Barbate & Zahora: Stretching from the noble Atlanterra near Zahara de los Atunes with its luxurious villas to the idyllic settlements of Canos de Meca and Zahora, the region of Barbate basically presents one thing: endless beaches of the finest sand and a scenic mosaic of various shades of green, ochre and yellow. Caños de Meca, the former paradise for folks who backed out, has developed into a picturesque settlement, located in a magnificent landscape. The lagoon of Zahora is a paradise for kids – it is pure bathing pleasure. The small Zahora provides the visitors with various bars and restaurants with special dishes of its region. The distances between the house Barbate, Conil and Vejer are about 10 km, and to Caños de Meca and El Palmar 5 km.
Conil: Conil is one of the smaller towns on the Costa de la Luz. The old, romantic city center of the traditional fishermen’s village is under preservation order. While taking a stroll through the beautiful town you can find numerous attractions. There are snug little bars, inviting stores, flower decorated backyards whose walls are lined with colorful Andalusian tile. You will walk up and down winding old staircases and discover hidden alleys. But once you leave the labyrinth-like aggregation of houses you will find yourself looking out at the boundless Atlantic sea - and in between, there is the 16km-wide, white sand beach, which stretches from Cabo Trafalgar all the way to the steep coast of Fuente del Gallo. Hidden in the steep coast are many quaint bays guaranteeing you undisturbed relaxation. Here, the sun shines more than 3000 hours a year, longer than anywhere else in the country of Spain. The average temperature is around 20 C even during the winter months.
Vejer: The historical Vejer, where the past of Mauretania is so present in narrow streets, looks down majestically from the steep hill where it is located. Without any doubt Vejer is one of the most beautiful and impressive villages of Spain.
The beach of the community of Vejer is 10 km away: El Palmar, a miles long dream of finest sand. At low tide the water is so shallow that even the smaller kids can safely bathe there. Behind the coast line - between fields and pastures - there are several restaurants, smaller stores and some hundred houses.
