior to check in! 💗

Perfect golf house

Clean, comfortable beds that easely fit nine golfers. Good host to deal with and ansered all our questions with quick response. Quiet area with adequate parking for four cars. Convenient to all the courses that we played and good location for restaurants.

Great property

The house is a great gathering place for large groups. It is an older home but was clean and perfect for our small family reunion. It was close to shopping and restaurants in a very pleasant neighborhood. I would definitely recommend.

Family gathering Spot

Great place for family to stay, in a quiet neighborhood and close to lots of amenities. House is a little tired, but the bathrooms, beds and linens and towels were clean. Nice kitchen and amount of bathrooms. All are located off of a long hallway, so no fighting through someone's room to use the facilities. Says no smoking facility, but possibly previous renter was not adherent. Overall a good value for a short stay.

Great for large family gatherings

We traveled from many different cities to be in Winston-Salem for a weekend of wedding festivities. House was great as all bedrooms were off the hallway and so were the bathrooms. Everyone got to spread out and there was no one getting a “private bath and bedrooms “. It was all equal ! The only negative was the pillows were just too big. Kinda Uncomfortable - but the bed itself was comfortable. I would book there again !

Ideal for friends and family

We had a mix of ten friends and family and the number of bedroom and bathroom options worked out perfectly. Common areas - dining room and living room accommodated us all. We were able to play games at dining table and watch the hockey game together on TV. Rainy weekend so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor options. Convenient location in quiet neighborhood with lots of beautiful trees and birds chirping to greet you in the morning. Quentin was quick to respond.

Excellent house for large groups

House is better than listed. 7 bedrooms, 2 rooms with 2 twins, 1 room with 2 full size beds and 4 rooms with 1 full/queen size bed. All the beds are extremely comfortable. Bedding was clean and comfortable as well. Our Track and Field team loved our time at this house. Plenty of rooms to socialize and enjoy our time away from the JDL Fast Track. 4 full bathrooms made it very easy for our group of 15 to shower and get ready. No one was ever waiting to use a bathroom. If I had to say anything about this property, it would be that it needs more seating for eating. There was only one table that sat 8 people with no extra seats. There is a picnic table outside so a few sat out there for breakfast. If you rent this house, bring extra pots and pans as there aren't many. And bring disposable plates and bowls as there is only a setting for 6. There is a toaster and kuirg coffee maker. Otherwise, there are plenty of towels. Two full size washer and driers that looked brand new. I will definitely suggest this house and will likely rent here again.

Big but broken

Ten of us stayed at this property and here are our impressions: Pro’s: The house is large, with plenty of rooms and beds for us. The mattress are comfortable The bed linens were clean The neighborhood is nice and quiet Con’s Bats are living in the shutters outside the front door so you have to walk through bat poop if you want to use that door. The carpet squares have huge stains on them and are super dirty. The bathroom cabinets are unusable because they stink like mildew/mold. There is so much moisture in the cabinets that in the “green” bathroom the hinges are rusted over. In that same bathroom a bathtub was “converted” to a tiled shower in the most cobbled up way I have ever seen. The tub filling nozzles is still there so while you try to use the shower it gushes water everywhere including outside the shower area. The water handles fall off when you try to use them. 2 of the bathrooms are off the main hallway on a tiled platform. However, the tile sits about 1/2 inch above the carpet from the hallway which becomes a tripping hazard Some of the bed frames are broken The listing said it had a modern kitchen, while there are the basic fridge, stove and dishwasher, the utensils are terrible. The grill pan is completely warped, knives are dull, no cutting board. Garbage cans outside were overflowing and stank. Parked next to them one night and the car smelled like garbage too. There is more that could be said but suffice it to say, we won’t be staying there again.

Comfortable beds for a big family!

This older stone cottage had super comfortable beds for our family group of 15 ranging in ages from 1 to 66 for our stay in June. The owner, Quentin, was very accommodating and provided 2 pack-n-plays for our babies. Quentin quickly resolved a missing faucet handle in the shower that we discovered upon arrival. The house was nicely decorated. The cute kitchen had nice granite countertops and a big refrigerator and adequate cooking supplies. The separate dining room was roomy altho' not all of us could sit down and eat at the same time. It was nice to have a home on one level for bringing in suitcases - no stairs to navigate. There were plenty of towels for our group. Having 2 sets of washers and dryers with laundry supplies was awesome! The home felt private and had 2 driveways for plenty of off-street parking. The two areas we had difficulty were probably due to it being an older home: temperatures could not be controlled in the individual bedrooms by setting the thermostat at night - if one side was comfortable, the other side of the house was either too hot or too cold. Also, we also let the owner know that we avoided using one of the 4 bathrooms due to an unpleasant odor. Overall, this home was in a convenient location and adequately met our needs for 3 generations to be together at night sleeping in comfortable beds while we attended a wedding and week-long family reunion during the day.

Great Home for our Family Girls’ Weekend

We had 7 adult women, plus 13 and 11 year old girls for our annual girls’ weekend. This was our first visit to Winston-Salem and the location was ideal! We were less than a mile from a mall, from an amazing nail salon, several restaurants (even though we did Door Dash / Uber Eats mostly). There were a couple little hiccups (one shower flooded the bathroom, one bed had sheets that smelled like they’d sat wet in the laundry for several days so we ended up not getting to use one bedroom…and some delays in getting checkin info)…but overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this home and would stay here again and again.

lots of space

This is a big home with lots of space, beds and ample amount of showers/bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. House was clean overall other than one bedroom and I notified the owner and they should be taking care of by the next guest.
